Remembering Yesterday

Zoey yawned as she sat on Joe’s couch. He and CC were in the kitchen practicing their lines for the first episode of Average Joe. Andy walked in like he owned the place and Zoey giggled. He grinned at her, “What? I have to get in character.” She laughed as Andy started practicing his lines, clearly not taking it seriously. Joe looked at them frowning. “Guys, we’re trying to shoot a master piece here.” CC nodded, “Yeah all this laughing is making us lose focus.” Andy grabbed Zoey’s hand pulling her off the couch. “Come on princess, these guys don’t know how to relax.” The guys laughed as Andy walked out the door pulling Zoey along. They walked hand in hand down the hallway as Andy softly mumbled some words. Zoey smiled, “I like that, are those lyrics to a new song?” Andy grinned, “Yup. It’s a song I’ve been working on.” Zoey nodded, “Sounds good so far, what is it about?” He looked down at her smiling, “The love of my life.” Zoey felt her heart shattering. So it was about Juliet? “Oh…well I’m sure she’ll love it.” “I sure hope so.” Zoey sat on the stair case. “Juliet will go crazy when she hears it.” Andy frowned, so that’s why Zoey was sad. He sat beside her and intertwined his fingers with hers. “You’re the love of my life Kathie Sterling.” She gasped, “Are you serious!?” Andy leaned close to her his lips inches from hers. She closed her eyes closing the space between them. And that was their first kiss. It was wonderful, and that’s when Zoey knew what people meant when they felt that spark. Her heart felt as if it were going to explode out of her chest. His lips seemed to mold into hers perfectly as if they were made for each other. After what seemed like an eternity she leaned away trying to catch her breath. Andy gasped softly, “wow.” She looked at him smiling and that´s when she knew everything would be okay. He grabbed her hand smiling. ¨Let´s make this a never ending thing. Just you and me, remembering yesterday.¨

Zoey yawned as she lay down on Andy’s bed. Doing chores was hard. She watched James run past the door. “What’s the hurry!?” James jogged backwards stopping at the door. “I gotta pee!” He ran away as soon as the words were out of his mouth and Zoey laughed. She closed her eyes as she heard the door open and Jinxx’s laughed echoed throughout the house. Andy had called the guys over telling them he had already written two songs for the next album. “Honey I’m home!” Zoey laughed and called back, “I missed you baby!” Jinxx laughed and she heard a thud. She heard a soft giggle and smiled, finally another girl in the house. She stood up running to the living room. She hugged Sammi. “Finally another girl to talk to.” “I know right? Boys just don’t know what good advice is.” Zoey smirked, “Tell me about it.” Jinxx put his arm around Andy’s shoulder. “Pff, come on man, let’s give these girly’s a little privacy.” They headed into the kitchen and Zoey sat on the couch with Sammi.
Andy sat on the table swaying his feet back and forth like a little kid. Jinxx opened the fridge and took a beer out, he looked at Andy who nodded. He tossed a beer at Andy who caught it in one swift movement. “Wow, nice. I see Zoey has been teaching you her cheerleading moves.” Andy chuckled. “Kathie.” Jinxx raised an eyebrow at him confused, “We’ve been calling her Kathie. That’s her real name after all.” Jinxx nodded, “Ah I get it. It will be harder for her crazy mom to find her that way, right?” Andy nodded as he took a sip of his beer. “I guess you could say we’re all clear, right?” Andy shook his head, “I don’t think so. I don’t know why, but I feel like this battle’s not over yet.” Jinxx nodded and sat beside his best friend. “I think your right. Have a plan yet?” Andy shook his head, “None, how about you?” Jinxx shook his head. Andy let out a soft sigh. “What about Juliet?” Andy looked at Jinxx, “What about her?” “Have you broken up with her?” Andy shook his head. “No, I haven’t been able to reach her. She’s been busy recording songs for her new album.” Jinxx nodded, “Or she’s avoiding you.” “I know. I really want this to end, quick. I want Kathie to be mine, officially. I want her joining me on award shows, at concerts, I want to go out with her in public and show her off to the media.” Jinxx smiled, “That would be great. It’s a great feeling. That’s how I feel when I’m with my little doll.” Andy nodded as he took his phone out. “I’ll try to call her again.”
