Justine?
As soon as she said that I got concerned, but I let her go into the room. She didn’t shut the door, so that was a plus. I sat there and turned on the TV. I looked over and saw that her eyes were still open, but she looked majorly depressed. I sighed and got up.
“What’s up?” I asked sitting down next to her.
“Nothing I’m just really tired…” She said.
“Bullshit! Now sit up and explain to me what’s really going on.” I said pulling her up.
“What if I gave up for nothing and just made them play? What if they don’t think I’m good enough anymore? What if my own brother kicks me out? What if even if we do win I’m still not allowed to play?”
“Way too many ‘if’s going on there… You took a chance to make sure that their voices would be heard and not just your own. And you didn’t give up! Look at what you started, you’ve inspired a group of people to stand up for what they believe in and I say that that’s not giving up… that’s giving hope.” She leaned on my shoulders and I played with her hair. After a while she looked up at me.
“Thank you Andy…” I smiled.
“No problem. I’ll be back in a second I need to make a few quick calls…” She nodded and laid down. I walked out of the room and down to Danny’s. Before I could even knock the door swung open.
“ANDY!” I saw Danny but it wasn’t him who screamed.
“KELLIN!” I yelled pushing Danny out of the way. We ran towards each other in slow mo. And then we hugged each other.
“God, I need to find myself other people to hang out with…” Danny said.
“Hey!” Kellin and I said at the same time.
“Anyways… How’s Jay?” Danny asked.
“She’s better, a little bit depressed. But you know good…” I answered.
“Who’s Jay? I thought you were dating Juliet…” Kellin said confused.
“I am… CC’s dating Jay.”
“Oh… Wait! WHAT? CC HAS A GIRLFRIEND?” Kellin yelled.
“Yeah.” Danny said, sarcasm dripping from the comment, “Andy, has she…?”
“No, but she might and I know she’ll try… I just left her in her bed alone, but I have to get back to her and keep an eye on her…”
“Wait she…” I simply nodded at Kellin.
“Anyways I was going to say we need a party before we leave tomorrow, so get the bands to come to my room down the hall.”
“Okay. What time?” Danny asked.
“Where’s Kellin?” I asked before I could answer.
“He does that a lot! Damn I can’t believe I lost him again!” Danny yelled as he started cursing.
“You find him and I need to get back to Jay…”
“You sound like you’re her older brother…”
“That’s Blade’s job.” I said and ran out of the room.
Kellin’s POV:
I ran out of Danny’s room and down the hall once I heard that Jay self harmed. I stopped at the door that was open. I had to say something to her, and check on her. I didn’t want Andy to be talking to Danny and Jay not having anyone there for her. I saw a girl laying on her bed wrapped in a million blankets.
“Justine!”
“What… Where’s Andy?” She asked me looking slightly out of it.
“Andy is talking to Danny and I ran here, I’m Kellin by the way!” I stuck out my arm intending for her to shake it, but she didn’t even look up, “Okay I know something’s up, what’s wrong?”
“My head hurts… I didn’t know what to do, I just… my mind just… and then…” She couldn’t get the words out of her mouth, that was when I caught on to what happened. I grabbed Jay’s arm and saw a huge gash that wouldn’t stop bleeding. She had a warm washcloth pressed against it, but it wasn’t helping. I lifted her up just in time to see Andy charge through the door. He stopped as soon as he saw Jay in my arms. Almost as if time just stood still.
“Jay!” It sounded as if it was held out for ever. Slowly he ran his hand through his hair and fell to the floor. The music that was once playing in the other room stopped. I heard each instrument fall and clatter ontop of one another.
“Justine!” A boy yelled running into the room a girl and a guy held his arms back. Nobody knew what to do.
“Somebody call 911!” Jinxx yelled. I saw Juliet on the phone. CC was devastated, he was a mess.
“AHHH!!” He screamed slaming the door and kicking that wall. He got so destructive; it was scary. In a few minutes I saw the ambulence come. Men ran inside. Still everything was in slowmo. They lifted her up and placed her on a stretcher. Her arm was tied tightly with gauze and they put an oxygen mask over her face.
“Blood relatives only…” The guy said monotone. Instantly I saw the two guys and one girl that I didn’t recognize run to the van. CC and the guys got up also.
“Let me guess you’re all going to say that you’re her brother?” The man asked the new question. All of Black Veil Brides nodded their heads in unison.
“Okay… hop in the ambulance…” When they were almost fully in the ambulance pulled away and drove as fast as it could. The sirens faded and the audience dispersed.
