The Rock Star Dream

I sigh again. this is the third time I've had to stop and fix something. "Jade," Matt starts and I give him dirty look because he cut me off, "Jade..., you need to relax a little. We don't know your songs and we are all trying to learn them but we cant do that and add our own flare to it if you become a dictator." he told me. I slid down to the floor and put my head in my hands.

So much has happened in the past few weeks; Andy and Juliet's break up, May and Ash on the rocks, less and less photo shoots, may's career is skyrocketing, and im just starting my dream....
"I'm sorry guys. I'm just a little stressed, I guess." is what I manage to say. Matt puts his hand on my back and pulls me up to my feet. "Hey! Baae... let's just jam for a bit using one of your songs as a general outline... okay. Just listen, love." I nod at matt and the band. They smile encouragingly and give me a second to breathe before they play.

I close my eyes as the music washes over me. I stopped listening to what I wanted to hear and heard them. The guys are so great at what they do. Matt was right, I should stop and relax. The music speaks to me. When they finished I jumped over to my mic and grabbed it. "Okay, again!" I demanded. The guys laughed and began to play. I belted out all of my frustrations and anxiety.
