Don't Mess With Ouija Boards

[Ashley's POV]

I carefully scooped Raven up and got out. Jinxx already had the front door open so I walked in and took her to the living room. I put her on my favorite comfy spot on the couch and went to find her a pillow and blanket.

"CC, grab her a bottle of water in case she wants it when she wakes up. I'll be right back." I whispered.

I found her a pair of my sweats, a loose shirt, and pair of socks. There's no way she's comfortable in those tight jeans and tank. I made my way back down and saw her waking up.

"Hey Raven, I brought you something comfortable to change in to if you want."

"Thanks Ashley. Can you help me up so I can get changed?" She asked sleepily.

"Sure thing, just take these, then wrap your arms around my shoulders and hold tight. Do you want to stay down here and get to know everyone, or go up to your room?"

"Um, down here is fine."

I carried her to the closest bathroom.

She seemed kind of star struck. "Don't be so shy Raven. You're part of this crazy family now, we're loud and crazy, but always there for each other."

I put her down close to the counter. "I'll be right outside the door when you're done."

After a while I heard her whisper, "Ash, um, I need help."

I opened the door. She managed to change her shirt, but looked like her pants were a problem.

"You want me to get Ever to help you?"

"I'm covered, besides, it wouldn't be the first time you saw anything Purdy Porn."

"Hold the shirt down, I'll look away and pull."

She changed as quickly as she could and I got her back to the sofa.

"Here's your pain meds and some water, and the remote, I'm going to help Jinxx with the luggage. Here's my phone incase you need any of us and we can't hear you."

I leaned down and kissed the top of her head and walked out of the room. Why did I just do that?

[Raven's POV]

I was bored of just sitting and watching television after an hour and decided to get up and move around little. I bit my lip as I walked around the house in Ashley’s clothes happily, I hummed I’m not a Vampire and danced around in the hall like Ronnie does on stage. That lead to me singing it and imagining I was preforming in front of a crowd, I was well into my daydream when I heard someone chuckle from behind me and I spun on my heels. My eyes searched for who made that sound and I saw Jake I ruffled the back of my hair nervously.

“Hi Jake..” I mumbled embarrassed

“You don’t need to stop for me its kinda funny” He smiled and I sighed biting my lip

“Its not funnyyyyyy.” I whined and I rolled my eyes

"I take it you're feeling better?" He asked.

"I'm not feeling a damn thing right now."

"How about I take you to your new room to lay down?"

"Mkay."

Jake took me to what would be my room and at that moment Ashley was the only one in there. He had to go call Ella, so I jumped on Ashley who was laying on his stomach on my bed. I laughed as he jumped like a crazy fangirl had just jumped on him, I blushed when he pinned me down because he was surprised.

“Hi Ash!” I laughed.

[Ashley's POV]

"You scared the shit out of me Raven! I trying to figure out what all we need to do in here to make it your room. Your uncle said you can redo it how you want. Everything in here was Everly's. Well, everything except the posters. That was CC's doing."

She yawned.

"You okay Ray?"

She giggled, "You rhymed."

I shook my head. "Feeling good from the pain medicines?"

"Pretty much."

"Why don't you lay down for a bit? You need to be careful with broken ribs. Ask Andy how his felt when he was up too much."

I got her under the covers and turned to leave.

"Sit and talk with me Ashley. I'm bored by myself."

I sat on top of the blanket on the other side of her. We started talking and getting to know each other, and after a short while she was passed out. I made sure she was comfortable and left the room.

I bumped into Jinxx in the hall.

"Have you seen Raven? I can't find her?"

"Tucked in bed, she was feeling pretty damn good from the meds." He laughed.

"Okay, I was just going to check on how she was doing. I'm worried about what all this has done to her."

I put my hand on his shoulder, "It's going to be a long road for her to heal mentally and physically. All we can do is be here for her."
