Surprises
Sometime around midnight…
I slip out of my apartment and walk up the stairs to the balcony. I lean on the railing and smile at the night sky. I take a peice of my hair and twist it around my finger. The natural brown turns black, then white and the finally a grey blue. Just like Andy's eyes. The thought slips out before I could catch myself. And now I can't stop thinking about him. His full lips. His beautiful eyes. How tall he is. How funny he is. How perfect he is for Juliet. I remind myself. I take a deep breath and exhale. I turn and see a shadow looming over me. I turn around again and see a smiling Andy.
"Hi. Um what are you doing here?" I ask, ruffling my hands through my hair. He shrugs and walks around the small balcony. "I was just flying around. And then I saw you and I wanted to say thank you." I smile and nod. I raise my self up onto the ledge and sit, swinging my feet in circles. I put my hair up in a pony tail leaving one strand down. It turns green.
Andy smiles, walks over, and sits next to me. He tries to swing his legs to meet my pace but couldn't so he just stopped all together. "What's your favorite color?" I look at him in wonder. Why would he care? "Green's my favorite color right now. My favorite color changes with my mood." He nods. "What's yours?" He smiles. "Black." "Technically black, white, and grey aren't colors. They're the absence of color." He looks over at me with a raised brow. "I took art classes in school." He nods. "How old are you?" He asks quietly, looking up at the sky. "I am 21 years old." He nods. "Do you ever miss not being famous?" He thinks for a second. He shakes his head. "No. Well maybe. Wait, no." I laugh at his indecisiveness. "What?" I shake my head. "Oh nothing." He sighs and stares back up at the sky. I raise my hand and wave it.
The sky turns into a movie screen. "Show me… Kellin and Melody." The screen flashes to the two of them watching Mia sleep. I turn up the volume and everyone's gone. "Isn't she just adorable Kellin?" He nods and grabs her waist. "Yeah. I can't wait for the next one." Me and Andy look at each other and laugh. I wave my hand again and the screen turns black. "Show me…Ronnie." Andy says. The screen flashes to see Ronnie and Crissy watching Willow walk and play with her toys. They smile and quietly talk. The screen fades into black again. "Oo show me…The Black Eyed Peas!" I say. The screen flashes colors of a club. I see all four of them dancing around the club with various partners. Eventually the strobe lights became to much for our eyes and I waved the screen to blackness. Andy looks puzzled for a second. "Show me what Taylor's Saturday is gonna be like." The screen flashes to my bed, then speeds throughout my day. Great. My day is gonna be boring. "Show me Andy's Saturday." The screen flashes and Andy's Saturday is pretty much no better than mine.
Around two…
The screen powers down with a battery sign flashing saying it's dead. We wipe away tears from laughing so hard and I feel Andy stare at me. I look at him as the laughter dies down. He lightly brings his lips to mine and then pulls away. His eyes widen and he scrambles off the balcony. "Um Taylor I have to go. I'll see you soon." He flies away and I lightly touch my finger tips to my lips. I sigh and walk back downstairs to my apartment and go to bed.
