Two of the Best

Alex’s POV:

The night before Valentine’s Day I was pulled into a room with CC, his eyes wide as he stared down at me.
“What should I do for Raven?” He asked me. “What do you mean?” I responded. “For Valentine’s Day, what should I get her, you know her better than I do.” “Oh, okay, take her out for an hour or two to play with dogs and puppies, then just treat her even more special than usual. Also make sure you cuddle and snuggle her a lot, whenever possible.” I said and CC grinned at me. “Thank you,” He then left me and a smile crept across my face, but then it disappeared. Oh god, did I have to do something for Andy? I haven’t actually celebrated Valentine’s Day for years and years and years.

...Valentine’s Day…

Raven and I were talking about something and how much I sucked at texting when Andy suddenly came into the bus. He was holding a medium sized brown box and I smiled. I ran over to him and hugged him and kissed him.
“Careful! The box is fragile!” Andy said and just grinned. He handed me the box and I slowly opened the lid finding a small black kitten sitting in the center.
“Oh my god Andy!” I nearly screamed as I saw the kitten. I picked it up in one hand and dropped the box, holding it close to my chest. I kiss Andy and run back to the bunks to go and cuddle it when it hits me.
“Andy, did you buy food and litter?” I yelled to him.
“Uh...I forgot it…” He said and I couldn’t help but giggle. I come back out after planting a soft kiss on its soft head then pushed it into Andy’s hands.
“I’ll be back, come on Rae.” We went out and got the litter and food and I couldn’t wait to get back. Once we were back, Raven offered to watch the little kitten that I decided to name Ciel after the anime character. They both had blue eyes. Andy and I were cuddling in a bunk and he leaned over, kissing my cheek, then my forehead, then my nose. He slowly went in and kissed my lips and I kissed back softly. Every moment of what we had was passionate. Soft moans, cute kisses, and now and then a few giggles. After it I just sat in Andy’s arms, our bodies covered in the blankets.
“I love you so fucking much, Andy…” I mumbled to him, resting my head against his bare, tattooed chest.
“I love you, too.” He whispered into my ear and kissed my cheek, but I turned around to face him.
“I mean you’ve honestly saved my life, I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for all that you do. And I know I speak for so many fucking people when I say this but, you are honestly my savior. I’ve gone through some shit during my life and when no one else was there, even Raven at times, you always were with your songs. I don’t know if you know or remember this or not but...a year ago I was able to meet you and I told you about my suicidal and self harm problem. You told then that it was worth fighting through each day and my god, it was. Because now I am here. With you. And I am happy.” I didn’t even notice the tears that streamed down my face but he did. He reached up and brushed them away from my cheek. He didn’t say anything but just stared me in the eye and pulled me into a tight hug and I couldn’t help but smile. Things are actually going alright now.

We walked out 20 minutes after that happened, Andy holding my hand tightly.
“Hey,” I said and Raven and CC looked up from playing with the kitten. She stood up and gave it to me and I held it close again.
“You guys can go and do whatever you want now, thank you for watching him, go have fun.” I smiled at CC and he grinned back at me, mouthing the words ‘thank you’ before they both were out the door.
