Our faith will silence the doubt

Blu looked down at her phone blushing. She felt CC´s eyes on her and she felt herself start to blush more. Did he have to keep looking at her? It had been two months since Black Veil Bride’s last appearance in the UK and they were back for their second concert. They were going to perform soon so the guys were warming up and doing their makeup. She jumped up startled as her phone rang. She quickly stood up, ¨Excuse me…¨ She went to the far corner trying to get out of hearing rage. ¨Hello?¨ ¨Mrs. Blu Sterling?¨ ¨Yes…¨ ¨This is detective Marcus. How is your day?¨ ¨Fine, thank you. And yours?¨ ¨My job keeps my day interesting.¨ ¨Oh, that´s good….I think.¨ ¨As a matter of fact it is, I´m sure you´ll be happy with the news I´m about to give you.¨ Blue´s heart seemed to skip a beat. “Have they found her yet?¨ ¨I´m afraid not. But I think I´ve found Mr. and Mrs. Parker.¨ Blu gasped, that was the best news she´d had all year!¨ ¨Really, where?¨ ¨Wales England.¨ Blu felt happy tears running down her face. ¨I´m in London as we speak, tell me is that far from where I´m at?¨ ¨If I´m not mistaken it´s about four hours away. But I recommend that you don´t go there in person.¨ ¨Why not? They don´t really know me, and I look nothing like my cousin.¨ ¨Still if I could accompany you, I would be a bit more relaxed.¨ ¨Very well, when should we leave?¨ ¨Is tomorrow morning okay with you?¨ ¨Of course!¨ ¨Very well I´ll see you at the starbucks café at eight.¨ “Thank you, thank you so much!” Blu hung out and gripped the phone, “I’ll find you soon bubbles.” She opened her eyes and standing there in front of her was none other than CC. She gasped and let out a small scream. CC busted out laughing. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you!” Blu scowled, his face clearly said otherwise. “What’s up?” “Nothing…” CC frowned, “It’s about Kathie isn’t it? Come on you gotta tell me!” “No I don’t. It’s none of your business.” “She’s like family to me, anything to do with her is my business.” Blu and CC stared at each other.
Ashley walked into the room and looked at Blu and CC, they were clearly having a staring contest. “10 bucks that Blu wins.” Jinxx walked in and looked at Ashley. “What’s up?” “Staring contest.” “Cool, I bet on CC!” “You’re on!” Jake yawned as he walked into the room. He stopped confused, “Umm…” Jinxx grinned, “Come on CC don’t make me lose my ten bucks!” CC moved closer to Blu, “Tell me!” Blu shook her head. “Tell him what?” “She knows something about Kathie!” Ashley looked at Jake. “Blu…” Blu looked up frowning. “I. Can’t.” “Of course you can!” “No! I don’t want to give you guys false hopes!” “We don’t care about that, just tell us what you know!” “no!” “What’s going on here?” Everyone looked at Andy who stood in the doorway.” CC stared at Blu, “She knows something about Kathie and she won’t tell us.” Andy stood up straight and looked at Blu. “Blu…” “I don’t want you guys to get your hopes up.” “Please…” Blu closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh, “Fine…Just sit.”
“Andy you can’t go. Tammy knows who you are now. If she sees you she’ll know we’ve found her. I have to go.” Andy stared at the floor tapping his foot impatiently. “I can’t let you go alone!” “I won’t be going alone, I’ll be with the detective.” CC frowned, “Like that’s going to make us feel better. Can’t we all go when we come back to the UK next week?” “No I have to know if they have her. I can’t wait another week.” Andy let out a soft sigh. “She’s right. Who knows if Kathie is being tortured, we have to, I don’t know.” He stood up. “Blu we’re counting on you. Call me as soon as you know anything.” Blu nodded. “Will do.” Andy combed his hair back with his fingers, “Please, if you see her. Tell her I love her.” “Do you think she’s really okay?” Andy looked at Jinxx, “I hope she is. We’ll know soon.” James walked into the room. “Guys you’re on in ten minutes.” The guys nodded. James walked out and Andy looked at everyone. “James can’t know anything got it? If he knows we may have found her, he’ll want to stay. And we can’t have that. We all know how crazy he can get.” Everyone nodded. Andy looked at Blu and smiled. Kathie, they were finally going to get her back. James walked down the hallway a cig in his hand. ¨So you were trying to hid her from me. We´ll see who finds her first.¨
Blu changed the radio station for what seemed like the tenth time. “Are we there yet?” “No, please Miss. Sterling, could you stop playing with the radio?” “Sorry, I guess I’m a little nervous.” “I understand. Now let’s go over our plan once again.” “I know the plan already. I just want to get there and get this over with. I have to know if they have her. How much longer?” “About fifteen minutes. Now please, you must stay calm. We can’t have this fail. If you want to find your cousin, you have to do everything I tell you too. Okay?” “Okay I got it.” Blu closed her eyes, would the plan even work? She didn’t care, she would do anything to get Kathie back.
Fifteen minutes later they arrived at a small house. This is where the Parkers lived? This was nothing like their house in the US. She watched as detective Marcus put his hat on and took a catalog out of his briefcase. “Now remember the back window should be open. They like the cool air to come in.” “Yeah yeah, just go!” She watched as the detective knocked on the front door. She was now out of the car and hiding behind it. She watched the detective smile and talk to the Parkers. Hmm…they were different from what she remembered. When they smiled and welcomed the detective in she rushed to the back of the house. The window was…closed. Blu slowly cursed to herself and tried to open it. Nothing. After about five minutes of doing everything she could to open the window she finally gave up. “Damn it!” She took herself phone out and started to write a message to the detective. She suddenly froze as she heard a car pull up. She peaked out from behind the house and saw a couple walking to the front door. The woman was arguing with the man. She wore dark glasses, a gray unbuttoned coat, a black dress, with black flats, her hair was up in a neat bun. She looked, like a total bitch. The man on the other hand looked like…well a total loser. The woman clearly wore the pants in the relationship. The man had a bald spot on his forehead and he looked really nervous, like he was scared. He nodded at the woman slowly talking back to her. The woman finally stopped at the door step and plastered a fake smile on her face. She took her black gloves off and put them inside her coat. She took her glasses off as she knocked on the front door. Blu squinted trying to get a better view. She felt she knew that woman.
Blu sat at a table at a nearby cafe as she waited for detective Marcus to pick her up. That woman…she knew her from somewhere, but where? She looked up as she heard a car passing by. The woman from earlier was driving. The woman looked at her seeming a bit surprised. The man said something to her and she blinked. She looked at Blu once again and shook her head as she answered the man. Blu looked at them confused. Detective Marcus drove up and frowned, “I don’t think those are the Parkers we were looking for.” Blu got in the car handing him his coffee.” “What do you mean?” He drove away from the coffee shop thinking. “Well as the good business man I am, I asked them if they had a daughter, as I showed them the perfumes and hair products. But they said they didn’t have a daughter. That they couldn’t be parents. That brought on a conversation I didn’t want to hear….” Blu stopped listening to the detective as she saw the woman park in a driveway a few feet from them. She woman kept arguing with her husband as she walked to the front door of their house. The woman looked at Blu as she was about to walk in her house. She smiled and waved at Blu. Blue kept looking at her as if hypnotized. ¨Marcus?¨ ¨Yes?¨ ¨Who were those people that came in?¨ He stopped at a stop sign. ¨The Davidson´s? They´re very important business people, their company is located in England. They wanted to live in the country because they were sick of the city.¨ ¨Do they have any children?¨ ¨Not that I heard of. They wanted the Parkers to keep an eye on their house because they were going to England this weekend. They seem to be very close friends.¨ Mrs. Davidson stared at Blu before going into her house. ¨Just who are you Mrs. Davidson, why do I feel I know you?¨
