The End of Wonderland
Me and Andy walk out into the dark world. "Goodbye Absulme. Keep safe." He chuckles. "I should be saying that to you." I nod and we walk towards the maze. The rain starts to pour and we stop at the beginning of the maze. Absulme helped with the Alice thing so now we just need to do this and…the other thing. I pull a bungee cord out of a portal. I grab two harnesses and hand one to Andy. I put it on and so does he. "The paths are tight and dangerous. So this way we'll be safe." He nods and I hook the bungee cord between us. I walk into the maze with Andy and the intrance boards up. I sigh and look up. The rain floods through but there's a net. Well that gets rid of that alternative.
"Follow me." I take the first right. After about an hour we're back where we made our first turn. Andy sighs. "Stop that. I'm trying at least." He glares. "Well maybe I should lead!" I throw my hands up. "Fine Mr. Perfect! Lead!" He starts walking, dragging me through the mud. He stops and laughs. I stand up and wipe the mud off my face. "Jackass." I say standing up, the mud sliding off of my leather clothes. He stops laughing and walks over. "I'm so sorry Taylor." I smile bitterly. I push him down in the mud and he glares. Mud washes from him and I keep walking. He lightly bumps me as I round a corner and my boot slips. I catch the wall as I fall and my stomach hits the hard rock.
"Shit!" I say. Andy scrambles down and grabs my wrists. The rock starts to break off. A crack comes spiraling. Towards us. My boots keeping slipping off the watery rocks. Andy finally pulls me up as the crack comes. We press against the wall and the rock we were previously on breaks off. I breath in deeply. Andy looks at me and smiles a little. "Good thing we have those cords or else you would have been a goner." I hit his chest and we edge away against the wall. I see a little person come walking and I stop. The little demon sees us and comes running. Retard. He falls off the crack before he could regain his balance. We step onto a ticket path and move away from the wall. It crumbles. "We're getting closer." I say.
We walk for another two hours when we get to the lake. Three mermaids and a merman swim over to us. One of the girls looks like Juliet and the other two look like Crissy and CC's girlfriend. Andy reaches out for Juliet. "Don't. She's not actually Juliet. The moment she grabs you she'll drag you under and reveal her true face." I look at the man and see Jackson. I blink and keep walking around them. He grips my arm and I chop off his hand. I almost get to the edge when I feel myself stop. I look and see Andy gravitating towards Juliet. She grabs him and drags him under, taking me with them. I get to the edge and start pulling.
I feel someone pull back but I pull harder. Andy start surfacing and I pull him out. His cheek is scratched and his eyes are wide open. I drag him to the other side of the pool and into the safety of the maze. I lean him against the hedge and slap him. He starts blinking again and looks at me. "T-Taylor? Where's Juliet?" He says looking around. "That's not Juliet. Juliet is still in the real world. We're almost done and then we can go home." He nods and I rest my head against his. He pants slightly. I rub my hands. Blood flows from the cuts. He stares at it slightly. "You're not thirsty?" He shakes his head. "When I almost lost you, I realized I didn't need you're blood anymore. It will always be entoxicating for me, but it doesn't bother me anymore." I nod. I stand and so does he. We look up and see Lucifer standing in the middle of the maze. "Congrats. You've finished the maze, gave the hatter Chesire's tail, gave the White Queen Red's crown, and comforted Alice. Now have you two chosen the person you will kill?" I draw a shakey breath. We nod. "Andy who did you choose?" Andy walks up and looks into the mirror Lucifer gestured to. I can't see who he chose. "I won't actually have to kill her will I?" Lucifer shakes his head. "Taylor?" Andy steps away. He chose me. I can feel it. The way he looks guilty. I look in the mirror and see myself ripple in it. Lucifer frowns. "You two may now leave." And we appear on the roof again.
