The Order of the Black Veil
Summary
The Battle for the World is on.
Deep in the heart of Neverend, a continent known for the lush green grass and its resources, lies a darkness of a most evil nature. When King Lydion's home and city are attacked by undead in the dead of night, he knew things had to change. The Order of the Black Veil, having been disbanded and banned from the country of Alavardian, is reinstated and called upon once more.
What happens when you team up a stubborn swordsman, a charismatic elven archer, a human Bard, a quiet elven healer, and a chaotic but pleasant human pyromancer?
You create the Elite Guard of The Order; the ones who sent the Demon Balthazeer to his permanent resting place within the cores of the Earth.
But when the Great Demon Markesh, once a mage known for ending the Mage rebellions of the Fourth Century, is cast out from his prison, the only army able to stem the tides of war are the most unlikely however necessary men, and women, ever.
Can Master Biersack and his band of 9 other warriors turn back the hands of evil and save their home as they know it?
Or will temptation and darkness rain down upon them.
Characters
Ashley "Ashe" Purdy
27 - Captain of the Silver Hand, a band of ranger assassin mercenaries. Hails from the town of Dragonmeadow, a day's travel from Woodham, the Capital of Greentower. It elven in race, and quite the lady's man. His mother and sibling were killed in a raid, and father no where to be found.
Christian "CC" Coma
25 - the youngest of five and was a pill as child; energetic and curious. Discovered his magic abilities at the age of 3. Hailing from Barrow's Mill in Hardonell, attending the school near by was an ease for his parents. He has mastered his abilities and now teaches other pyromancers how to harness their gift.
Great Demon Markesh
Once known as the Great Mage Markesh, Gideon Markesh aided in ending the battle between the mage and the common man. After the power and fame went to his head, the negative energy twisted him into a demonic being, and the Goddess Dremana damned him to his prison for all eternity. A rogue band of necromancers released him from his prison.
Jinxx
24 - Currently training to become a Master of Healing and Illusion, Jinxx lives full time at the Circle of Magic, the Mage's School in Vrostead, city south of Criphia in Hardonell. Originally hailing from Ashgate, a town in Crystal Grace. Is an only child
King Lydion Varell
Following the passing of his father, Lydion wanted to change the world for the good of his people, along with neighboring countries. Alavardian has florished under his rule, and his reinstating the Order of the Black Veil. His Queen, Liona, hails from Crystal Grace, the country across the Ocean of Bengol.
Master Andrew Biersack
22 - son of the King's most trusted adviser and training to become part of the Castle Guard; is skilled in the arts of sword and shield. Hails from Ashview, a decent sized town a few miles outside of Fairsea, capital of Alavardian. Is the eldest child of three.
Sir Jacob Pitts
25 - son of the head master of the Hall of Sons, the Bard's college in Criphia, the head city of Hardonell. Master of the arts of pickpocketing, lockpicking, and, of course, lute; he is a Rogue (bard) after all. Has knowledge of poison making as well. The eldest of six; his mother passed away during child birth when he was 12.
