Love-Hate

Chapter six

Andy's Point of View

"Dude wake up!" Jake said shaking me lightly. I cracked my eyes open the tiniest but the light coming through the windows was pounding me already.
I grunted and put my pillow over my eyes shielding away any light.
"What do you want Jake?" I asked sighing.
"Um we need to get off the bus, since tour is over. Plus they're pissed because there's a hole in the wall from when Ash brought that one chick back who had a macho boyfriend remember?" He chuckled making my laugh come out as muffled then last nights events came to me. I put my hand beside me expecting another body but feeling the coolness of the sheets. She's gone.
The last thing I remember telling her was that I still loved her and the kiss we shared then I was out like a light. Does she remember? I don't know. I slowly got up and slid out of my bunk. Catherine.
I didn't really have much to pack since I already packed away most of it earlier. I made my way to the bathroom, I regret drinking that much. It was a huge mistake on my part. I used the washroom then made my way back to the bunk areas. It was like she was never here.
All of her stuff was gone, considering she didn't bring much to begin with. It's been years since I seen her but as soon as I seen her all the feelings from high school came back and here I am trying to remember how the night went. I knew we slept together but I don't remember most of it.
I was still star struck that I finally seen her. Before we started drinking I tried to apologize but she didn't want to hear it and ran.
I hate myself still today over how bad I treated her, but she still slept with me does that mean she still has feelings for me? The asshole who ruined her graduation and her two last years of school, I doubt it.
But then I couldn't figure out a clear reason as to why she slept with me. I finished packing my stuff and called a taxi to pick me up.
"You know the rule. No one talk to me for a week, three months with you douche bags and I'm going to need a reality check." Ashley said to us making us laugh.
"Three months with you Ashley and anyone would need a reality check." Jinxx said making everyone agree with him.
"Screw you guys." He laughed and took a drink of water. My throat suddenly got dry at the thought of it. I'm hungover as shit and probably look like shit myself, I just wanted to go home, shower and sleep.
My cab pulled up and I said bye to everyone before going home.
It's weird to be home, usually I'd have somebody waiting for me but she said she couldn't handle doing long distance most of the relationship and left me. When I got to my house I paid the cab driver and left a tip since I probably smell of alcohol still, got my things from the trunk.
The only thing that went through my mind that whole day was Catherine. I need to talk to her, to ask if she remembers but the problem was I don't know where she is.
For all I know she could've left again to wherever but then I remember she came with Lindsay to the concert.
I wanted to call but another problem was I didn't know their house number by heart and my phone was dead. I put it on the charger and began unpacking my things, throwing the dirty clothes in the laundry basket and sorted out my shit.
My mind hasn't wrapped itself around the fact that I was in Catherine.
Okay, that sounded completely perverted but it's the best way to tell it. I remember her screaming my name like it just happened a few seconds ago.
Her voice was mesmerizing. I decided to lay down for a bit and clear my head, but just thinking about me touching her was exciting me and the way she touched me. I need to calm my hormones before someone gets hurt.
I bit my lip wanting to feel her lips on mine once again but I know I'll probably never get the chance since she probably hates my guts for ruining her. I closed my eyes for a few minutes which turned out into several hours. I don't feel that hung over but I guess with everything in my mind I zoned it out somehow.
I took off my pants and wore shorts instead feeling much better than my skinnys. I looked at my phone which was fully charged and picked it up.
I had a lot of notifications from my media sights. I ignored them for now and went to my contacts searching for Pete's contact. I pressed call and waited.

Catherine's Point of View

"I.." I couldn't bring myself to say it so I stayed quiet and naked next to Andy who was hugging me.
A few minutes went by in silence plus I heard light snoring coming from him. He's falling asleep so now I make my run for it. I quietly got out of his bunk and searched quickly for my things.
I was afraid Andy would wake up soon so I needed to get out. I opened the bus door and shut it quietly.
"Is this the walk of shame?" Someone asked me. I turned to see Christian Mora looking at me with a sly smile and his arms crossed.
"I'd like to think of it as revenge." I answered him.
"Revenge?" He questioned.
"Yep." I said popping the 'p'
"Why?" He frowned.
"For everything he put me through." I stated.
"Ah young high school memories. You do realize he'll remember the whole night." Christian said making me roll my eyes.
"Well whatever. Have you seen Lindsay. I'd like to go to the hotel." I asked him changing the subject.
"Yeah she's over there practically hanging off of Pete." He pointed to them around the fire laughing.
"Okay bye." I said hoping he'd get the message and let me go.
"Do you have feelings for Andy?" He asked.
"Nope. The only feelings I have for Andrew is hate." I replied.
"I find that hard to believe." He mumbled not convinced with my statement.
"Mark my words Christian, if someone treated you that shitty in school you'd have a bubble of hate for them too." "True but it's been years Catherine. When are you going to learn to forgive and forget. Andy has changed a lot, he matured. You know sometimes when he's being emotionally drunk he talks about you."
Wait what? I shook my head.
"Me?"
"Yep." He mocked me.
"He's all like 'man I treated her so badly. I wish I could tell her how much I'm sorry. I still love her blah blah blah' you get it right?" He said making my head spin more than it already is.
"You're lying." I whispered feeling a small blush on my face.
"Mark my words Catherine."
"Stop that." I said.
"Stop what?" He asked with a sneaky smile.
"Your impersonation of me." I replied shaking my head.
"And if I don't?" He asked.
"Ugh okay look Christian I'm tired so can we continue this another time?" I asked nicely, who am I kidding. I plan to never see them again.
"Sure. But I'll be waiting. Now that I know you're back there's no hiding from CC the great." He said cockily making me roll my eyes again.
"Bye." Was all I said before I went to bug Lindsay and Pete about going to the hotel.
They eventually gave in and we left. It was around three in the morning when we got to the hotel. Pete and Lindsay were being all touchy with each other so I got a separate room from them because I do want to sleep.
It was no use to get another hotel room because I still heard them going at it.
Sleep is useless to me now after all of the visionaries I had. But I guess I couldn't fight the sleep any longer because when I opened my eyes it was daylight outside.
I wasn't that hungover since I didn't drink that much but I still had that head ache. I got up and went into the bathroom to shower and pee.
I wish I had brought my toothbrush but for now I'd have to deal with the yucky taste in my mouth. I sighed when the hot water ran over my body, just what I needed.
My thoughts floated over to Andy.
Will he remember like what Christian said? What if he comes looking for me and tells me everything he said was true.
No, for all I know this could be one big dare.
A disaster waiting to happen with Andy. Do I feel anything for Andy? Of course not.
The only feeling I'm incapable of giving is hate. I should pretend I don't remember in order for Andy not to question me. It was a drunken mistake on his part, but the lovely revenge on mine.
Okay I'm sounding completely like a bitch I know but he needs to feel the pain he given me. I bit my bottom lip and washed out of my hair, oh damn I do have an extra pair of clothes! It's in Lindsay's bag!
I got excited because I dint have to wear that dress again. I put on robe and knocked on the connect door.
"Lindsay! Pete!" I shouted knocking even louder. A loud groan was heard followed by curses. I'm pretty sure I heard a muffled "you get it. It's Cat."
Then door opened and revealed Pete who looked like shit.
"I need my clothes they're in Lindsay bag." I said. Walking past him into the other room. It was dark in here not like my room but they were wasted so I don't blame them. I picked up her bag and grabbed my extra pair of clothes.
"Thanks." I whispered closing the door again. I spent the morning slowly getting ready and ordering room service.
I hadn't realized how hungry I was until the food came. By now Lindsay and Pete were making movement in the other room. Well not like that but probably getting ready.
I was just lazing around on my phone when Lindsay came walking through the connecting door, her hair was wet.
"Morning." She smiled plopping on the bed beside me.
"Good morning." I replied setting my phone on my stomach and closing my eyes. Last nights events still captivating my mind.
"So how was last night? I lost you." She asked.
"It was good. I um, slept with Andy." I confessed feeling my cheeks flush.
"What!? Seriously? How what is? Wait don't answer that.. What?" She rambled on.
"Yeah exactly that. I just don't know, I hate him so I don't know why I slept with him." I said scratching the back of my neck.
"You slept with him because you love him." Lindsay said like I was stupid.
"Mm I'm sure that's not it." I chuckled nervously. "If he does come around please tell him I'm not with you guys. I just don't know what I'll do if he came to your house." I pleaded.
"But you're going to have to talk about it sooner or later Cat. Why not now?" She said.
"Because I hate him."
"I find that hard to believe." She frowned.
"Just as long as you believe it.." I trailed off.
"Do you just want me to believe it so you will?" She asked stumping me on that question. Did I? Do I hate Andy? He ruined high school for me and ruined me. We were so happy. But it was all a dare.
"I don't know."
Later on we went back to our house, Pete's phone began ringing. I didn't stick around since it was his business so I went upstairs to brush my teeth and figure out what I plan on doing today.
I could always go look for a job or whatever.
Even though I have enough money I want to occupy myself because I'll be bored. When I was done brushing my teeth Pete met me in the hallway and handed me his phone.
"It's for you." Was all he said before running down the stairs. I was confused but I put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" I whispered. Someone sighed in relief.
"Catherine." He said making me freeze in my spot.
"Andy?" I asked softly.
"Do you um remember last night?" He asked. I bit my lip pretending to remember.
"Not really." I lied.
"What happened?" Andy sighed again.
"I wanted you to remember yourself Catherine." I do remember, I remember everything.
"What happened?" I asked louder this time.
"I don't want to tell you over the phone. Can we meet up over dinner or something?" Andy said making me close my eyes. I walked into my room.
"I don't know. Andy, I hate-"
"I know you do Catherine, please don't keep reminding me." He said with hurt laced into his voice. It made me feel something I didn't want to, regret.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
"Please. I need to talk to you." He pressed.
Making me want to hang up there and then.
"Not right now Andy." I breath out.
"If it's so important then why don't you just tell me."
"Because I want to see you in person." He said quickly.
"I don't know if you can."
"Please." I blinked away a few tears.
"I'm sorry Andy. I said not right now. I need to clear my head as to why you're calling me and why it's so urgent."
"Catherine."
"Andy."
"Please." He begged.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because why?"
"Because I said I can't." I felt myself becoming frustrated.
"That's not a proper answer Catherine."
"Because I remember the whole night okay? I remember everything so why should you tell me something I already know!?" I shouted before realizing what I had said. Andy stayed quiet for a moment.
A few minutes passed by, it was silent before I realized it was dead silent. He hung up on me.
