Andy and Vale walked hand in hand into the cafeteria. She ducked down into his shoulder and kept her head lowered.

Annalise and her little group were staring holes through the couple and conveniently Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx were with them again. "What's happening?" She asked Andy. Kelsey had told her she was heading back to her dorm to finish homework for lunch and CC and Talula left to have some 'alone' time. It was just her and Andy which made her happy but nervous at the same time.

"I don't know." He mumbled. "You've got to be hungry babe, come on." She nodded and they walked into the line. She grabbed a banana and a bottle of water while Andy grabbed a slice of pizza, french fries, and a soda. "Hun, you've got to eat more."

"I'm good." She smiled. He made a face at her and she grabbed yogurt as well. "Happy?"
He grinned and kissed her cheek. "Very." They walked to a different table in the back. It was a booth seat near a window. They slid into the same side and she curled her feet beneath her before leaning into his side. She was on the inside since he is so protective about her. "Let's just forget about them okay? We have each other and that's all that matters."

"But tonight, I have to go to my dorm and she'll be there. Hallie will always find new ways to torment me.." She shook her head. Tears pricked to her eyes and Andy felt suddenly nervous. "I hate it here, Andy." She said, slipping her arms around his neck.

"Shh.." He whispered. "It's okay. I'm here. You have me. If you didn't come here, we would have never met."

"I know." She said, pulling back and wiping her tears away. "Thank you."

"Anytime." He said, picking up a fry and popping it in her mouth. She laughed and picked up her banana. They ate in a comfortable silence, but Andy was still worried. He'd known her three days and she never had a full meal. She was basically skin and bones and her nails were bitten down to the nub. "Why don't tonight for dinner you eat an actual meal? The pizza is really good and so is a lot of the other stuff.."

She shrugged. "I'm a vegetarian you know." She looked up at him.

"I didn't know that." He chuckled.

"That's why I don't eat a ton." She sighed, scooping the last bit of her yogurt into her mouth. "Plus I get full really fast."

"Ah." He nodded. "I was just nervous that's all. Don't ever think you need to harm yourself to look beautiful, okay?"

She leaned up and kissed him- still tasting soda on his lips. "Thank you." He smiled and nuzzled his face in her neck.

"Let's run away together." He mumbled after a few minutes. "I want to hold you forever."

"That would be nice. Peaceful and amazing." She whispered.

"Let's do it." He said, taking her hand and kissing each of her fingers.

She smirked. "Maybe after high school."

"No.." He groaned. "Now." She laughed and kissed him again.

"I've got to get my degree. Then I'm free to leave." She said, cupping his cheek. He huffed and nodded.

"I guess your right." He said, laying his cheek on her head.

"I know." She smirked kissing his neck. "I don't want to go to class." He chuckled and ran his fingers through her long hair.

"At least you have me.." He mumbled.

"True." She smiled. "You know this place is better than my last school."

"Really?" He raised his brow. She nodded.

"I didn't really have any friends." She said, looking up at him. He sighed and rubbed her back.

"Inside the school at least. I had a lot of friends from concerts. Mostly dudes.."

"You're making me jealous, babe." He chuckled.

"We didn't date, Hun. You know that!" She giggled.

"Still." He laughed, kissing her cheek over and over again. "You done?"

"Mhm."

"Let's get out of here for the remaining half hour." He said, standing up and grabbing both of their trays. She followed after him, keeping her head down again. He reached out for her hand and she grabbed it. "Stop cowering." He mumbled, kissing her head.

"I'm scared." She said. He sighed and pulled her out of the cafeteria. "Where are we going?"

"I've got to tell you something." He said, pulling her along with him. He was heading towards the cemetery.

It was time.

When they got there, he sat down in front of a gigantic statue. Vale felt uncomfortable as he stared at her clearly contemplating on what to say.

"I don't know where to start." He shook his head. He reached into his pocket to grab a rather old looking piece of paper. He handed it to her. "But I think we can start here." She looked down at the paper and began reading.

The Prophecy Of Elysium: One day a young girl, of strength and courage will meet Andalus Elys. Her name shall be Valea Siumm. Together, they will restore the world from the negative, violence-ridden behavior that has been bestowed upon it. Their actions will finally stop Lucifer's hellions and keep them in the place they belong. They will create the ultimate Elysium.

"W-what does this mean?" She asked.

"Valea.." He mumbled, looking up at him. "Andalus."

"Me and..you?" She whispered. The paper was old, and crinkly. It was folded from being on Andy's person for so long. "W-what are you?" She scooted farther from him so their knees weren't touching.

"I'm a fallen angel, Vale. And so are you." He said, taking her ice cold hand.

"No." She shook her head ferociously. "I'm not. You sound crazy Andy."

"You are and so are CC and Talula." He said, she lowered her eyes from him but he placed his hand under her chin to make him look at her. "Look into my eyes. Tell me you don't feel a spark. Tell me that you aren't falling in love with me after only three days." She was completely silent, her heart hammering so hard against her chest she was sure he could hear it. "Exactly. You can't. So don't tell me I'm crazy when everything I'm saying is the explanation you asked me for."

"God cast us down. He cast me, CC, and Talula down first. Then you but he took your memories. He took your wings, all your abilities. He made you mortal, knowing only I held the key to your divine right. He trusted that in your seventeen years and my two thousand, we'd find each other. That one day all hope in the world would be restored." Andy continued, standing up and leaning on the statue. "But then things started to get in the way. Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx are demons. We met them thousands of years ago and they were trackers. They were looking for you. So we convinced them who I was. We told them I had no drive to want to be a part of Gods stupid plan. I told them I didn't care about you but it was all a lie. I knew they had a chance of finding you so we tagged along to keep you safe. They got me into bad things, Vale. They're the reason I'm here. The state put me in here when they found us getting into fights and smoking. We got thrown into Juvi for a little while since our ID's say we were only sixteen at the time, then we were put here."

"I didn't think anything of it until a year and a half later when you came here. I knew I finally found you. I knew as soon as I saw your eyes, they're the same shade as mine. That's why I was so happy." He whispered, his back hunched over as he looked away from her. He reached around his neck to pull out a necklace and turned back to look at her. As she looked at it her heart began to swell seeing it was the same cross she always wore. "I know you have this. Pull it out." He sat next to her as she took the necklace out from her shirt. "God sent you down with that. We knew each other in Heaven. We were lovers there too. Now we've been trusted to stop Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx. Together." Her heart still hadn't ceased the stupid thumping and as she ran a hand through her hair she began to feel something. It was a new feeling and as it rose from her stomach to her chest she knew it was something strong. It was love.

Fucking love!

She was in love with an angel and how her mind so easily accepted that he was telling the truth was beyond her. She didn't want to believe. She hated that with just one look Andy could tell her anything and she believed him just like that.

She stared at him, silently. His eyes never left her own as his hand found hers. "Can you prove it?" Was all she said. He smiled and cupped her cheek before standing up.

"Come behind here, let me show you." He said, watching her as she stood up. She didn't seem nervous- just curious. "Don't be scared, okay? This is who your supposed to be."

He closed his eyes as Vale watched intently. All of the sudden he hunched over and shaded his eyes with his arm. She was worried because he looked so pained.

"Andy?" She whispered, breathlessly.

"It's alright." He cringed. "We don't do it much so it tends to hurt."

"W-what are you-" Her sentence was cut short as a pair of beautiful, plush white wings escaped the prison of his skin. Wind whipped at the sudden force and blew her hair all around her face.

He stood up a little taller, his arms coming in to hide himself. He was self conscious. This was the real him and she could either run or accept it.

Her hands reached out to touch his wing and his eyes fluttered closed at the feeling. It was the most intimate sensation for an angel to have someone touch their wings.

"You're beautiful." She whispered.

"Valea, I love you." He said, a shiny tear escaping his eye. "I love you so much." She buried herself into his strong arms and her breath caught in her throat as she felt his soft wings wrap around her tiny body. The feeling was the most beautiful thing in the world. His arms weren't just wrapped around her but so was his entire soul.

If she hadn't believed him earlier, she believed him now.

Only because of the feeling that came along with him. He was beautiful and she felt so, so lucky.

"I love you too." She whispered. "And I believe you."

"Y-you do!?" He exclaimed, tears now falling down his cheeks. She wiped them away as she looked up at him.

"Yes." She said. He leaned and gave her a long and powerful kiss. Her heart swelled as his perfect lips massaged her own with such love and passion that she never wanted to leave their little cocoon of safety and love.

He laid them down, her on his stomach. His wings wrapped tighter around her body and she clutched onto his shoulder. "I'm not cold." She whispered.

He giggled. "For once. You were always cold back home too. The only time you weren't is when my wings were around you. Just like now."

"So we go way back?" She asked, smugly.

"Oh yeah." He smiled. "You're the only woman I've ever loved. Only woman I ever will love."

She grinned but it faltered. "So what do Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx think about us now?"

"They think I'm playing you." He said, his black hair shading his eye. "And when I'm done I'll bring you to them and kill you."

Her breath hitched. "Y-you won't-"

"God, of course not!" He exclaimed. "I'm going to protect you! You're my responsibility babe."

"Thank you." She whispered, closing her eyes. "I'm so tired.." She yawned.

"It's my wings." He smiled, "In Heaven you slept in my wings every night and I guess seventeen years of lonely sleeping is wearing you down."

"Guess so." She mumbled, her eyes slipping shut.

"Sleep my love. I have you." He said, kissing her cheek. All sense of where she was went away and she fell asleep. "I love you..."

"H-honey, wake up." Andy said, shaking her shoulder. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled up at him.

"Hey you." She whispered, cupping his cheek. His eyes were full of something she couldn't recognize. He looked away from her and up. She noticed his wings weren't around her anymore and that they had skipped class. She followed his gaze and was met with the cold brown eyes of Ashley Purdy. Jake and Jinxx and stood behind him. She cowered down as Andy sat up.

"What do you want?" Andy asked, Vale noticed that it was still light out but a different kind of light.

Brighter like...morning...

"Everyone thought you two ran away." Ashley chuckled. "Clearly you didn't. Just fell asleep, a little wrapped up." Andy's eyes lowered to Vale, to his love. She had slid off his chest and her arms were wrapped around herself.

How he longed to fold her back into his arms and wings. He wished they could lay in the gardens of Heaven together eternally but they were stuck on earth. Most likely forever.

"We-I..." Andy shook his head. He didn't know what to say. Ashley had caught them. He didn't think they'd sleep for so long! He thought he would wake up before they had to go back to class! "I think you've figured it out."

"That you told her? Yeah we did.." Ashley chuckled. "I wouldn't leave her side if I were you because I'll fucking kill you both when I get the chance. Don't think we don't know. Your the only one who can restore her divine right. Til then little angels.."

"By the way, the head master wants to see you two." Jinxx smirked. With that the three demons walked away, leaving the fallen angel and "human" to sit and think.

They were fucked.

"Andy?" Vale whispered. He took her hand and stood up. "We slept all the way through-"

"Yes we did." He said, pulling her up with him.

"What do we do?" She asked as he pulled her into a hug.

"Go see what's in store for us, I guess." He mumbled against her hair.

"Or we could run away." She said, looking up at him. He giggled and kissed her lips.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too." She said, smiling. "I miss your wings."

"They'll be back soon." He chuckled.

"Andy, what did Ashley mean when he said your the only one who could restore my.." She shook her head, not remembering the words.

"Divine right?" She nodded. "Your divine right is the ability to become an angel again. The only way would be for us to...uh..."

"Have sex?" She asked squeezing his hand. He nodded, swallowing hard. "Andy are you a virgin?" Those were the words he'd been dreading since the day he met her. He hung his head low, a tear falling down his cheek.

"No." He shook his head, leaning against the tree.
The word hurt and Vale felt like bursting into tears. It would have been one thing if he hadn't known- if she had been the one to do it instead of him but he didn't wait.

Her heart felt broken and Vale had know idea why. She was starting to remember things- things from Heaven. It was like sleeping in Andy's arms replenished her but hearing him say what he did was fucking painful.

"O-Oh.." She whispered. He pulled her into his arms and buried his face in her neck.

"I'm sorry." He said. "I was at a really low point in my time here on earth. I didn't think you would ever come around and someone else- she looked so much like you- well she and I met and I used her. I had sex with her and a lot of women after her. I'm so ashamed of it Vale..."

"It's okay." She said, running her fingers through his hair. "It'll all be okay." His heart broke knowing that she was wrong. It wasn't going to be okay. Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx were after them and now she had to worry about that.

"I wish I could take it back. I really do." He said, taking her hand.

"I know." She said, letting her lips glide across his cheek. "Come on, we should go." He nodded and they walked hand in hand to the head masters office.
