Before The Angels Fell

Rileys POV

After weeks and weeks of repairing and preparing, me and Andy were once again in a good place. And just in time too. Halloween was today and we were hosting the party of parties. Everyone was coming to this. All of our close friends that enjoyed alcohol and company. Members from Falling In Reverse, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, Bring Me The Horizon, everyone that was everyone. Andy pulled a lot of strings to get everyone here. While he focused on the guest list, I worked on everything else.
We decided to host the party at The Roof. Plenty of space and room for surprises. I've made my club into the most horrifying haunted house possible. Every floor decked out with everything Halloween.
I themed my costume as a gory day of the dead skull. Detailed face paint and sexy outfit to match. I wanted Andy to match me, but he insisted he wore his Batman costume since he didn't get to wear it last year. It bothered me more than I let it show, but we didn't need another pointless argument. I let him get his way, purely because it would be our one year anniversary after midnight and I wanted it to go perfectly.

"Andy! Are you almost ready?!" I called from our bathroom.
"Yeah, nearly.... RAWR! I'M BATMAN!" Andy shouted as rushed into the bathroom.
I laughed as he made his stance as Batman. "You look awesome. Tonight is going to be amazing. I'm so glad we get to do this" I said grabbing the fabric of his costume and pulling him closer.
"Me too. It's going to be the most memorable night. No one will ever forget it" he said gently kissing me. Careful to not ruin my make up.

Ashleys POV

I didn't understand why this was hard for me. This party was amazing. Every chick here looked slutty as fuck. I had my good friend and fuck buddy Dani hanging off my arm, yet she wasn't the one I wanted.
"Awww, poor Ashweey, still pining for Andy's girl I see" Dani taunted as she got us drinks.
"I'm not" I snapped.
"Okay, you sat one thing, but your face says another. You can't take your eyes off her."
I looked Dani up and down. Her costume was a very tight red latex dress and devil horns."But I'm looking at you" I said snidely.
"Oh please. Come on baby, drink up and tell me all your problems" she said nudging my drink to my lips.
I obediently downed my drink.
"Good boy. Now spill" she demanded.
"Andy doesn't love Riley" I blurted.
"What do you mean?" She said confused.
"You don't see what I see, but Andy... he doesn't care for Riley. You should have seen the way he treated her in London. It was ridiculous! He ignored her for the first day, then he let Danny yell at her for good reason. Andy let him be an asshole to her! It was my idea to invite her in the first place. If it wasn't for me she would have never come!"
"Feel better now?" Dani asked.
"Oh wait, I haven't told you the best part. The whole reason why she's perfect for me!"
Dani laughed. "Perfect for you? That's a stretch, but amuse me Ashley, why is she so perfect for you?" She said sarcastically.
"She used to be a fucking stripper!"
I watched as Dani's mouth dropped open like she was waiting for the blow job to start.
"Nahh, you're lying" she said shaking her head.
"I don't lie. Look at that ass! I've seen it in action!"
"I need another drink" Dani said shaking her head.
She dragged me towards the bar and ordered us a round of shots.
"Tequila?" I questioned as the bartender poured.
"Yep. Shot. Go!" She instructed.
I downed the shot without the salt or lime.
"So... why don't you tell her you like her?"
"Are you kidding? I can't do that! She loves Andy. She has made that clear to me. Andy may treat her like shit, but she doesn't see it... or she does and chooses to ignore it..."
"You think she ignores it?"
"I think to a point... Look, the last time we really spoke was in London. She thinks I'm a pig. There's no way she ever like me."
"Speaking of the devil, Riley is coming towards us..." Dani tried to say quietly.
"Hey Ash... and Dani? Is it?" She chimed as she entered our group.
"Yeah, umm, I might let you too talk, I've gotta say hi to some people" Dani said leaving us, but tilting her head to me.
"Sooo, what do you think?" Riley asked nervously.
"It's amazing Riles. Almost better than Jinxx's" I winked.
"Ohh, you can't say that!" She blushed.
"But, I can. Hey, umm I hope it's okay that I brought Dani along...?"
"Ohh... yeah, of course. You're entitled to bring whoever you like, even if she looks like a hooker" she mumbled.
"Hey! She's an escort. She doesn't like the term hooker. But I don't pay for her, we're friends. I like her coming with me to these things."
"Fair enough. You're call."
"Hey, ummm, I'm sorry about the accident. I hope you're okay."
"Ohh, umm, yeah, I'm fine. A few stitches here and there, but overall, fine. Car, not so much" she shrugged.
"What happened?"
"Ummm, I just was tired an wasn't concentrating, that's all..."
*cling cling cling* We heard when someone tapped a glass loudly.
"Hey everyone! Hey, can you turn to music down for a sec!?" Andy yelled from the bar to the DJ.
Andy moved so he was standing on top of the bar. "Hey everyone! In case you don't know, I'm Andy and I want to thank you all for coming to this special Halloween party myself and my girlfriend Riley are hosting tonight. How about a round of applause for her, for lending out her bar! Where is Riley?!"
Andy looked around and spotted her next to me. I saw her smile when their eyes met and she joined him on top of the bar.
"If you guys haven't met her yet, you are now. This is Riley, and tonight is extra special for us. She is one of the most amazing people I know and I'm so grateful for her to be in my life. Sooo, right about now, on November 1st last year. Coming home from Jinxx's place, I told her I loved her. It has now been a year from that day and I love her a whole lot more. Now, I know we said no presents, but I couldn't help myself" He said announced as I watched him pull out a rectangular box. It was long and skinny, so I knew it had to be a bracelet.
I watched Riley's face and she gasped as she pulled open the box.
Maybe Andy really does love her.
