The Devil in the Mirror

Rose's POV:

I nervously sat in the recoding studio as Chris quickly warmed up his voice. I recently found out that BVB and MIW were thinking of touring together, and they figured they'd practice a bit, seeing if the two different bands fit together. Luckily I had the girls to keep my company and hidden from Andy's intense gaze that seemed to constantly follow me. I tried my best to ignore his stares, but it began to get to me, giving me the sensation of my skin crawling. I felt awkward, and I hated how Andy and I had once been friends, and now the option of a friendship was ruined.

Ella and Sammi both eventually got bored of waiting for the guys, and instead headed out for a Starbucks run. I offered to go instead considering I knew Scranton a bit better than them, but the two girls insisted, and told me to talk to Olivia. I smiled shyly at her after Sammi and Ella left, unsure of what to do. It wasn't that I didn't like the girl, I barely knew her anyways, I just felt awkward alone with her. What if she hated me for how I had broken up with Andy, or was suspicious of Ash and I's close relationship? Hell, apparently the girl had been a stripper in New York, so what is she like, hated me? Ugh, curse you Sammi and Ella.

"So, uh, do you still live in New York?" I asked her, biting my lip.

She smiled a beautiful smile, shaking her head 'no', "I actually moved away recently. Just moved in with Ash last month, we wanted to be closer and with our schedules, well, long distance wasn't working for us. But what about you and Chris? You guys are doing the whole long-distance thing, how's it working for you?"

I laughed lightly, I think I was starting to like this girl. "Well, we haven't been dating that long, but we manage. Besides, college and Motionless in White isn't really something we can work around, so we just Skype a lot. But I am considering moving in with him after I graduate, you know, if we last that long anyways."

She nodded, "good for you fro putting education first," she then scooted closer to me and whispered, "by the way, I think Andy's still very broken over you. He's wrapped around your finger practically!"

I shoved her playfully, but frowned. I hoped Andy would get over me, move on. He didn't deserve to remain heartbroken when I had moved on, and was happy with another man. I hoped he would find a girl soon, but a part of me actually hope he didn't, as terrible as that sounds. Maybe part of me still wanted and craved his every touch, every word ripe from his lips. Maybe I still wanted him, but I was with Chris, and he had hurt me, plus he didn't trust me. We simply didn't work as a couple, and that was something that we both had to face.

Liv stood up and offered my a soft smile before she skipped over to Ash and wrapped her arms around him, causing for a smile to ignite upon his handsome face. Maybe Olivia was good for him after all. He kissed her temple as she snuggled into his side, sending me a wink making me laugh.

I glanced up at Chris in the recording booth, warming up his magnificent voice currently. I waved at him through the glass and blew him a kiss, making him grin. He stepped out and kissed my cheek, pulling me to his chest and resting his chin on my head.

"Sorry this is taking longer than expected, babe. The girls should be back soon, hopefully with my pumpkin spiced latte." I giggled at that, oh Chris. "Sorry, I know you weren't ready to face Andy yet, but he may be on tour with Motionless, so you might just have to get used to him."

I nodded and kissed his jaw in understanding, "it's honestly fine babe. It's your job, besides, BVB is an amazing band, you'd guys kick ass with them on tour."

"Best. Girlfriend. Ever." He declared in between kisses.

Chris then disappeared with the rest of his band, laving me alone with BVB. I sighed as I sat back down on the sleek leather couch, tugging my phone out of my bag.

"Hey Rose, you, um, look good."

I snapped my head up and smiled when I saw Andy in front of me, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Hey Andy. You look good too. How've you- Actually no, let's cut the shit. Please, let's not make things awkward, I forgive you, now can we be friends again?"

He laughed at that, and nodded with a small smile. I stood up and hugged him, something I haven't done since our breakup over the summer. It felt both foreign and nice, sending waves of nostalgia throughout my body. Despite the fact that we were no longer together, and that I was seeing someone else, anyone could see the spark between us, a spark so powerful I was afraid it would pull me under again.

After a few nice moments that were only slightly awkward, I pulled away.

"I love the new record, by the way. My favourite is 'Devil in the Mirror' I love the lyrics and the message."

He ran a had through his hair, "yeah, that's a good one. It's actually about you. I wrote it while we were still together, when you were in the hospital. Did they ever find out what made you go into a coma?"

"Nope," I answer plainly, popping the 'p'.

"That sucks, how do you feel? You know, mentally, emotionally, whatever you call it. You never told me."

"Really? I thought I did... Oh well, not important. I've been fine, school is pretty stressful, but other than that I'm good. My problems started a long time ago, all I know is that your music helped, and well, yo saved me. So thank you, Andy, I owe my life to you."

Andy shakes his head, "I'm jus glad you're okay. And I want you to know that I'm really, really sorry for everything I said. It's not true and I didn't mean it."

I smiled, "apology accepted Andy."

"Good," he grinned, "because I also want you to know that I'm not giving up on us. I still love you, Rosie. And I'm not stopping until you're mine."

Notes

Wicked, evil plan anyone? Andy still loves Rosie there's a shock. But he is really determined to get her back, and with Motionless on tour with BVB, maybe he'll get some time to woo her, of course if she goes on tour.
Also, Andy wrote a song for her! I love that song, and I think it's my favourite from BVB IV, it really speaks to me.
Also, I'm not sure if anyone realzied it, but Rose never told Anyd or Chris about her 'problems'
