Free Bird

My holiday was absolutely perfect, I got to spend it with my best friends, my new 'parents', and the best guy ever! But now college is back with a vengeance, and my teachers this semester are not playing around. I have so much more homework this semester, it feels like I have something due everyday. The guys are worried about me because I haven't been able to call or text like usual, but with homework and work, I have no time!
"Hey Neveah," Shay says as she runs into the room frantically, "have you seen my charger? My laptop is going to die and I am almost done with my paper!"
"Check where you threw it last?" I question as I focus on not taking my eyes off my paper
She smiles as she takes my advice and finds her charger under her bed to run back to where ever she came from, but not before telling me she wants to talk later. I look up in shock but shes already gone. We have never exchanged more than a few words at a time because our schedules don't line up with each other, now she wants to talk? What about? Just as my mind is panicking about this my phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" I ask
"Hey Neva, what's up sweetie?" Ashley's familiar voice wonders from the other side of the phone, thousands of miles away in the U.K.
"Homework, papers, studying, losing my mind, missing you guys!" I shout to loudly
"You will be able to get through it hun, just think of Spring Break. You'll be with me and the guys as we continue touring."
His words of encouragement melt me from the inside. I calm down and push my laptop away and give this man my full attention.
"What are you guys doing today?"
"Oh you know, the usual. Site seeing, sound check, meet and greet, play the show, get drunk, sleep."
Just then the door opens and Amelia stands there with a huge smile on her face and she skips over to my bed. She plops down and mouths 'I have news!' I give her a smile and hold my finger up to tell her one moment.
"I hope you have fun tonight. Pass me around please?" I ask
"HI NEVEAH!" everyone screams at once.
"I said pass not speaker! Hi guys! I miss you!"
"I miss my best friend! Nobody else appreciates Batman, they took all my movies and hid them!" I can hear the pout in his voice and can only imagine what his face looks like
"You would make us watch them every night." I hear CC say from nearby, then a smack as someone high fives him.
"Tell Ashley to tell me where they are! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!"
"Hi Neva," I hear Jinxx, followed by Jake say.
"Hi guys, and Ashley you better give him his movies back. Or I might have to send the Calvary too."
They all laugh and we say our goodbyes.

Amelia's smile has never left her face, it only grew as she waited in anticipation.
"What? You're face is going to break." I tell her
"I have a boyfriend!
