Happy (Andy Biersack love story)

He hesitates through gritted teeth "what do you want to know" he asks.

"Just about everything that happened" I say twisting my fingers with my hands.

He's silent for a moment. He looks deep in thought before he speaks again "we dated".

"Obviously" I say.


"Well" she moved to New York, to follow her dreams" he said "and we met".

He doesn't talk and I decide not to pressure him into the topic. After ten minutes or so, he talks again.

"It was the drugs" he says "I really screwed that girls life up, now I can't even take it back?".

"Drugs?" I say.

"Im pretty sure your little friend next door has told you all about that" he says with a sarcastic bitterness in his voice.

"I don't listen to anything he tells me" I say.

"Why not?" He asks.

"Because its not his story to tell, its yours. I just dont think its his business” I say “He was obviously caught in the casualties. And it was sad for him to lose someone he loves, But his opinion is very bias”.

We sit in silence for a little. I don’t mind. Its obviously a touchy subject for him to talk about. His beautiful features peer out the window with utter sorrow on his face. He sighs.

“We met at a club” He says “She was new here and I just wanted to be nice. I wasn't the best person back then. She wanted to be cool, and tried things. It started with the simple things, She would smoke with me now and again. Then she found other drugs outside of the pot, ya know? I tried to help her. I really did, But I was just as in as she was. Your friend Braden, We used to be best friends. Ivy tore us apart. He never agreed with the drugs, And with his love towards Ivy. It drove us apart”.

I can hardly say a word about the matter. Drugs, They tore a friendship apart, and took a sweet life away from us. Andy looks at me with sad and hopeful eyes.He tilts his head sideways and begs for forgiveness with his crystal blue eyes, Almost childlike.

“Its okay baby” I say rubbing back.

“I am so lucky” He says.

“How so?” I ask.

“I am so lucky to have someone as amazing as you, And I don't deserve it” He says.

“Oh shut up” I say kissing his head and turning the music all the way up

A couple of CD’s and a day of driving later, I can see the horizon of my old town. The memories come flooding back. My friends, My sister, Times with my parents. Its too much to handle. Knowing ill never see them alive and breathing again, Hurts me so much. Ill never get to hear my dad tell Andy to watch himself. I never get to see my mom shake her head at me again. Fuck I am going to miss it. I pull out my phone to dial my sister.

“Fawn” He says almost immediately, I hear loud music and voices.

“Autumn, Where are you? Is that a party?” I say.

“No, I mean yes. I mean its not mine!” She says defensively, I roll my eyes.

“Where am I picking you up?” I ask.

she's silent for a moment “Addams and Ashley’s”.

“What the hell made you think it was a good idea to go there?” I yell into the phone.

Addam was a sweet kid, My sisters best friend and boyfriend. He wasn't what I was worried about. He was a total dweeb. Ashley was my problem. Ashley was a friend. My best friend actually. I love the guy, But I knew how much of a party animal Ashley was. They guys was all about sex, alcohol, and woman. It was no place for my little sister to be.

“Ill be there in five minutes” I say and hang up.

I grown as soon as I get off of the phone “What's wrong?” Andy asks.

“Ashley” I say.

“Who’s she?” He says.
“More like He” I say “Hes my best friend, and trouble maker, that my sister is with. I think hes having a party”.

He mouths an O with with his lips and continues driving.
