Let You Down

I wake up chilled to the bone, why do Vampires have to like it so fucking cold all the time. Are they just trying to get every human to freeze?? I groan, stretching my tight muscles, pushing away just a bit from Ashley. He wakes up suddenly, although my movement was that to be of concern. He turns to look at me, his eyes purple making me giggle softly. He does look incredibly odd with bright purple eyes. He reaches his hand out, softly stroking my cold cheek with the back of his hand causing my cheeks to heat with a soft blush. I groan looking over to the clock, 7pm. Maybe it’s late enough to finally get up. I’ve got to learn a Vampires sleeping schedule if I am to stay here.
“Morning Nyx…” Ashley yawns as I settle back down into his arms, almost purring from the warmth of his body. He kisses my cheek softly before pulling the covers up over us, causing me to giggle as I feel his nose nuzzle into my neck. I gently brush my hair away, I know he’s hungry, and honestly, him feeding from me isn’t as bad as one might think it’d be. It’s actually pretty, great. “Ash… go ahead…” I say softly before I feel his teeth press gently into my skin. It’s just soft pressure, but it feels amazing almost like I’m connected to him in a way. Soft moans escape his lips as he slowly drinks his fill. He’s really kinda cute when he feeds…
“T-thank you Nyx…” Ashley says with a soft sigh, before I lay myself down completely in his arms. I just smile. He’s great to be honest, he’s all I could have ever wished for if I had known I’d want someone to hold me. I roll over to my side, facing him, his eyes locking on mine. The deep hazelnut color locking onto my dark green eyes, there’s unspoken tension, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever felt. So before he can say a single word more I press my lips to his, our lips moving in a rhythm so perfect so beautiful it leaves me wanting more before the kiss is even done. A soft moan escapes my lips, as he wraps his arms around me, pressing our bodies together. These moments with him are magical, and honestly are something I never thought would ever happen to me.

Of course I have to ruin it, like I always do. I fall through him and the mattress ending up straight under the bed. I just laugh, scrambling to get off the dusty floor; pulling me up he hugs me tightly. I just keep giggling, before kissing his cheek.
“You need to practice with your talent Nyx, don’t want you falling through the bed every morning now do we?” He says teasingly, making me blush. I just shrug before scampering to my room and closing the doors behind me with a swoosh of my hand, I flop myself down on my bed. I close my eyes with a smile on my face, my heart full of love. This is something oh so new… This is something I never want to let go of. He’s becoming my world, he’s holding my heart in the palm his hand...
