Let You Down

I sigh, laying back on my bed. For the first time in the 16 years I've been alive, I feel beautiful and just loved. I run my fingers over the marks Ashley's teeth left in my teeth, smiling. Why must I fall in love with a vampire. He's perfect in every aspect, in every way I could have dreamed possible. This is all so new to me, I just don't want to ruin it by rushing it.
"Nyx..." I hear Andy's deep voice float through the door, just dripping with slip. In response I snap my fingers, letting the doors swing open. He chuckles softly, walking through the door, pajama bottoms loosely hanging off his frail frame. I smile and wave him over to the bed, he sits by me, helping me sit up.
"Nyx... I need you to know... Ashley, is in love with you. Please just don't hurt him... I've never seen him so love, so entranced by anyone. So please, I'm begging you..." Andy say quietly, I have a feeling these two are best friends. I just smile before standing up, my body frail, and the bruises dark. I wave my hands over my body with a soft sigh, blushing as I show him the scars that line my entire body.
"You see all this? This is from the last 16 years of my life..." I say quietly with a shiver, "I've been abused, in every way you can think of except sexually. I have one mark I'm proud of, and only one..." I mutter before brushing hair away to let Andy see Ashley's puncture marks. I look down shyly as Andy gasps, he stands up and brushes my neck with with his finger tips. Ashley by chance walks in at that exact moment and blushes deeply.
"Ashley what did you do..." Andy mutters, looking him. I can tell something happened I just honestly don't know much. Ashley grabs, and pushes me behind him, keeping one hand on my hip.
"Don't start Andy, I know what I did... I don't have a reason, except I know there's something especial about her." Ashley growls, baring his teeth at his best friend.
"You gave her eternal life the eternal life that was meant for your wife!!" Andy screams, before rushing out of the room and I just look at Ashley, more than completely shocked.
"You did what Ashley!!!" I whisper softly, and he looks at me with almost tears in his eyes. He turns quickly, and rushes out of the room before I can say another word. I drop to my knees sobbing, he gave me eternal life... Not just any eternal life, the eternal life built of love. The most sacred, most special, most intense life... I have to tell him, I believe in love at first sight. I don't know why and I sure as hell don't really understand it, but I do know one thing. Ashley will have me by his side till I vanish from this world in every form... Scrambling to my feet, I burst through the walls, to see Ashley a wreck on his bed. His eyes red from sobbing, his whole body shaking, curled in a ball cuddling a pillow. He looks like his world just shattered. I slowly make my way to his side, careful not to disturb him. He's so sad...
"Ash... can I tell you something?" I say, sitting down next to him. He looks up at me with a sigh, before laying his head back down on the pillow, the room feels like it's suddenly dropped an extra 10 degrees. I'm barely able to keep my teeth from chattering, why is this happening...
"Nyx... Are you okay??" Ashley says, quickly pulling me into his arms and straight under the covers. He strokes my hair softly as I struggle to get the words that need to be said out.
"A-Ash.. I-I love... l-love y-you..."
