Before You Knew Jinxx

Making things right

I waited out by the car for Shaina after school. I watched as the students flooded out from the school. No Shaina. Where the hell is she? I was waiting for another half hour, when finally, she came out. “Shaina, where the fuck have you been? I want to go home!!” I yelled at her. “Hey, look who’s grumpy.” Shaina smirked. “Shaina, I want to go home. I am tired, and you should have been out here a half hour ago!” She smirked again, and got in the car. I was mad because she wasn’t even supposed to drive the car. I really am the one who should. I got in the car and we drove home. I went to my room, and got in my bed. I was in there, crying for a good two hours. I don’t know what I did to deserve this! First Jeff, now Jeremy? After a while, I got out of bed, looked in my mirror, saw how bad I looked; my makeup smeared everywhere. I didn’t care. I sat down on the ground, and thought about the whole situation. Okay, Sara. Get a hold of yourself. Don’t let this guy do this to you. After giving myself a pep talk, it was already 10 pm. I cleaned up my face, and got ready for bed. When I woke up the next morning, I showered and got ready. Shaina, once again, wanted to drive. “No, Shaina. I am driving this time.” I am the one who has my driver’s license. When we got to school, I went to first period, and really didn’t pay attention. Second period came, and Jeremy was already in there. He looked at me. I didn’t look back. He stopped me after class. I just looked at him. “Look. I am really sorry. I really didn’t mean to hurt you.” He apologized. “You know what? It doesn’t matter. I am not going to deal with drama.” He looked hurt. “Alright.” He walked away. I felt really bad. I mean, I don’t have to like him, but I can be his friend. I watched him walk away. He walked into the library. I followed him. I saw him walk to the tutoring center. He needed a tutor! Perfect! I went in there, and I made sure he didn’t see me. I went to the desk, and I signed up to be a tutor. The lady at the desk told me that that kid over there needed someone to tutor him in math. “Okay, perfect.” I told her. The lady went over to him and told him that she found him a tutor, and to meet them in the library after school. I did just that.
