Lost It All (On Hold)
Chapter 9
I get in the car with Shanel right on my heels. How dare that bitch just waltz right up and start insulting me? I've had enough of her.
"Hello? Earth to Maddy? Come in Maddy, come in." Shanel waved a hand in front of my face to get my attention.
"I'm fucking in, alright?" I said as I started up the car. "I just didn't want that thing right in my face at 7:30 in the morning."
"I asked if you were sure..." She mumbled, staring blankly out the window. I just sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry. But, on the bright side, I think we just earned some respect. Put Macee in her place." I smiled, looking over at her. She gave me a weak smile and turned back to the window. "Shanel, I don't want to spend the rest of our time here fighting. Can't we just forgive and forget?" I pleaded.
"Sure, only cuz I love ya too much." She said and leaned over to give me a hug. I returned the hug since we were in the parking lot of the school. "Love ya too." I smiled and turned to get out of the car, only to be blocked by Macee and the Bitch Crew.
"What did you say about me earlier? My mouth has ever once been attached to Carson's mouth." Macee spat, glaring at me.
"Just shut the fuck up and watch Makana. I hear that she has her eye on Chase..." I smirk and saunter off, linking my arm with Shanel's. We start to walk off but I get yanked back by someone pulling on my arm.
"Did I say I was done with you?" Macee says, pulling on my arm harder.
"A few day's ago, you said you didn't want to touch a skank's arm. Remember? Oh wait, your mind is to clouded with getting laid to even remember what two plus two is." I defend myself and take my arm back.
"You little bitch. How dare you call me a slut!" She hollered. By this time, a crowd had formed a little circle around us.
"Oh, you should know I only speak the truth." I calmly speak, earning a few "Oooh"'s and "Burn"'s from the students.
"Back off and we won' have a problem. Alright?"
"Oh, we're backing off all the way to California, Macee. When? Sunday. So stop being a bitch to us. We'll be out of your hair tomorrow after school." I say, grabbing Shanel's arm and taking her to our lockers. Luckily, ours are right next to eachother's.
"Can you believe her? That cunt." I mutter under my breath, loud enough for only Shanel to hear.
"Maddy, just calm down. She'll have it in for us today and tomorrow, but we just need to ignore her. Remember, we are going to a BVB concert Saturday night." She whispered, sounding very excited.
"Yeah..." I sighed happily. I had been wanting to go one of their concerts the first night I had heard of them.
"See? Your happier already. Just keep that in mind all day today and tomorrow and you'll be fine. Need me? Just text me. Alright?" I nodded and grabbed my books for the day.
"See you at lunch." I said as I walked past her to my math class. Today was going to be a long day...
