Forsaken, I Walk The Night Alone

Andy furrowed his brow as he looked down at his phone. He had..five thousand followers.

Five thousand followers!?

And over two thousand friends on MySpace!

It was a month later and Andy couldn't believe the attention Black Veil Brides was starting to get. They released a small demo CD on their MySpace and would be selling it at their show the next day.

Blasko had really helped a lot. He was promoting the boys, showing them what to do and what to say.

Vale and Andy were a huge selling point and a lot of people seemed to become obsessed with their relationship. Unfortunately, some others just seemed to be..rude. Okay, make that most.

Andy noticed that it was a specific group of people who liked their music. They were all alternative and they seemed to have been dealt a harder hand in life. He wanted to help them- it was his new mission, not just for Heaven but for himself.

"Hey, dinner is almost ready guys." Vale said from the kitchen. Talula and her decided to make dinner instead of ordering takeout like always.

Andy jumped off of the couch and smiled as he saw Talula laugh at something Vale said. The girls had become best friends- even closer than before and it made him happy.

In a serious relationship it was always important to have friends and Andy and her were about as serious as it comes. That's why they were both so thankful that Vale had stumbled upon Mitch.

Not only did she hang out with him all the time, she loved his girl, Jolie and daughter Kenadee
just as much.

Andy was glad she had someone to hang out with when he was rehearsing at nights. "Smells good babe." He said, kissing her head and nodding to Talula.

"I hope it is!" Vale giggled as his arms wrapped around her tiny waist.

Ashley and Jake watched from the corner as Vale let Andy taste the soup she was making. They were giggling and looked so happy.

"Do you ever get jealous of them?" Ashley asked his best friend.

"All the time. Not because I want Vale, I just want what they have.." Jake sighed.

"Exactly." Ashley bit his lip and ran a hand through his hair.

"Alright, let's eat!" Talula said, grinning at Vale and her's accomplishment.

They had made steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a tomato soup. Vale hoped it was good since she'd never been a very good cook. It seemed decently easy.

Once everyone had their food, they sat around on the floor since they had no kitchen table. They shared stories and ate a home cooked meal for the first time in what seemed like forever.

"This is great, honey." Andy smiled down at her.

"Thanks. I've never really cooked before so I'm glad I didn't burn it." She shook her head, finishing up the last of her own food.

"So are you guys ready for your gig?" Talula asked.

"I think so." Andy nodded. "Another band is headlining now too."

"Who?" Vale asked.

"I don't know. Blasko said it would bring a bigger audience." He shrugged, his foot rubbing the inside of Vale's.

"That's good." She said. "I'm excited to watch." Andy nodded looking around at the guys. Ashley seemed distant as he stared at the wall across from him.

"You all good buddy?" Andy asked, nudging his foot.

"Just thinking." He said, clicking his tongue on the top of his mouth. "How the fuck are we going to get to a record deal?"

"You work." Vale said immediately. "If you work hard enough it will happen, you guys are awesome!"

"Yeah, whatever you say." Ashley stood up to take his dishes back to the sink and then grabbed his leather jacket. "I'm going out." Everyone sighed, knowing that meant he's going to get wasted.

"Bye Ash." Vale said, softly. He only slammed the door. Andy let out a sigh and looked down at her sadly.

The rest of the meal was eaten in silence, what Ashley had said was looming over their heads.
They knew he was right and they hated the reality.

An hour or so later Andy and Vale stood in the kitchen, washing dishes. She washed, he dried and put them away.

"How is Mitch?" Andy asked, looking down at her as she scrubbed a pot.

"Good. They're going on tour a few days after your show." Vale shrugged.

"Wow. I want to tour.." Andy sighed. "How fun would that be? Meeting everyone! I get comments everyday saying how much fans want to meet us.."

"Well, maybe you will." She said, leaning up and kissing his cheek.

"I hope." He chuckled, drying off the last dish. "So what are you doing tonight?"

She laughed, "Nothing. It's seven."

"On a Friday night!" Andy exclaimed.

"Let's just relax babe. You have your first show tomorrow!" She shook her head, pulling him over to their mattress. They laid down and immediately burrowed in the others arms.

"You two don't ever do anything!" CC laughed from the couch.

"I'm perfectly content laying here for the rest of my life to be honest." Andy mumbled against Vale's hair.

"CC, why can't you be more like that!?" Talula chuckled. "All romantic.."

"Hey! I'm romantic!" CC pouted, pulling her on his lap.

"Yeah but Andy has all the one liners." Talula laughed, kissing CC's forehead. Vale rolled over and looked at them, laughter in her eyes.

"If every guy acted like Andy, I wouldn't be so lucky." Vale smirked, closing her eyes and laying back into his chest.

Just as she thought she was asleep and in a dream world filled with Andy, rapid knocks banged against the door.

Andy groaned and turned so she was laying on his stomach, preventing her from standing up.

"Vale, it's for you!" Jake said, stepping aside to reveal Mitch.

"Hey!" He exclaimed, walking to the couple. Vale pulled away from Andy making him frown.

"Hey Mitch, what brings you here?" She chuckled, standing up.

"Kenna is having a princess party tonight and she made me come get you and Andy." Mitch laughed, fluffing his hair up. "I think it would mean a lot to her if you came."

"Awh, well of course we'll come!" Vale grinned. "Let me grab my jacket, come on Andy." He nodded and let her drag him around until they were walking out of the apartment.

He was like a puppy when it came to Vale. He just followed her or let her take him anywhere. It was honestly ridiculous but she was the same way. She'd do anything for him.

They walked to Mitch's house in about twenty minutes. He wasn't too far away which made Vale happy.

Jolie opened the door and smiled at the couple. She was a beautiful blonde woman with gorgeous eyes and tan skin.

"Hi guys." She said, pulling Vale into a hug.

"Hey." She smiled. "Where's Kenna?"

"In here with her friends." Jolie led them back to a living room. "She's going to be so excited."
Mitch's little girl, blonde and sun kissed, sat in the floor with her friends. They all wore princess dresses and were eating cute little snacks.

"Vale, Andy!" Kenna grinned, jumping up and hugging them both.

It was no surprise that she had become so attached to the Angels. Kids almost knew there was something special about them and wanted to be around them.

"Hi Kenna." Vale said, ruffling her hair before taking Andy's hand again.

"I missed you!" She grinned, a certain babble to the little girls voice.

"We missed you too." Andy said, wrapping his arm around Vale's shoulder.

They all sat down, Vale in between Andy's legs and she sighed in content as she looked around at amazing people.
