Immortal Spell

We were sitting around the kitchen just talking and watching the sauce to make sure it didn’t burn when I heard the front door intercom buzz.
“Hello.” I answered.
“Hello miss KE; there are four men down here asking for you.”
“Oh thank you, tell them I will be right down.”
“Will do” and with that the guy at the front desk hung up.
“I’m going to get the guys, Ashley do you want to come with me?” I called into the kitchen.
“Absolutely.” He said coming over to me and grabbing my hand as we began to walk out the door.
“AJ, we’ll be right back.” I called over my shoulder.
We walked to the elevator and went down to the lobby when the doors opened we saw the four of them each carrying a different type of alcohol.
“Hey guys! Get on.” I shout from the elevator as Ashley holds the door, our hands never separating. Andy was the first to notice me yelling and nudged to others; they all walked to the elevator and got on. Ashley press the button for my floor and we all rode up in silence; with the guys occasionally glancing at Ashley and me. When the elevator stopped we got off with Ashley and I leading the way to my apartment door.
“Welcome to my place.” I said to the guys “AJ get your ass out here.” She came walking out of the kitchen with Erebus in her arms with Nyx trailing behind.
“Hello I’m Ashley but everyone calls me AJ.” She said waving her hand
“So we have two Ashley’s here tonight, oh and I’m Andy.” Andy said waking up to AJ shaking her hand and then petting Erebus.
“Hey I’m CC.”
“I’m Jake.”
“And I’m Jinxx.” They all introduced themselves.
“Where can we put the alcohol?” CC asked.
“Here you guys can follow me to the kitchen; we’ll be eating on the patio anyway.” I say walking to the kitchen with my hand still in Ashley’s. “We are having ravioli that Ash and I made this afternoon with a sauce I made. You can set down the alcohol on the table and I’ll get some glasses out, then we can head outside.” Said releasing Ashley’s hand and walking over to the cabinet with the glasses in it.
“So what did you guys bring? I want to get drunk.” AJ said. She had a week filled with bad days.
“AJ don’t go overboard I don’t want to be holding you hair back at three in the morning.” I say coming back over to the table.
“I will make no promises.” She said making herself her first drink.
“Whatever, I’m going to get one of my good bottles of wine.” I say walking over to the pantry.
“What do you have?” Ashley asked me.
“I have Tignanello.” I say coming back with my favorite bottle of wine.
“Can I have a glass?” he asks walking over to me.
“Of course you can.” I say as I pour us two glasses.
“Shall we head outside?” AJ asked already sounding tipsy; I swear in the thousands of years I’ve known her she could never hold alcohol well. Everyone followed her outside with Nyx walking in between Ashley and I.
“Ooo fooood!” CC yelled as he ran over to where AJ set the snacks up.
“So, AJ what do you do?” Andy asked.
“I’m a psychologist.” AJ said taking another drink.
“Cool, so how do you and Kassy know each other?” Jinxx asked
“We have been friends since we were babies.” I say.
“Kassy and I have known each other for twenty-seven years.” AJ says.
We ended up talking for a while longer with Ashley or me periodically checking on dinner. “Hey it’s almost five do you want to eat dinner?” I asked coming back out from the kitchen. They all said “sure” except CC who said “Hell yes.” We then headed into the kitchen to get our food; I feed Nyx and AJ feed Erebus. When everyone had their food we headed back outside.
“This is fucking awesome Kassy.” CC said after he scarfed down half his food.
“I have to agree with CC; I have to get your recipe.” Jake said.
“Thanks and I will make sure to give it to you once I translate it to English.” I said as I continued to eat.
“Wait the recipe isn’t in English.” Jake said.
“Well part of it is the ravioli recipe is in English but not the sauce that’s in Italian.” I said as I took another bite of my food.
“I didn’t expect it to taste so good and I helped you cook.” Ashley said from beside me.
“This is awesome by the way; I love the sauce.” Andy said and Jinxx nodded his head in agreement.
“I love it; you have to give me the recipe.” Jake says.
“I will defiantly do that; I can give you my ravioli recipe tonight but I have to translate the sauce recipe to English.”
“Wait the recipe isn’t in English.” Jake said astounded.
“Yeah, it in Italian.”
“So you speak Italian.” Andy asked.
“Yeah I speak Italian and four other languages fluently.”
“So you play thirty different instruments and speak five other languages.” Ashley said.
“Yes.”
“What instruments do you play?” Jinxx asked.
“Well I play a lot so I will tell you the ones I have upstairs. I have my basses, guitars, double bass drum kit, violin, key board and sound board.”
“That’s fucking awesome, not everyone can pull off a double bass drum kit.” CC said.
“How about AJ and I go clean the kitchen and then we can show you guys around the house.” I say getting up from my seat.
“No we can help, well at least Ash and I will.” Andy said as he and Ashley stood up and followed AJ and I into the kitchen.
We cleaned the kitchen really fast, since there were four of us. Ashley and I set up containers that they could each take home since there was still a lot of food left. Andy and AJ did all the dishes, Andy washing and AJ drying ad putting away. When everything was done we walked back outside.
“Hey guys if you want to get up we’ll show you around.” I say as I walk outside.
They all get up and follow Ash and I up the stairs since our hands were joined again. We went to my room, then AJ’s, the office, which the guys insisted on searching my desk, then we ended up in the music studio.
“You should play us something.” Andy says as he sits on one of the coaches.
“Okay, AJ could you please play the guitar for the song I wrote earlier this week?” I asked setting up all the mics and turned everything on.
“Yeah I can do that.” He said and the she got up.
We played the song I wrote after Ashley and I’s date. (If you forgot the lyrics go back to chapter 5) When we were done we walked out of the booth to see the guys all in awe.
“Wow you have a great voice; I would love to hear you play something.” Andy said speaking up first.
“I can play a song I composed earlier this week and then I can play the song with AJ sing if you guys want.” I say walking over to my computer.
“That was even better than the song I heard on Tuesday.” Ashley says then continues to ask “Have you full composed that song?”
“Yeah I’ll play that to.” I say hitting play on the first song.
When it was done I looked at the guys to see they were stunned by what I could do. No one spoke so I hit play on the song with AJ singing. After that song was done I hit play on my fully composed song. When it was done I said “Okay someone please speak, was I that bad.”
“Hell no and I think you play violin better than Jinxx.” CC said.
“I don’t know if I would agree with you CC but you defiantly have talent.” Jinxx says.
“I agree with Jinxx you have a lot of talent. Did you do all the instruments for both songs?” Jake asked.
“Yeah I did; I will do that sometimes. I will come up with lyrics for a song and then I will just do all the instruments and then I will edit a the song.” I say.
“I think you could possibly be better than Jinxx, but I think you two should play and we should judge you.” Andy said.
“What do you think Jinxx? Ready to be proven that you aren’t the best.” I say.
“Oh so you think your better than Me.” He said as he got up off the coach.
“I know I am; I’ve herd you Overture and I know I could do better.” I say knowing I would win since I learned from some of the greatest composers ever to live.
“Do you want to play classical or contemporary?” Jinxx asked.
“Well since we both have herd each other play contemporary; I think we should do classical.” I say as I pull out my two of my violins.
“Okay sounds good.”
“Here you go you can play my black one.” I say handing him my black violin as I pulled out my oldest violin that I original learned on.
“Wow that violin looks older than Mozart.” Andy said from the coach.
“That’s because it is.” I say as I get ready to play. Jinxx and I then went into the booth and readied to play. I let him go first knowing I could top whatever he played. When he finished I started; when I was done we both walked out.
“Okay you have to vote.” I say as I put away my violin.
“I say you won Kassy.” Ashley says looking right at me.
“Kassy.” AJ said since she knew I could blow her out of the water and she has as about as much experience as I do.
“KASSY WON.” CC shouted.
“I have to say Kassy I’m sorry Jinxx.” Andy said.
“I want to say Jinxx but Kassy was really good.” Jake said pausing before saying “I’m going to say Kassy is more classical and Jinxx is better at contemporary songs.”
“I guess I can take that since Kassy clearly blew me out of the water.” Jinxx said.
“Alright I think we should have some fun, play some songs and do some drinking.” Ashely said as he walks out of the room to go get the alcohol.
The rest of the night we sent playing whatever songs we wanted, I even did the drums for one of Black Veil Brides’ songs. At two in the morning Andy, Jake, Jinxx and CC went home leaving AJ, Ashley and I.
“I’m going to bed I’ll see you tomorrow Kassy.” And with that she went upstairs.
“I’m not tire yet and you are a little to buzzed to drive a bike home.” Say siting on the coach with Ashley and Nyx.
“Okay, I have a question.” Ash said petting Nyx.
“Okay go ahead and ask away.”
“I know we have only been on one date but I feel like I’ve known you forever. What I’m trying to say is will you be my girl?”
I was a little surprised but happy that he asked so I said “Yes I would be happy to.” He then kissed me more passionately them after our first date.
We sat up and talked for another hour till I started to fall asleep so I asked “Do you want to spend the night? I know you have dogs at home but I would love it if you could stay with me tonight.”
“I would love to just let me call my neighbor to let out the dogs and feed them.” He said as he pulled out his phone.
“I’m going to go put pj’s on and I will find you a pair of basketball shorts that don’t fit me.” Said getting up and letting Nyx out one last time before heading upstairs. When I got upstairs I through on my pj’s and found a pair of basketball shorts and a baggy band T for Ashley. I then herd him come up stairs.
“The dogs are all taken care of.” He said as he walked into the room.
“Okay, I got you some stuff to sleep in if you want to change in the bathroom.” I say as I hold up the cloths.
“Okay I will be right back.”
He went and changed while I got into bed with Nyx going to her own for the first time in a long time. When Ashley came back he put his clothes and shoes on the floor by the bed and then crawled in by me. He then gave me a kiss goodnight and pulled me by his side so I had my head on his chest. We then kissed one more time before we drifted off to sleep.
