Blood Thirsty

*CC's POV*

Ever since I told Jake that I have feelings for someone, he has been avoiding me like I have the plague..... It fucking hurts! I don't know what I did to have the one that I love the most avoid me..... He didn't let me finish before. I was going to tell him that I was in love with him. Ashley knows. He has been supportive, even though he knows that if Jake and I do get together, I would eventually become a vampire. Well, it looks like that's never happening..... He will never love me.... I was drawn out of my state of deep thought by someone shutting the door to the bathroom. Funny. It's almost four in the morning, who the fuck is up at this hour? Other than me of course. I got up and jumped down from my bunk, heading to the bathroom door. I knocked on the door, but no one answered, only the sound of shuffling and swearing could be heard. I opened the door, turning pale white at the sight that I saw. Jake was pressing toilet paper to his arms frantically, blood oozing out of deep cuts on his arms. I could feel my stinging due to the tears that threatened to spill over, but I ignored it and proceeded to getting the first aid kit from the cabinet. I shuffled over to him, and started to clean his wounds, not saying a word. He sat there, silent as he watched me as I bandage his arm. When I was done, I put the supplies back into the cabinet, then shut the door and locked it before Jake could leave. He looked at me, fear in his brown-red eyes. I sat down in front of him, looking at him seriously. "Why.... That's all I want to know..... Why did you do it....." I said softly. He took a deep breath, thinking about what he was going to say before he said anything. "B-because..... The one that I am in love with admitted his love for another person. I can't handle it..... He's the one that I want to be with forever and to be my mate, but I know he doesn't want to be a vampire......" He whispered softly, tears running down his cheeks. I felt my heart break in half. If I don't tell him my feelings now, then I will never get the chance! "Jake, I need to tell you something." I said, lifting his face so he was looking at me. I looked into his eyes, and lost my train of thought. Before I could think, I leaned over, gently pressing my lips to his soft cold ones. He tensed up at first, but gently warmed up to the kiss. He kissed me back, making my heart flutter. After a few minutes, I pulled away and smiled. "When I was saying that I was in love with someone, I was talking about you, Jake." I said, pecking him on the lips. He smiled back at me. "I love you too, Chuppy." He said, wrapping his arms around me.
