The Moment

Hailey's POV
"How is he going to pay for it?" Rain asked.
"Oh, well maybe his permission to stay out with the guys all night may be withdrawn, or some other ways. There's so many possibilities."
"We're going to still... um, you know...?" CC asked as he walked up beside me.
Before I could even answer Rain shouted 'No CC you can't'.
Which of course made CC quietly apologize to Max, hoping that he would be able to still get some because of it.
"Sorry Max..." CC mumbled to his 'opponent'.
Wow, when you have a vagina you really do have power.
I always thought my friends were lying when they said that... Guess not.
"Oh the power of vaginas!" Max laughed.
Soon after Skylar struts over to us, obviously drunk, and starts whispering something to Rain.
I got a little closer and heard her mention something about something called Set It Off.
That sounds really familiar, where have I heard that before.
Oh, Fuck, that's where I've heard that.
It's a rookie band that Rain is really into because she became friends with the bassist when she lived in Florida with her aunt for a while.
I think they had a thing for a while, or maybe I imagined that.
But honestly, what is with her and bassists. Like she is always is meeting some bassist.
Rain walks away with Skylar and goes to the sound system.
After some scrolling a new song comes on, and the two return.
"What song is this?" I asked, nodding to the catchy beat.
"Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by Set It Off, good isn't it? My friend Austin plays bass for them."
"I was right when I was mentally thinking that then!' I happily said.
It's rare that I'm actually right.
After the song finished Skylar wandered away and Max inched closer to Rain.
I look away for a second and when I look back Max is trying to touch Rain's ass.
That's so not cool, she's obviously with Ashley and Max knows that too.
"Hands off Max." Rain warned while turning to show Ash this bad ass bracelet she made out of rubber bands.
I thought that it was awesome how she figured out how to make simple things into something badass.
Andy wallked off earlier to go figure out where Juliet had went, but he must have come back right when Max touched Rain's ass.
Being that the music was too loud and he was slightly far away, Andy couldn't hear Rain's warning to Max.
I'm pretty sure he still would have said something to Max even if he did hear her though.
"Hey, I'm not going to tolerate that kind of shit, Max. Even if this is Rain's house I will not hesitate to throw you out." Andy said harshly.
Mamma Jinxx decided to add in his opinion, and that's where things started tumbling out of control.
"Max, that isn't cool. She's obviously with Ashley." spoke Jinxx.
"Hey, there ain't nothing wrong with a little flirting. Isn't that right Hailz?" Max chuckled while smacking my ass.
"Only Rain and I get to call her that!" Yelled CC. His blood almost literally boiling out of how mad he is.
Jacky walks into the room, not knowing the feud that is going on is actually happening.
"Hey loves ho-... oops.. seems like a bit of an issue is going on. I'll come back later." Jacky quickly spoke," see you later girls and guys."
With that Jacky was gone, and we no longer had an extra man to help us with the Max issue.
"I'm so sorry about Max, Andy." Craig apologized.
I don't know why he's apologizing, it's not like its any of his fault that Max decided to start acting like this.
None of us could have possibly known he would do this.
Andy's POV
"Its not your fault Craig." I told him, trying to make him feel better.
Of course, because of his current mood, Ashley decides to take the harsher approach to this.
"Why the fuck are you saying sorry to Andy when mine and CC's girls are getting hit on." He said rudely.
"I was getting there!" Craig defended, " I'm really sorry guys, I'll take him home."
Max isn't going to have any of that...
"LIKE HELL YOU WILL!" Max screeched.
See, I was right.
"Max, I really thought you were my friend." Rain said sadly.
" And I really thought you weren't such a prude." He retorted.
Oh... that's not cool, and that's really going to make Rain feel worse about all of this.
Rain's POV
"And I really thought you weren't such a prude." He said.
Is that really what he thinks of me now?
I haven't even done anything to him, hell I was defending him!
I couldn't take anymore of it.
I walked away, and as I left all I could hear was fighting and music behind me.
"Rain, Babe, come back." Ash said, but I ignored him and went to my room.
I go to my drawer and pull out my blade.
"hello, old friend, I'm back again."
