The Devil in the Mirror

Rose's POV:

Chris had to go to the recording studio today, there was no way out of it. So I just figured I'd tag along, despite his warnings of my being bored, or whatnot. But i haven't seen my boyfriend in three months, I'm going with him.

It was chilly in Scranton, so unfortunately, I had to dress warmly. I missed California, where you could basically get away with wearing shorts 360 days a year everywhere, except for San Fransisco. Fuck my life.

I changed quickly and we had a fast bite to eat from Starbucks, of course purchasing pumpkin spiced lattes, Chris' favourite. I swear, he likes them more than I do. Chris seemed somewhat nervous as we drove to the recording studio, but I stayed silent, merely enjoying being near him. When we get there I could see why, there were a lot of people chatting outside of the studio, people recognized along with the rest of Motionless.

Black Veil Brides was laughing and chatting away while my worst nightmare basically became reality.

I was coming face to face with my ex-boyfriend.

Chris sensed what was wrong and he squeezed me hand, helping me out of the car in my dazed state. I clutched his hand nervously, wanting nothing more than to just be able to disappear back at Chris' apartment, preferably under a pile of blankets.

Andy, Ashley, CC, Jake, Jinxx, Sammi, Ella and a blonde girl standing beside Ashley were all laughing away with Ricky, Ghost, Balz and Ryan. Chris slowly guided me towards the large group, to which everyone smiled when they saw us, although BVB looked rather confused since I had changed my hair.

Sammi and Ella broke away first, and they quickly enveloped me into a giant hug. They then pulled away and examined me head to toe, before bombarding me with questions: how was school? what was I doing in Scranton? Why did I change my hair? was Chris and I dating?

I refused to answer any of it and turned to the other guys first, wanting to see everyone before I answered any questions. I turned to the group and waved slightly.

"Gi guys," I squeaked out awkwardly.

Ashley laughed and pulled me into his arms, giving me a crushing hug, "nice to see you Rosie. Oh, and like the hair," he pulled on a strand of now black hair and I blushed.

"thanks Ash."

"Oh and this if my girlfriend, Olivia. Liv, this tis the girl I was telling you about, meet Rosie."

I broke into a grin and accepted her warm hug, "wow, Ash, got yourself a dame. Nice, never thought you'd settle down." I teased.

He laughed and kissed her cheek, making her blush, "I'm Olivia. It;s nice to meet you! I've heard a lot about you from Ash. I love your hair by the way," she complimented.

"Thanks hun, but you should've seen it before. Suited me much better. But apparently dances can't dye their hair any wild colours."

I then went around and talked with everyone, after giving everyone a hug, even Andy. I wasn't bitter about what happened between us, just a little sad, but that was all.

"So to answer your questions, I'm living in New York, yeah I'm at Juilliard for dance. The program is amazing, but is challenging and demanding. Grades are good, passed my exams, yadda yadda yadda. I'm in Scranton because I'm visiting my boyfriend, Chris. Dating since ending of September. Just got in this morning so I'm tired as fuck. but yeah. That's my life now, how're you guys? What's new? Other than Ash finding a girl, of curse."

We all continue to chat as we enter the building, and I turn to see Andy gazing at my longingly, he smiles a me sadly when our eyes meet, and I return the smile, but then go back to talking with the girls.

I dont need him to ruin me again.

Wonder what's going to happen? Me too. lol

Also, I've been thinking, how many books in this series do you all want? I have a number in my mind, but I need to know if you guys want any more after book 2
