Ashley's P.O.V.

I'm driving Neva back to campus and what she said about something missing is bothering me too. I know I told her not to stress, but now that I think about it something seemed different. I contributed it to actually loving the girl I was having sex with. I pull up to the parking lot, still replaying last night... Oh FUCK! I slam on my brakes when it hits me.
"Condom!" Neva and I shout together
We stare at each other and it's clear on our faces, we fucked up.
"Neva, baby I am so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. I swear I meant to put one on, I have never forgot. I know saying 'I love you' isn't an excuse for not using one even though I do love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but I... I am so sorry." I start to blab, pouring out apology after apology.
"Shhh." she stares straight at the dashboard, thinking, "let me think."
She starts counting off her fingers, and I'm wondering what is running through her head. I feel like shit, one choice could ruin her life, I could lose her. What if she doesn't want to keep it? Could I bear to go along with her choice? What if we get lucky and she doesn't get pregnant? I wish she would just talk to me already.
"Lets not stress," she finally says, "today is our anniversary. I'm supposed to start in a few days, we can slightly panic then."
She looks at me and smiles. I nod and decide tonight is the night not to stress. I kiss her and she grabs her bag.
"See you later." she says as she slowly closes the door and I watch her walk away.


Neveah's P.O.V.

I get ready for dinner tonight with Ashley but I can't shake the fact that I could be pregnant. God one choice, and I'm sure he blames himself. God this will ruin his career. What if he doesn't want me to keep it? What if...
"Neva?" Shay's voice says from behind me, "You okay? You look pale."
I shouldn't tell her, just in case I'm not, no need to worry her right? But she knows something is up.
"Um... just nervous. Tonight is our anniversary and I forgot to get him something. I hope he doesn't feel like I don't care." I say
"He could never think that!" Amelia yells, looking up from her summer reading book, "I see the way he looks at you. Wither you forgot or not, he won't care. Besides, you still have a gift you can give him."
She winks at me and I blush.
"Wait, you blushed," Shay spoke up, "Did you already?"
God this is so embarrassing, I'm not used to having girl talk, and me not saying anything is only making it worse apparently.
"Oh my God you did!" Amelia shouts, "Dets."
I smack myself in the face and turn a bright red, thank God there is a knock and I get up to answer the door. Ashley stands there in a suit and a smile across his face, but one look at his eyes and I know he's been thinking about it too.
"Bye girls," I say as I turn to leave, but they both give me looks like they aren't done with me. Looks like I'll be avoiding them for a few days.
