I shut the front door behind me, and walked out into the street. I rubbed my arms, because it was chillier that it was this morning. I looked up at the clouds. They were still a mucky grey colour. The colour sent shivers down my spine. I could fee something bruing, I just didn't know what. I shook my head, and looked back down. I didn't want to think about it. I wasn't going to get myself worried over something that was happening up there. My family came first, and as long as it didn't effect them I was fine. I walked all the way to Alice's school, and stood in the playground, my arms folded. As the bell went, I looked out at all the kids running out to their parents.

I looked around for Alice, but I couldent see her. I saw her class teacher, Mr Todd, walk towards me, and I sighed. Not again. She was always doing somethin strange or angel like that would freak out other kids, or sometimes even teachers, causing her to get into trouble. But it could be worse, she could of unfolded her wings and flew about the classroom. "Would you like to come with me a minute Mrs Biersack, we need to discuss you daughter." He said, and I nodded, following him into the school, and into her classroom. Alice was sitting at a desk, looking down into her lap. I sat down beside her, and Mr Todd sat in front of us. "Now. I wouldent call you in AGAIN, unless it was something serious." He started, and I nodded, looking at Alice. "Today, just after break time, she decided to bring a dead pigeon in th class room from outside." He said, and I held in my giggle. I knew what she was planning to do.

Angels have good powers, and feel pain and sorry or anything with wings like a pigeon. Not only do we feel their pain, but we can also heal them, and bring them back to life. She wasn't doing anything wrong, she was just doing what she felt was right. "Now I know that dead pegions can be fasinating for children, and many a time have I had to move children away from them so I can remove the thing, but I have never had a child pick it up and bring it inside. It's not higenic, and could bring all sorts of illness's and diseases into the school." He said, and I nodded. "Im extreamly sorry about that, she tends to do crazy things from time to time. I promise you it will not happen again." I said, standing up, and Alice stood too, grabbing her back and taking my hand. "But this is not good enough. It is the 7th time something like this has happened, and sorry will not cut it." He said, standing to, and I stared at him. "Well I will talk with her, but at the end of the day she is my daughter, and no matter how strange she is I will love her, and she should be excepted for who she is, not what people like you want her to be. Now if you excuse me we need to get home."

I said, getting up, and leaving the room, Alice grasping my hand. Once we had gotten out of the playground and into the streets, I looked at Alice. "Alice sweetie we've talked about this, you can't do stuff like that at school."
"But Mommy it was hurting. I could feel it here." She said, pointing to her chest. I sighed, and stopped, making her look up at me. "I know sweet heart, but sometimes, you can't save everything, no matter how much it hurts." I said, and she sighed, looking up at me. I sighed, and gently picked her up, and carrying her the rest of the way. "Listen to me sweetie. No matter what, me and Daddy will always love you, and it dosent matter if you don't save everyone or everything. It may hurt for a while, but it'll go away." I said, and she nodded, sniffling slightly. "Now come on, how about me and you sit on the sofa and watch batman until daddy gets back?" I said, and she imediatly grinned. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" She said, and I smiled, putting her on the floor, and watching her run to the front door, and slip the key I gave her into the lock.

I heard thunder and my head shot back to look at the clouds. They were getting close to black now, and I didn't like what I was seeing. They seemed to be moving faster and faster towards our town. I had lived here for years now and I had never seen clouds like that before ever. The only time was when I was young, and still in the clouds, and I couldent really remember it all. To be honest I didn't really want to was my first reaction of the memory. I turned away and walked inside the house. Alice was already on the sofa, and the batman logo was on the screen. I smiled, and took off my coat, and grabbed us both a drink before sittig down beside her, watching Batman.

After a while my phone began to vibrate. I picked it up and smiled. It was Sammi.
Sammi- Heyy sweetie, bored as hell so I thought I'd chat to you ;) xxx
Me- Lol, heyy Sammi babe, if your that bored come around here, Alice hasnt seen you for ages. xxx
Sammi- Are you sure? Don't want to intrude.xxx
Me- sweetie, I've known you so long you should know that you woulent be and I don't mind come round. xxx
Sammi- ok then :) I'll be over in a minute. xx
ME- see ya. xxx

"Auntie Sammi's coming over in a bit." I said, and Alice jumped up and cheered. "Yay!" she said, unfolding her wings and flying around the room. I smiled at her, and cleared away the chocolate wrappers off the sofa where she had been sitting. After a few minutes, there was a knock at the door. Sammi came in, and I smiled, giving her a hug. "Hey sweetie." I said, and she smiled at me. "Hey darling, how are you?"
"I'm good." I said, and suddenly Alice flew up to Sammi and hugged her tightly. "Auntie Sammi!" She said, and Sammi giggled, hugging her back. All the guys knew that I was an angel about a year after me and Andy were together, and they all knew that Alice was half angel and half human. None of them ever treated us different, we were just like them in their eyes. "Hello there sweetie how are you?"
"I'm good Auntie Sammi, come on were watching Batman." She said, flying back into the living room.

Sammi giggled, and looked at me. "So I'm guessing she diffinetly got that from her farther."
"Yep." I said, and we giggled, following her into the front room. She gentl landed onto the sofa, and folded away her wings, her eyes glued to the TV screen once more. "What time's Andy getting back?"
"ermm.....7.30 I think. Why?"
"Because Jinxx's phone is off and I don't know what time he's coming back. There both together at the studio so I gathered that they'd come home together."
"yeah they probably will, I'll text Andy just to check." I said, getting my phone out and opening a new message.

Another crack of thunder went off, and lightening flashed down. I snapped my head towards the window, and looked outside. The whole thing looked really familiar, I just couldent remember what from. "Jesus, I've never seen I storm like this before." Sammi said, and I nodded gettingup and walking to it. She followed me, and put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine...I think."
"Is it anything you want to talk about?"
"No....No i'm fine. It's just because it's home, I know how bad it can be up there in a storm like this."
"Well...is there any chance you can go up? Just to check everythings ok."
"I don't know..I have Alice, and Andy, work and-"
"I'll stay here with Alice, and when Andy gets back I'll tell him where you've gone, don't worry i'll take care of everything."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. Now go before it starts to rain."
"OK, thank you. I won't be long." I said, hugging Sammi, kissing Alice, and heading outside, flying upwards into the now black cloud.
