Escaping Grace

Oli Oli Oxenfreee

The weekend was an absolute blast. I loved every minute of it, and I doubted I had ever had so much fun with Andy. Well, that technically wasn't true.
"Did you know they offer seventy different breakfast choices?" I asked him, laying on the bed as he brushed his teeth, a towel wrapped around his wonderfully slim waist.
"We're never even awake for breakfast." he answered through the half open door of the bathroom.
After a very nice shower together, I should have been exhausted, especially since we walked all over the conference center. I know I had probably babbled my tongue off to poor Andy, but he'd taken it really well; even if he had no idea what I was talking about.
"But at least we have options," I rolled over onto my stomach absently, flipping through the menu. "They have full course meals too. Hell, they're expensive."
"Leah, we're rockstars. It's not like we're broke."
"Still." I flipped a page. "Expensive."
I pursed my lips, flipping to the dinner menu.
"You wanna eat in? They have chicken."
"Do you ever not eat chicken?" Andy stepped out of the bathroom, his hair half-dried and messy. He paused a split second as he stepped out, and for a brief moment just looked at me.
"What?" I asked, suddenly self-conscious. I wasn't wearing a shirt, but I'd pulled the sheet up high enough where it didn't show my scars.
"Nothing," Andy shook his head, and crawled over the bed to me, pressing a warm kiss to my neck. "You just look like an angel."
I rolled my eyes. "Don't be silly, Andy. Now, what do you want to eat?" I perused the options.
"Just pick something," he kept his lips on my neck, and I shivered as they nibbled their way to my shoulder.
"I'll pick chicken," I warned him, and I felt him grin against my skin as his fingers slipped beneath the sheet, warm as they glided against the skin of my lower back.
"You," he kissed my cheek, "can pick," he bumped my nose with his, "whatever you want."
His lips caught mine, and his teeth tugged at my lower lip. I turned, making it easier, and raised a hand to the nape of his neck, my fingers curling into his damp hair.
I suppose dinner could wait.
Andy turned until I was on my back, and his fingers glided deliciously low, skimming across my stomach. His lips stayed locked with mine as I tugged on his towel.
There was a sudden knock on the door, and Andy pulled away with an annoyed growl.
God, was Ashley here?
"Who is it?" he demanded, and I sighed; so much for not being interrupted.
"Room service."
"We didn't order any!"
"Says here you did."
That voice was too familiar.
Andy and I looked at each other, and then he slid off the bed. He tossed me a shirt and then pulled on a pair of his jeans before he went to answer the door.
And here I had so enjoyed not having to wear clothes.
I nabbed my pajama shorts out of the floor, wiggling into them before Andy opened the door and Oli strolled in casually, holding two pizzas, a bag, a two-liter of Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper, and a carryout box that smelled suspiciously like ---.
"Is that KFC?" I demanded, reaching immediately. Oli grinned, and handed me the box.
Oh my God he brought KFC. And it was all legs. And potatoes. And biscuits. And this box was definitely all mine. IT EVEN HAD GRAVY.
"Dude, what are you doing here?" Andy asked as Oli sat the pizzas on the table.
"Well, I figured my party probably wore you out earlier --- and, dude, I know you just wanted a weekend with your girl, but you gotta remember your guys, too, am I right, Leah?"
I just looked at him, half a biscuit currently in my mouth. "Exactly." Oli continued like I'd agreed with him. "And I have
n't seen you since Warped. Soo --- I figured I'd crash your lovefest. But I brought forgiveness food."
Andy didn't look impressed, but he also hadn't tried the chicken legs yet.
"Leah, babe, am I forgiven?" Oli turned to me with a puppy face, pressing a hand against his chest.
"Only of you can magically produce a spoon and some napkins."
He magically did from the white bag of plastic that also beheld plates. Best. Weekend. Ever.
"You know you forfeited all KFC when you gave her the box right?" I heard Andy ask as he opened the Mtn. Dew, pouring half the bottle into a solo cup.
"Yeah, I did."
"How did you know what I liked?" I asked, frowning at him around my spoon of potatoes.
"I googled you," Oli shrugged, looking a tad embarrassed. "There was an interview you did with Bryan Stars where you raved about KFC and twizzlers for twenty minutes. I figured it would win you over."
Clever.
"Which reminds me," Oli turned to Andy. "How can you date a girl who drinks wine and Dr. Pepper together?"
Andy snorted. "You have no idea at her food combinations. That's the least of it."
"Just because you don't like my twizzlers and popcorn ---." I started.
Andy popped the remaining half of biscuit in my mouth.
"Where do you put it all, anyway? Does your survival consist of only sweets? Is that all the calories you get?" Oli glanced me over curiously. "You're so small."
I frowned, but I was still eating biscuit and my mouth was too dry to answer. I waved my hand for the Dr. Pepper Andy had knowingly poured for me; he knew me way too well.
"I have a good metabolism." I finally managed, coveting the remaining Dr. Pepper. "And I didn't get to eat all this amazing food before I came out here. My family was hardcore homecooking. So I enjoy it now."
"Yeah, I read somewhere how bitchy your family was." Oli plopped down casually on the edge of the bed, a piece of pizza in his hand. "Must've sucked."
Right. I glanced over at Andy, and he was glaring steadily at Oli.
I fidgeted, and then turned, reaching for my phone as the screen lit up; Vale was asking for a update. Her parents must be driving her crazy. Right now she was demanding too... What?
"Did you post pictures of us at your party?" I demanded, staring at Oli.
"Maybe. I do at all of my parties." he gave me a wary look. "When did you take pictures?!"
"There's cameras everywhere. it's a given. Besides, when other famous people party with me, I gotta post pics," he flicked me on the knee. "It brings in more clientele."
"Clientele my ass," I muttered, smacking his hand away; he was way too touchy.
"Look, Oli man, as much as I appreciate you stopping by, this really was a weekend for me and Leah." Andy was giving the face. "We leave tomorrow so we don't exactly have a lot of time to chill."
"All right," Oli threw his hands in the air, "don't get uptight, man. I can take a hint."
No, he really couldn't.
He hopped to his feet. "But I do intend for you guys to chill with me and the guys some time before you head off on tour. Oh, and we need to talk business when you get back to your studio." he was gradually moving to the door.
"Of course," Andy walked to the door, opening it and motioning him outward.
Oli grinned as he stepped out the door, and he turned, saying something to Andy before disappearing down the hall.
"I hope you thanked him for the food," I said. "And if all your friends are going to bring KFC when they visit i feel like I should meet more of them."
