CC needs to calm the fuck down
I slid down against the wall. I’m pretty sure that I banged my head a good 20 times. My phone rang it was Andy.
“Hey Blade…”
“Andy! I thought you were with my sister…” I said slightly relived yet frustrated that he wasn’t with Jay.
“I was but she needed water, so there I went. She’s going to be okay don’t worry about her, Jay is a tough girl.”
“I know that but… Blood? That’s never happened before… and Jinxx told me to stay here. I just-“ He cut me off.
“She’s going to be fine, just check on Ash. Jinxx said he was panicking before he came to help me.”
“Sure, please keep me updated…” With that we hung up and I ran to Ash’s room.
“Ashley?” I called, but all I got in response was the sound of vomit hitting the toilet. Not him too…
“Ash, are you okay?” I asked holding back his hair. He shook his head no in response. I grabbed the cup on the counter and filled it with water. After a while he looked up at me.
“Thanks dude…”
“No problem man.”
“It’s just I heard what was happening and then I just didn’t feel good because Jay is like my sister and…” I nodded and helped him up.
“Don’t tell anyone please?” Ashley gave me pleading eyes, I just nodded again. We walked out of the room back to my band.
“Jagger you got it!” I heard Matt yell.
“So all of us practice now?” I asked. Niki cheered and Ashley smiled holding his cup of water.
“FIVE… FOUR… THREE… TWO… ONE!” Matt yelled.
“Some friends you left me hangin’ in a room with a noose and a chair. You told me to stay put and reminded me why I was there…” Jagger started. Niki joined in on the chorus.
“Be honest, did you ever mention my name? Did you get sick of the shame? Did you lie on your back? Be honest, Did you ever mention my name? Did you get sick of the shame? Did you lie on your back like a whore?”
“You guys are great, thank god they don’t know about all of you staying with us…” Ash said. I smiled, because it was true. If they knew about us staying with Black Veil Brides we would be done for and that means all that Justine worked for would be thrown out the window. My phone started ringing.
“Hey Blade, Andy again… Did you check on Ashley?”
“Yeah man, he’s fine. Just a little freaked out about what was happening…”
“I’m carrying Jay back upstairs, she’s really tired. Jinxx went somewhere… I think he said something about toast? Not sure but I’ll be upstairs any second.” He said into the phone.
“Sounds good, I’ll undo the bed for her. What should I tell CC?”
“Nothing, Jinxx will handle it don’t worry.”
“Okay see you soon.” I said hanging up the phone.
Jinxx’s POV:
I handed Jay to Andy. He threw me a questioning look and all I could do was point in the general direction I was planning on heading in. I needed to take a walk, I needed to clear my mind. Andy has his notebooks, Ash has his girls, CC is well CC, and Jake plays his guitar, and I… well I go on walks. I never know where I plan on ending up, usually it’s some place familiar but this time, this time it’s different. A girl that I treat like my daughter was just throwing up blood; I must of seemed calm, cool and collected right? Well on the inside I was a mess. My heart was racing, my mind was only thinking the worst, and I almost fainted. Like anybody else seeing people throw up makes me uneasy. I ended up walking straight into a Duane Reade and I ended up lifting up a bottle of Pepto Bismol.
“Excuse me?” I asked the man at the pharmacy.
“Yes, sir how may I help you?”
“My sister, when she gets really uncomfortable, has really bad stomach issues and starts throwing up. What do you recommend?”
“I recommend that you bring her to a doctor, but in the mean time if her stomach feels gassy I would recommend the Pepto Bismol.” I nodded and paid for the bottle in my hands.
“Thank you.”
“Any time.” I left the store and headed back to the hotel.
Once I got back I noticed that Jay was sleeping in bed, so I left the medicine next to her. Then I walked into the lounge. CC was watching Dora the Explorer… again.
“CC can I talk to you?”
“Yeah man, what’s up?”
“It’s about Jay…”
“What happened on that walk? Because Andy and Blade have been avoiding me, and I deserve to know! I’m her fucking BOYFRIEND for christ’s sake!” He yelled.
“Calm down, let’s go outside so you don’t wake her…” I led him out of the room and into the hallway.
“Talk.” He said once we were there. This wasn’t the carefree CC I knew, this was someone who was head over heels and would do anything for his girlfriend. And it was kind of scary.
“Well after she calmed you down… Niki told her about a problem with the competition. She was given a choice as you know. And she picked the one that let her band play. Well once Matt and Fear the silence started talking music she and Andy were talking and then went for a walk. Andy seeing how uncomfortable she was offered the idea. They went down to the lobby and she didn’t feel to well, and Andy brought her to the bathroom where she started throwing up. It lead to a point where it was just blood and it wouldn’t stop. And that’s where I come in. Andy called me for help, and I told Blade to stay here and check on Ashley, because he overheard everything and panicked. She’s fine now, but she’s very tired…” He just nodded trying to comprehend everything.
“Do you think that she’ll break her streak?” He whimpered.
“I have no idea, but you have to be there for her she needs a good CC in her life.” He nodded and we walked back inside.
“One more thing… why wasn’t Andy or Blade telling me this?”
“I was scared that you would beat me up…” Blade said.
“I don’t think I would of…”
“Trust me you would of…” Andy said.
Justine’s POV:
I woke up with a burning throat. Wait how did I get here, in my bed? Oh yeah Andy… CC was sitting in the chair watching me.
“What are we in a hospital or something?” I asked.
“No, but I just wanted to be here when you woke up!” He argued.
“Well I love you for doing that…” I said as he climbed ontop of me and kissed me.
“Please don’t make me feel like I’m going to loose you ever again, okay?” He whispered into my ear. I nodded.
“I promise!” I said as loud as I could muster up.
“Woah! I guess this was a bad time?” Sammi said from the door. CC blushed and rolled off of me and onto the other side off the bed.
“No… Nope… Nada… Not at all!” He said stammering.
“Aw that’s cute! CC getting embarrassed for kissing his girlfriend in front of his friends!” I heard Juliet squeel.
“NO I’M NOT!” He yelled. I just laid there and smiled.
“We wanted to check on our little girly…” Sammi said.
“I’ll be outside if you need anything!” CC said practically skipping out.
