Blu stared at James who stared back. “You’re going to ruin everything.” “What makes you think that?” “The Parkers know you James. If they see you they’ll know it’s you. They’ll take Kathie away again!” James laughed as he looked at the house near the coffee shop. Blu still had no idea how he had managed to follow her here. “I’m different now. They won’t recognize me.” Blu shook her head. “There’s nothing you know that I don’t.” James smirked as he looked at his watch. “Are you sure about that?” Blu looked at him confused, “Why do you continue to look at your watch?” James leaned against the table close to her face and smiled, “Kathie’s parents are coming here to this very café in about five minutes.” “How-” “I thought there wasn’t anything I knew that you didn’t.” “Is that why you lied to the guys and told them you’d be with Casey?” James stared at her. “You guys lied to me first! How could you not tell me you had found her!?” “James it wasn’t anything official yet. I didn’t know if those where the real Parkers, I couldn’t give you false hopes.” “ Well, we know they’re the real deal. What is that detective waiting for then?” “I don’t know.” “Where did you even find this detective anyway?” Blu thought back to that day. “Actually he kind of found me.”

Blu was sitting on one of the library’s computers. She figured this would be the safest way to look for information about the Parkers. She had been looking for addresses for about an hour. “There’s too many Parkers. They made a smart move. They knew it would be harder to find them with this last name.” She let out a soft sigh and let her hand fall on the table. Her hands where sore from all the typing she had done. “Excuse me Miss, you dropped this.” Blu looked up and saw a man I his mid-thirties smiling at her. “Oh I didn’t drop…” She stopped as she saw her pen was in fact missing. I guess I did. Thank you.” She minimized the window when she saw him looking at the screen. “Pardon, I didn’t mean to be nosey. It looks like you’re looking for something.” “ it’s a school project.” “You haven’t been to school in a while.” “Excuse, me?” He cleared his throat. “What I mean was, it doesn’t look like you’re a high school girl.” Blu raised an eyebrow questioningly. What was with this dude? He took a hand out of his pocket. “Detective ,Marcus Freeman. I can help you find anyone anywhere around the world.” James frowned, “No offence but that sounded super creepy and suspicious.” Blu looked at him confused. “What would a detective be doing at a public library?” “Looking for information?” “Blu, I’ve seen enough detective movies to know detectives don’t really search for things in a library, they have their home gadget things for that.” Blu raised an eyebrow, “Gadget things? I think you’ve been watching the wrong detective movies.” “ Just listen, they mainly just follow the people that they’ve been hired to find. They follow them wanting to know all about the person they’re supposed to find.” “ You’re making no sense.” “ Blu-” They were interrupted by a car door closing. James froze in his seat and his eyes turned mad with hatred. Blu looked at the people who were getting out of the car. “James calm down. Those are just-” “The Parkers.” Blu laughed, “No they’re not. Those are the Davidson’s. I heard from Marcus they’re very important business people. Their main offices are here in England.” “ Are you sure about that?” Blu shrugged. Blue smiled and looked at him. “They are the Parkers.” James turned to see a middle aged couple walking up to the café. James turned and smirked at Blu. “What?” “They’ve had you fooled.”
