Shortly after our visit with Blake and Juliet, the kids and I went home. The kids went over to Ricky's house, Rick wanted to hear how the dinner went with Blake. When they left I went upstairs and laid on the bed next to Alex.

He chuckles, "what was that for?" He asks. I shrug and get out of the tub. I wrap my robe around me and walk downstairs. I grab a bottle of wine and walk back into the bedroom. Alex sits on the bed and I sit beside him. I open the bottle taking a sip and hand it to Alex. He takes a sip and whispers, "I love you." And hands me the bottle.

"Thank you." I say taking another sip. He stares at me and I get up and go into the closet. I put on my batman pyjamas. I walk back out to see Alex with his arms crossed. "What?" I ask.

"You didn't say I love you." He says.

"Come on Alex, you know I do."

"Then why won't you just say it?"

"I have since I said yes to your proposal fourteen years ago, I don't have to tell." He shakes his head and leaves the room. I put on End Of The World by Juliet and walk down the hall. I grab Alex by the arm and pull him back to our room. I put his arms around my waist and my arms around his neck. "I love you." But I'm not in love with you. I need to end this before I change my mind.
