The Puppet Master

November 19th.

I woke up this morning to my mother's voice whispering "Look alive sunshine." and my brother and dad joining in to sing the intro to Na Na Na in an attempt to wake me up.
It's always this way -silence between me and my mother, until Clar and dad return, then the music fills the air and we laugh and dance.
As per usual, I played at being stubbornly asleep as they all leaned closer, waiting to scream "Killjoys, make some noise!" and scare them. They always fell for it.

We spent the journey home in relative silence. My head hurt, and dad and Clar didn't want to talk about the army, so we enjoyed the comfortable quiet whilst it lasted.

We also visited grandma, and she actually recognised me! I made sure I said thanks to her for telling Ashley to look out for me.
Apparently BVB are going to test us - to see how our poweres are developing - tomorrow night (so our minds can rest).

Mom and dad are out tonight, so Clar is planning a party. I hope Stuart can come.

For the first time in forever, I am also glad of a throbbing head, but I hope it is gone by tonight - my brother's parties are amazing, and I hate to miss even a second with him.
