Blood Thirsty

*Jake's POV*

We were all sitting in the lounge of the bus, on our way to New York, watching Faulty Towers. CC was cuddled up to me on one couch, Jinxx to Andy on the other one, and Ash was cuddling a bowl of popcorn at the table when Andy got a call. He answered it while I started to play with CC's hair. I then noticed that Andy wasn't saying anything. He was just listening with a look if horror on his face. He quickly got up and ran into the back room. I quickly got up and followed. "What's wrong, Andy?" I asked after I shut the door. He looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. "I-I'm so sorry Jake..... CC has been targeted.... By vampire mercenaries..... Someone really wants him dead before you can turn him into a vampire." He said softly. I couldn't find words. My throat felt like it had sand in it, keeping me from saying anything. "W-what?!?! Why?!?!" I yelled, not able to keep quiet. The other guys popped their heads into the room, curious to know why I was screaming. Seeing CC's innocent face just made me start to cry. "Why would anyone want to target CC?!?!" I cried out, burying my face in my hands. "S-someone's targeting me?!" CC whispered, tears evident in his voice. "Yes, CC. Vampire mercenaries have targeted you....." Andy replied softly, pushing the rest of the guys out, then leaving the room to give us some space. I looked at him, fear evident in his eyes. I walked over to him, hugging him tightly as he hugged me back. Don't worry CC. I'll keep you safe. I won't let anyone get you." I whispered.

*time jump to the show*

*CC's POV*

"Good night New York!" Andy screamed as we all ran off stage. I didn't do well during this show. My mind was too distracted by the fear of death. Jake could tell that I didn't want to talk about it right now, so he just held my hand and kissed my head every once in a while as we walked to our hotel. I kept a silver knife on me at all times, just in case. I started to feel a bit better when we got to the room. "I'm going to take a shower. Are you going to be okay alone babe?" Jake asked getting a pair of boxers from his suitcase. I couldn't help but giggle a little. "Yes babe. I'll be fine." I said kissing him softly before he walked into the bathroom. I went and sat on the bed, watching robot chicken as I waited for him to get out of the shower. I sighed happily when I heard the shower turn off and the hair dryer turn on. I hate being alone. I then heard the closet door creak open. I could feel the blood drain from my face when I saw a pair of blood red eyes staring at me. I screeched as the vampire mercenary jumped at me, stabbing me in the chest. I heard Jake burst into the room, tackling the vampire, and killing him with a swift swipe of a silver knife. He then ran over to me. "CC! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!" He yelled, shaking me. "Jake. It hurts." I whimpered, pointing to the stab wound. I started to feel dizzy and numb, like my life force was being drained. "CC, I'm really sorry that I have to do this under these circumstances, but I don't have any other choice." He said before he bit my neck. I could feel him injecting his vampiric venom into my blood stream, but I was too weak to react. I could hear the other guys burst into the room right before I fell into a quiet darkness.
