Lily's POV


I can't stay with my uncles, I'm thankful they got me out of the house though. I need to talk to someone, but I feel like I have no one. I don't want to tell Jack or Austin because they will want to confront my dad, and I know he made a mistake. I can't call mom, or I'll never see dad again. All my uncles will shield me from him and I don't want that. I don't want to be shielded, I just want him to calm down. I love my dad, more than pretty much anything, but I can't be in that house, not now.

I didn't go that far, I'm just hiding between my house and my neighbour's. Right now I'm overhearing the conversation between my uncles and my dad.

"Andy, where could she be?" Ash asks.

"No idea, but you gotta go find her." Dad says.

"Us? What about you? She's your daughter!" CC says.

"You two decided to take her from me, she's your responsibility right now." Dad says.

"So you're not at all worried?" Ash asks.

"No, I know my babygirl, if she wants to be found, she'll be found. If not, we might never see her again." Dad says.

"Come on Ash, we gotta go find her." CC says. They get in the car and drive away.

"Babygirl, if you're around, I want you to understand how sorry I am. You know I never meant to hurt you, I was angry when I shouldn't have been. I should have trusted you, I shouldn't have freaked out. I'm scared of losing you, because if you're gone part of me is too. I love you and I just hope you'll be able to forgive me." Dad says and walks back inside.

What I'm going to do might not be smart, but I'm a teenager. I walk into the house and slam the door. My dad pops his head out from the kitchen.

"You're back." He says.

"Shut up!" I yell. I walk over to him and hug him. I tilt his head down and kiss him. He pulls back and stares at me.

"Lily."

"Shut up, I don't want to talk. I just want to kiss you."

"But Lily,"

"What?"

"Your uncle Matt will be here any second."

"Who?"

"That's right, I never told you about Matt." He starts walking into the living room and I follow.

"Who's Matt?"

"He was my best friend, we used to hangout until I met your mom. Well we hung out still, but barely and rarely. Anyways, he said he was in the neighbourhood and I invited him over. I just texted him before you walked in."

"Okay, is he nice?"

"Are you kidding me? He's awesome! You'll love him."

"Okay, one kiss before he gets here." We both leave in and the doorbell rings. "Go answer it." I say saddened. He opens the door and they man hug.

"Matt this is my daughter, Lily." Dad says. Matt walks in and shakes my hand.

"It's nice to meet you." Matt says.

"And you." I say.

"Andy I didn't even know you had a kid, last time I saw you was on your wedding day. I was your dad's best man." Matt says.

"Oh, I've never seen any of the wedding pictures." I say.

"And you wouldn't because we didn't hirer a photographer or anything really, though your granddad videotaped the whole thing." Dad says. "I need to make a quick call to Ashley telling him Lily's fine, I'll be right back." He walks upstairs.

"So dad says you two use to be best friends, what happened?" I ask.

"Well it was the first few months that your parents were dating and they decided to break up. Then your mom found out she was pregnant and got back with your dad. Really you fixed they're relationship completely. Anyways after they got married, Andy was kinda preoccupied with you and your mom that we just distanced." Matt says.

"So it's my fault you and dad aren't that close anymore." I say.

"No, it's not your fault at all. It's just that when you're a parent, it's difficult to be stupid with your best friend every weekend." He says.

"What'd you and dad use to do?"

"We would walk around supermarkets and play with the toys like complete idiots. We'd just do stupid silly things that somehow entertained us."

"You two were wild." I say sarcastically.

"Well if you wanted wild stories, you should have went to Danny." His phone buzzes in his pocket and he looks at the message. "I have to go, but can you tell your dad to call me?"

"Yeah, can you take a picture with me first? It might make BVB fans on Twitter go wild."

"Yeah." We take three pictures; one with us being creepy, another with us being silly, and the last one made us look like models. "Bye uncle Matt." I say as he exits the house.

"I'm gonna have to get use to you calling me that, don't I?" He asks and I nod. "I'll see ya later kiddo." He gets into his car and drives away. Dad walks downstairs as I shut the front door.

"Did Matt leave?" Dad asks.

"Yeah, you need to call him later. Let's go watch Marvel's Agents Of Shield!" I suggest.

"Sure, does that mean you forgive me?"

"For now."

We cuddle on the couch together while we watch the newest episode.
