Life's Passing

Andy's POV

Nothing made me feel this way. Not music. Not my family. Not Juliet.

My body soared higher into the sky as I felt the wind and Earth around me. "Do you want this?" The voice in my head asked. "Is this what you are needing? This evil presence that will make you feel like the God you never had. All will be yours just ask long as you prove to me that you want it. " I did want it. I didn't care if it was evil. It was felt good. the power coursed threw me igniting every sense that I had. I could see all the way to the stars even during the day. I could hear all life around me. I could smell the scent of the dirt and leave about and feel the air dancing and swirling around my form. "Is this what you want?" The voice asked me once last time as I reached a high I had never had before. I screamed as loud as I could wanting this to last forever.

I could feel my body falling down towards the ground as I returned back to my normal not so normal self. I didn't want to try to save myself. If I died I could feel like that again. That had to be what dying felt like. Not the horrific pain I had felt in the hospital. The feeling of flight. Right before I hit the ground I noticed my body starting to slow. I eventually stopped in mid air again. I opened my eyes to see Jake's face looking at me without breaking. His eyes were black as night and he stood holding his hands before him. I was about a foot of the ground so I reached my foot down to touch it and with that I fall onto the ground. I laid there for the longest time with them all hovering over me. "What the hell Jake?" Ashley asked him confused. "I'm not sure. Something happened to me last night. " Jake responded. He started talking to Ashley about going into the dream land with me. There voices annoyed me. They were breaking apart the silence I had once heard. I was on the cold ground now instead of the warm flowing air.

I stood up quickly and faced Jake. " Why didn't you let me die?" He looked at me petrified by my words. "What?" he asked me stupidly. I pushed his chest slightly knocking him down the hill. "Why the fuck didn't you let me die. " Jake stumbled to catch his balance as Ashley put his arms between us. I grabbed Ashley's arm and in my anger I felt a hint of the power I had just had. I pushed Ashley away from me and into a tree feeling more of the power. Ashley looked at me pissed but I didn't have time for that. I turned my focus back to Jake and stared him down. "I was suposed to die. How could I ever feel like that again. I needed to die then. " I spat the words at him and pushed him hard enough into a tree that colapsed backwards. Jinxx and CC took Juliet and started walking towards Ashley making sure that he was alright. I saw Jake trying to get up now. He moved slowly to get him self out of the tree and stared me down now. His eyes were black again and I feel an energy that rivaled mine coming from him. "Witch." the voice in my head whispered.

The ground rumbled slightly and large rocks came to float in the air around Jake. Soon they were took flight in my direction and I pushed the out of my way the best I could punching them as they came near me. I jumped up into the air and landed just before Jake. I grabbed him by his throat and threw him to the ground forcing him to slide down the mountain. He rolled down the side a little bit before floating back up to his feet. He came flying towards me and grabbed me by my shoulders sending us back up the moutain. He flew high into the air. "You wanted to die did you? What about the rest of us you mother fucker." And with that he threw me as hard as he could into the ground my head hitting the side of a rock. I felt a warmness around my head yet I was cold everywhere else. Jake stood above me now his eyes slowly turning back to their normal color. "Andy! Oh, shit what have I done." he yelled nearly sinking to his knees. I reached for him not sure of what I intended. I wanted to hurt him, but at the same time he was Jake again. Normal guitar shredding Jake.

I passed out again after that. I was really getting sick and tired of passing out. The old familure darkness filled up my sight again. Matthew disguised as myself came to stand before me again. "Did you like that?" he asked me. "I don't know." I answered truthfully. "You seemed to the way you screamed for more. The way that you put your friend in danger just to feel it again. By the way you friend Jake, I forgot to tell you. He's a witch. A damn strong one. Just like the rest of his family. Those bastards are the ones behind my death. So you know what to do from here. Right?" he asked me with a devilish grin spreading across his face. "You want me to hurt Jake?" I asked him scared. He nodded and laughed slightly. "Hurt, mangle , kill, destory, obliterate. Whatever you find suitable my dear friend." I shook my head no. There was no way. "Fuck you I'm not hurting Jake!" I yelled at the top of my lung. "Why not you already hurt Juliet and you did just hurt Jake. One doesn't exactly spring back from being thrown into a tree." He said laughing some more. "No! I'll make it right again. I fixed things with Juliet and I can fix them with Jake. It's okay he wont have to hurt." I said mostly trying to comfort myself. He laughed and started to walk into the shadows again. "You can try to help your friends if you can manage your lust for power now." And he was gone again.
