The Puppet Master
Summary
Emilie and Jenny are two girls from separate countries who can't possibly have met in reality, and yet, they keep having the exact same dream about each other.
When Emilie stumbles across a captivating fan-fiction on Tumblr about her favorite band - Black Veil Brides - she unknowingly befriends Jenny.
Soon the two become friends and begin discussing their dreams, quickly realizing their miraculous link.
The friends discover that they can control their dreams and enter those of others as well as accessing other dimensions, and hatch a plan together, but forget one vital thing - people are not always as they seem and their plan gone awry could have wonderful yet devastating consequences for everyone.
Characters
(Doctor) Daniel West PHD
Emilie's psychiatrist and friend. He would probably be better suited to model, rather than psychiatrist- but he wants to help people. He is the only person aside from Jenny that she can turn to, but is her trust in him misplaced? (He does not really show up until the end.)
Andy Biersack
Charismatic, funny and confident, Andy can command a room and inspire easily. He is generally quite modest but takes compliments well. He jokes around a bit but is serious when he needs to be. He always puts others first.
Ashley Purdy
Sexy as hell and awesome with it. He comes across as a womanizing jerk but truly does have a heart of gold that he always keeps firmly on his sleeve. He is a good friend and will always listen. He often has friendly arguements with Emilie
Christian (CC) Coma
Always the joker and sometimes at inappropriate moments. He often doesn't realize his own power - not only physically, but as a person too - and it can have both a positive and negative effect. Think of a super nice and lazy P.E teacher who's perpetually drunk, then you're getting somewhere.
Clarence Brighton
Emilie's 19 year old brother who is also in the army. He is very protective of his sister
Clarence's friends
Stuart, 17 and Emilie's love interest. There's also Evan, who is the comic relief of the group but is often prejudice. Drew is the quiet one who likes to hang out in the background.
Emilie (Em) Brighton
(Pronounced Emily) A 16 year old British girl who learns she has a terrifying gift with a stunning potential after she befriends Jenny. She has a sharp tongue and likes to goad Ashley. She hates most authority which often calls her loyalties into question, and even she must ask: Can she be trusted, or is power all too tempting?
Emilie's family
Her father, Damon, is a soldier in the British army. Her mother is Audrey who is a stay at home mom. Her Grandmother (on her mom's side) is Elizabeth and she has altzheimers. Lucille (deceased) was Audrey's sister.
Jake Pitts
Jake is often under appreciated, but honestly, the guys would be nothing without him. Jake is the culminating piece, the cherry on top- but he is also vital in holding them all together. Jake is very much an advice giver, not so much for Emilie and Jenny, but he usually helps the boys out.
Jenny Bauer
A 14 year old girl from germany. Sometimes shy - sometimes out-going and loud. Jenny is in general a nice person, but can't control her temper. If someone does/says something wrong she gets very angry and often forgets the limit - which causes questions about her reliability.
Jeremy (Jinxx) Ferguson
Quiet and sweet, but he can have a foul temper towards anyone who hurts the people her cares about. He's very understanding and can offer some amazing advice. Just because he's a bit quiet, don't be deceived - he is usually just observing and knows how to have a good time.
