The Moment

Rain's POV
“So I know I already asked you out, but I’m not satisfies with how I did it. Can I have a re-do?” Ash Asked.
“You sure are a strange one, Mr. Purdy. Yes, you can have a re-do.”
"Rain, I honestly have real feelings for you. I've never really had feelings like this for anyone, and it scares me, like a lot. But I don't care, I want to be scared and confused if it means being with someone as amazing as you" Ash said.
His eyes were looking straight into mine, and when someone looks into my eyes I know if they're lying or not.
He wasn’t lying, and that made me overwhelmingly happy.
"I have real feelings for you too, Ash." I said quietly.
He cracked a small smile.
"Be my girl?"
"Yes, I will be your girl, your Purdy girl," I replied with a smile "now are you happy with how you asked me out."
"Yes, extremely."
And with that Ash's lips find their place on my lips once again, but our alone time was cut short when we heard a few people walk in.
"Hey guys! I brought a surprise guest!" Jake shouted from the front door.
Oh god, all the food we just made is going to be gone.
We waited for Jake to show us who this guest is, but all I could hear was him and probably Jinxx shushing the unknown guest.
This made my curiosity peak.
"MMM. I smell something good cooking up in here. What is it?" spoke the unknown guest.
Hmmm, his voice isn't familiar...
"Um... food?" I said sarcastically.
"Oh really? I thought it was some nice, hot, raunchy sex." said the unfamiliar voice sarcastically right back.
Andy walked into the kitchen, of course from the total opposite direction of where the "surprise guest" is.
Now I can't ask him who it is.
"I'm hungry." Andy whined
Just then Bryan Starzzzzzzzzz comes in and says, “Hi hungry, I’m Bryan" and laughs.
"Ha. Ha. You’re so funny BYRON." Andy replied, obviously unamused.
"Oh, I know."
"Anyways, guys, can I have some of that food?" Jake asked as he came in from behind Bryan.
"Errr. No. That food is MINE!" Ash shouted, probably trying to keep the food untouched and obviously wanting them to leave so we can resume our previous activities.
A few people here for the party came in, so we all just started talking and telling jokes waiting for some others.
It started to lightly snow outside because it’s late December, and with just our luck something we were waiting to happen, happened.
"OH EM GEE IT’S SNOWING!" CC shouted whilst stripping out of his clothes and running out the door.
What is he doing you ask?
Well, he's doing what CC does, which is run around naked in the snow.
Ashley started ushering people out the door in a rude way, which I didn't like, but I realized it was because he wanted us to be alone again.
I was standing beside him, and he was gently holding my hands.
There were still two or three stray people left in the medium, messy kitchen which seemed to bother him.
"Hey, don't be rude. They can stay in if they want." I spoke in a kind voice.
Hailey noticed CC actually went outside and ran to get him.
In the process she managed to trip over Jinxx's boots and fall face first.
Surprisingly instead of cursing she screamed "Craig Mabbitt" as she toppled over.
Having perfect timing Craig arrived and popped his head into the kitchen, and replied a simple yes followed by everyone laughing.
Immediately after Craig made himself known the one and only Max Green made his way in.
"Hey bitches I'm here too!" he yelled.
By now the house was filled with various band members and the party was really getting started.
I had met Max three years ago when I was 15, and thought he was amazing.
We actually kept talking after through text, so of course upon seeing him I got super stoked.
Running up and hugging him I screamed, "OMG! Maxxy I haven’t seen you in forever."
Apparently I wasn’t the only random girl around that knew him from a meeting.
I didn't know this, but Hailey had met him about a year or so ago at a meet and greet like I did.
She ran over to hug him too, but he gave awesome hugs and I didn't want to share.
I decided to be stingy and pulled him away.
"NO my bestie! His awesome hugs are mine!" I yelled with a laugh at the end.
Hailey and I were having a mental feud about this, and Max sensed this.
"Ladies, chill out, there's plenty of me and my baby bum to go around." He spoke jokingly.
Baby Bum was what I used to call him cause he has a baby face and a little bum, which is actually quite nice.
I looked over towards Ash, wondering why he was being Mr. Quiet, and saw a look of pure jealousy on his face.
I brushed it off and turned back around to Max.
"I missed you Maxxy. It’s been how long since I've last seen you?"
"About a year and a half girly." He said while poking me playfully.
Right after that Ash came and possessively put his arm around me.
It was something I definitely did NOT like.
"Maxwell..." Ashley growled.
What was his deal?
CC finally came back in and he was in a great mood.
He stood next to Hailz and said, "Man that was fun! Hailz you should try it... Oh it’s Max... What is he doing here?"
After seeing Max there his mood changed and he crossed his arms over his chest (still naked).
Luckily from my position I couldn't see anything, but Max had a straight on front row seat to the CC show.
He tried to shield himself from seeing CC in his birthday suit but failed.
Giving up he yelled to CC, "Come on man, I don't want to see your junk."
Deciding to be a dick, CC stood there for another couple of minutes before putting his clothes back on.
Ash stops his possessive hold, and starts holding me closer in a protective/loving way and kisses my cheek.
Hey, maybe his funk has ended and he's going to be sweet(ish).
"So Max, what the hell do you want?"
Nope. I was wrong... again.
I really don't get why he's being such an asshole, and I pull away from his embrace/grasp.
"Ash, don't be an asshole, he's my friend. And if you're going to say he wasn't invited. Don’t. Because Craig invited him to come along and this is MY house." I said kind of harshly.
"Yea Purdy. Don’t be an asshole." Max added in.
Shortly after receiving a 'you aren't helping' look from Hailz and I.
He followed with a long hug and quiet apology for adding on to reasons for Ash to be douchey.
CC walks back in and moves in closer to Hailey.
"Yea, what do you want?" He questioned but in a calmer tone than Ash.
Hailz obviously didn't like the way they were acting either because she slapped CC lightly on the arm.
"Hands off Green," Ash growled, "that's MY girl you're touching."
He said it almost as if I was his property, and that sent me overboard.
I mean yes, we are together, but I am in no way his property like he's making it seem.
"Ash, he can hug me, and I'd prefer it if you didn't say that as if I was your property." I said with annoyance.
His eyes changed from enraged to apologetic from my comment; he lightly hugged me as his form of I'm sorry.
CC, however, still had his eyes trained on Max, and it was clear that he wasn't going to calm himself.
The whole situation became more uncomfortable, and you could tell Max's entire mood was changing by the way he's being treated.
"Let’s go sweetheart..." CC said while pulling on Hailz hand.
I looked up to Ash and saw he was thinking of doing the same thing.
Well. He's got the wrong idea because that will not go over well with me.
"Ashley Purdy I swear if you do that with me I will not do what I said we would later." I hissed while walking over to Max to apologize again.
Max and I just watched as Hailz went with CC sadly, and whispered her bye to Max.
Ashley put his arm around my waist and kisses my cheek in an attempt to make me forgive him, which sadly works.
"Sorry for even thinking about it Ba... I mean Rain." He whispered trying to not overstep his boundaries my calling me babe.
"You better be mister."
Ash's POV
When Max could no longer see CC and Hailey he spoke up once more.
"C'mon CC don't be like that!" He shouted, "Hailz why are you letting him get away with that bullshit!"
Rain probably thinking it would be a good idea to add in some humor shouted out her part in it.
"Yea Hailstorm! Take control like me! We have the vagina we make the damn rules!" Rain hollered.
That was the first time she had called Hailey Hailstorm all night.
I have to admit that was actually pretty funny, but still, I don't trust Max.
Nothing good has ever come out of things having to do with Max Green.
Rain got a few stares followed by a hoots and whoops because of her addition.
After a few seconds Hailey's head popped into the kitchen.
"Don’t worry, he's going to pay for it later in ways he doesn't know quite yet." She spoke with an evil chuckle.
