Our faith will silence the doubt

Kaili heard them. They were laughing. It was children’s’ laughter. “You can’t catch me. You can’t catch me! Come back, you can’t cross the street without looking both ways first!” “Do you think she’s okay?” “I think so. It’s probably just from the shock.” “Poor thing, I wonder where she was heading in such a hurry.” Kaili slowly opened her eyes and covered her face with one hand. “Oh sorry!” She heard something move and suddenly darkness surrounded her. She slowly opened her eyes and stood up. “Careful.” She felt a pair of strong arms helping her sit. “Thank you.” She blinked as a light turned on. “Are you okay Miss?” She looked at a pair of hazel green eyes and smiled. “Yes thank you.” The woman standing at the doorway smiled, “I’m glad.” Kaili felt she knew her. “Come Henry, leave the girl to rest.” “If you need anything don’t’ hesitate to ask.” “Thank you.” Kaili looked at the girl sitting on the desk where the lamp was. “You gave me quite a scare there Kaili.” Kaili smiled at Blu, “Sorry. I guess I forgot to look both ways.”

Blu shook her head as she sat next to her. “Did your parents not teach you to look both ways before crossing the street?” Kaili chuckled, “I guess not.” She blinked rapidly frowning. “Are you sure you are okay?” “Um yeah, I think so. I think my contacts are dry.” Blu pointed at a door, “You can find something for that in the bathroom. I’ve got an empty contact case there you can use it if you want.” Kaili nodded as she stood up, “Thank you. You’re very kind.” She turned the bathroom light on and closed the door. She opened the contact case and opened the left side, then proceeded to take her left contact out. She put the contact liquid in and closed that side, and then she did the same with the left side. She rubbed her eyes careful to not smear her makeup and looked at herself in the mirror A picture taped to the mirror caught her attention. There were three blond haired kids in the picture. She guessed one of the girls was Blu, but who were the boy and the other girl? She looked at another picture and saw the same girl and boy, but this one had writing on it. On the girl’s head was the name Bubbles, and on the boy’s was Dennis. “Dennis. Why does that name sound familiar?”
His name is Andrew Dennis Biersack. Kaili let out a soft sigh. “Thanks Valentin.” She looked at the picture closely. That couldn’t possibly be the Andy she knew. Could Blu know Andy Biersack? She opened the bathroom door and looked at Blu who was taking her shoes off. “Hey Blu-” Blu looked at Kaili and smiled, “Wow, you’re eyes are beautiful. They’re just like mine.” Kaili saw that Blu’s eyes where the same shade of blue as hers. Her eyes suddenly widened as a flow of memories invaded her. She grabbed on to the bathroom sink and looked at the pictures of the mirror again. “Kaili, are you okay?” She slowly walked to the mirror and looked at herself. She saw herself, but her black hair was no longer there, instead she had a golden locks, just like Blu’s. She suddenly gasped, Kaili now understood everything. Why she felt she was in someone else’s skin. “Kaili?” She knew who she was. “Kaili, you’re scaring me.” Kaili looked at Blu who stood in the doorway scared. “I know who I am,” She whispered. Blu looked at her confused. “What?” *******************************************************************************************

James felt his heart about to burst out of his chest. He couldn´t believe it. It has Zoey. The Zoey he had always loved. Yet, she was different. Those eyes full of joy where now gone, her blonde hair was now black. He touched the picture and let out a soft sigh. ¨I found you.¨ James looked at the variety of pictures. She had changed a lot in the past months. She was skinnier, paler, her eyes were dazed. He knew they had been drugging her. Had they also done plastic surgery on her? He looked at the envelope that was badly hidden under the wardrobe the pictures where at. Academy, an academy in Tokyo Japan. James hid the envelope in his jacket as he heard a sound outside of the door. Shit! James quickly walked to the basement door he had come in from. He closed it just in time to see her, the woman that had kidnapped Zoey from him walk into the house. James stood still waiting for her to leave or go to another room so he could get the fuck out of this house.
