Our Family

Wednesday.


I'm feeling a lot better than last week. I've been out a lot with Jack and I've been overly happy. Though I haven't really slept much, I haven't been that tired so I've been pulling all nighters since Monday. I apologized to my dad for being all pissy with him. I don't even know why I was even angry with him, I love him. Since mom's been back, her and dad still haven't fought, but I know a big fight is on its way.

School was great today, we didn't have to do any work because most of the juniors and seniors are on a trip. So Jack, Austin, Kristen, and I were discussing the band. We decided on the name, "P.U.N.K.", it stands for "Partying Underaged Naive Kids". It kinda describes us completely. Kristen was the one who created the name, turns out she's more than her looks.

Kristen and I have gotten to know each other a lot more today and right now we're at my house.

"So your parents are Andy Biersack and Juliet Simms?" Kris asks.

"Yep." I say popping the p.

"I've been listening to BVB a lot recently, they're really good. You're so lucky to have grown up with rockstar parents." She says.

"Well yes but no. Sure I get a big allowance, tons of band merch, to meet band members, and music lessons. But I don't get to see them a lot. My dad should be in Vancouver by next month, working on the BVB album. After that, he'll be on tour for three months. While that's going on, my mom will be here for a month longer, but she'll be on tour soon."

"Leaving you all by yourself."

"Not really, my grand parents usually fly over to take care of me or some of my other honorary uncles or aunts will take care of me."

"So you've kind of grown up without parents?"

"In a way I did, but when they're with me, it feels like haven't missed anything."



After hanging out with Kris for an hour, she had to go home for dinner. My parents came home and we've all been sitting in uncomfortable silence, no idea why. I go on my phone and put my earbuds in to listen to music. Before I even press play, the fighting begins.

"Jules we need to tell her!" Dad says.

"Tell her what Andy? That she has to choose between us!" Mom says.

"Well we can have shared custody, she loves it here and for her to have to move across the country back and forth isn't really an option." He says.

"She's my daughter Andy, I'm in titled to see her."

"She's our daughter, and I never said you wouldn't be able to see her. I'm just saying that Lily isn't moving to Miami with you."

"Miami?" I ask taking out my earbuds.

"Lily we thought you were listening to music." Mom says.

"Yeah well you thought wrong. How could you neglect to tell me you're moving? For God fucking sakes mother, this is why I'm not going with you! You never tell me anything!" I storm up to my room and slam the door. Yes my dad put the door back on, he just removed the lock.

I just can't believe my mom right now. She knows things are going on yet she still focuses more on herself than anyone else. I just want to sleep, that's all that can keep me away from this nightmare.



Andy's POV

"I told you we should have told her." I say smugly.

"Well it's not like she was going to change my mind anyways." Jules says.

"I can't even look at you right now." I get to my feet and start walking down the hall.

"I didn't do anything wrong Andy!" She yells. I turn around.

"But you did, you only thought of yourself Jules."

I walk upstairs to go check on Lily. I knock lightly, but there's no answer. I open the door to see my babygirl asleep. I sit on the edge of her bed and move her hair away from her beautiful face.

"Lily." I whisper, she doesn't move.

"Lily wake up." I say and shake her body a little. She's not moving at all. I check her pulse... She's still breathing.

"Juliet! Call 911!"
