Let Shadows Die

Hope was suprised for a momet. "You mean I can't die?"
"Well you can but it would have to be something serious. You can't get sick or seriously ill, but if you were to be shot or stabbed you could still die. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before."
"It's ok. But you could still change me if I wanted it couldn't you?"
"Yes, but I would want to make sure you really wanted it first. Once you're changed there's no going back."

They both fell silent. Hope wanted to be with Andy more than anything, but she knew eventually she would have to make the change. She wasn't going to do it anytime soon, but she would someday.

The next morning as they left the bus and began setting up for that night's show, Hope walked around trying to stretch her legs. She had been sitting for too long and she felt stiff. She and Ella spent the day talking and goofing off. Ella was leaving today for a photo shoot somewhere. She would be gone for a week. Hope would miss her. As they said goodbye, Andy came up to her.
"Hey, babe, everything is set up for tonight. Do you wanna go get something to eat before we have to come back?" He asked, kissing the top of her head.
"Sounds great. I'm starving."

After they got back from lunch, Hope met Lauren, CC's girlfriend. Lauren didn't know the guys' secret so Andy told her not to mention anything.

It seemed strange to pretend everything was normal. She wondered how long they would be able to keep up the charade. She was sure that CC going out late at night would raise Lauren's suspitions on what exactly he was doing,but, as the week went on, she didn't seem to notice. When she asked Andy about it, he explained that sometimes during meet and greets at the shows, they took the time to feed. It was how he kept Juliet from finding out for so long.

She realized that even though she knew what Andy was, she still didn't know much about his kind. She was hoping that she would get some alone time with him soon so she could ask some questions without the chance of Lauen overhearing. If not she could always wait until they got to the next hotel, but that was still a few days away. Either way there were things she needed to know.
