The Moment

Ash's POV
By the time I woke up it was around 10 AM, and I went to the kitchen to find something to eat.
Nothing.
I guess it's time that we go and restock Rain's pantry.
I grab a bottle of water and head to Rain's room, where she is peacefully sleeping.
During the night I woke up, and we were sleeping on the floor.
Being a good boyfriend I picked Rain up and brought her into her room.
I even changed her into some PJ's without thinking dirty thoughts.
She looked utterly adorable when she slept.
Her hair going in every direction, her lips slightly puckered, her arm slid under the pillow.
The blanket completely twisted around her while she was sleeping.
Deciding against waking her up, I sat down on the bed beside her.
The sudden weight change caused Rain to stir a little, but didn't actually make enough of a difference to wake her up.
An hour later I feel movement beside me and heard a small yawn.
"Morning Rain, how did you sleep?"
"I slept good... How long have you been awake?" she asked while stretching her arms above her head.
"Well I woke up at 10 and it's 11 now so like an hour, and I think we should get dressed to go to the store."
"You also noticed that you guys cleaned out my food supply?" Rain spoke sleepily with a giggle.
"Yes, now get up little miss lazy bones and get ready." I told her with my serious voice.
"Yes sir!" She yelled to me in response.
"Oh, are you now a person in the army? Responding with 'yes sir' after everything." I joked.
"Yes sir!"
"Okay, now enough dilly dallying, go take a shower so you can start getting ready. Don't even think about saying yes sir unless you want me to pick you up and throw you into the shower with your clothes still on."
With that she was up and into the bathroom waiting for the water to heat up.
A few minutes go by and I hear Rain singing rebel love song.
Her voice was so good, and it immediately made me wonder what other songs she could sing.
It also compelled me to sing along with her, but I didn't want to scare her so I only sang quietly.

It was almost time for the next verse when all of a sudden Andy ran by and screamed 'Rebel Dove Song" causing Rain to stop singing.
Within seconds you can hear Rain laughing at what Andy said.
It was kinda funny, I mean she was in the shower singing it, and Dove is a brand of shower product.
Soon the water turns off, and I hear Rain quietly say damn it.
"Um, Ash?" she says while poking her head slightly out of the door.
"Yes?"
"Can you get me a towel? I sorta forgot to get one before coming in here." She said while looking down out of embarrassment.
"It's not like you have anything I haven't seen before..." I responded with a smirk.
"But I'm going to be all wet, and it will be nearly impossible for me to put my skinnies on." Rain argued.
"You can just use this towel to dry the important parts off." I say while pointing to the towel on the floor.
"Can you bring it to me?"
"Nope."
"UGHHHHH you're the worst" Rain growled.
She closed the door to the bathroom, probably to gather courage to come out.
I grabbed the towel and put it on my lap so she couldn't do what I was expecting her to, which is to quickly get to the towel where she last saw it.
Slowly she came out of the bathroom and looked for the towel, and you could tell when she saw it on my lap she knew there was no way out of it.
She walked over to me and grabbed the towel, and I had a perfect view of her body.
Her ivory skin looked baby soft, and I couldn't resist the temptation.
I stood up and gently reached my hand out to her, I placed it on her side and slowly moved my hand up and down.
"Ash..." she quietly started before I cut her off by kissing her.
I pulled her bare body close to me and slid my hand up the length of her body until it reached her cheek.
She deepened our kiss while tangling her fingers through my hair, and in seconds she's pushing me down onto the bed.
I want to do this so badly, but unfortunately my stomach starts growling causing Rain to get up and start getting dressed.
"What are you doing?" I question.
"Your stomach growling is not something that should happen during something like that, which means we need to go get food now. We can do that later, babe." She replied with a wink.
"UGGGHHH."
"Now you see how I feel when you wouldn't give me the towel."
I flopped myself back onto the bed and stared at the ceiling for the next twenty minutes.
Rains POV
"Ash, we can go now. I'm done getting ready." I kindly said.
I felt bad for just stopping, but I didn't want it to happen quite like that.
Plus his stomach was growling, and we seriously needed to get food for the party later.
He didn't move an inch, he just remained staring at the ceiling.
"Ashyboo? Come on... we need to go, and I don't know how to drive yet." I spoke in a persuasive voice.
Still no movement, I think its time to go to my last resort.
I slowly climbed on top of him, and gently kissed him.
"Please?"
He placed his arms around me and pulled me down onto him.
"Can we stay like this before we go? Please?" He whispered.
"Yea"
We stayed like that for about 10 minutes before going to the store.
Rain's POV

Knowing that when Jake drinks he eats a lot we got a variety of food along with the alcohol and other things and headed home.
"Hey Ash, do you want to help me make the food?"
"Sure. Are you sure your mother isn't going to come and ruin our party?" he questioned while his tone changed as he said "mother".
"Yea I'm pretty sure after she saw us she took her things and went to stay with another alcoholic friend." I replied.
I secretly hoped that they would drown each other in the alcohol and accidentally kill the other.
Ash and I eventually were able to start preparing the food after going back and forth with scenarios for if she did come.
We made cool shaped sandwiches (like the kids we are on the inside), mini pizzas, and alcoholic gummy bears just for the hell of it.
Just then CC walked into the kitchen.
"Hey guys, I need to tell you something." CC said while walking in just as we finished.
"Yea? What is it C?" I answered, simplifying his already shorter name even more.
"Well, for the past few months I've been seeing a girl..." He spoke shyly.
"OOOOOHHHHHH who is she?" Ash and I said in unison
"That's kind of creepy, but anyways, her name is Hailey. She has her friends call her Ha-" CC stated before I cut him off.
"Hailstorm?"
"Yea, how'd you know that?" he questioned me.
"Oh, I don't know maybe because she was Skylar and I's bestie before she changed schools. Plus I started that nickname, until I started calling her Hailz."
"Well, that's good, because I brought her here to introduce you guys cause I told her she could come to the party later."
With that Hailz walked into the kitchen asking CC if she could meet his friends now.
She didn't notice me at first, but when she did she squealed with excitement.
We spent the next 30 minutes catching up and remembering all the funny inside jokes we had.
Soon after she and CC left to get ready for the party, and before they were out the door I reminded them to go get Skylar.
Now Ash and I were alone.
He slowly walked over and planted a soft kiss on my lips.
