Bullets in a Music Box

Nashville, TN [Part One]

The energy on the bus was lively and loud. It was around two in the afternoon and we just arrived in Nashville. We have the day off and I plan to spend it in the warmth of Tennessee. I was dancing around to the music, which for some reason was Thrift Shop. Andy was laughing his ass off as I attempted to twerk to the music, and let me tell you, I can't twerk. Ashley was up and dancing, so was CC. Jake and Jinxx were on the couch with Andy.

"Please, white girls should never twerk," Jake laughed and I flipped him off and continued dancing.

"You three are getting your workout, damn," Jinxx commented and I put my arms up to the music.

"Hey look, it's your mom's record label," I heard Jake say and I stopped dancing to look. And lo and behold, there it was. The overly large building that my mother owns.

"Do we really have to be in this part of Nashville?" I asked as I sat down on the couch next to Andy.

"We didn't decide what hotel we are staying in, so yeah, we do," he said and patted my back.

"I was set on never seeing my mother again," I said.

"Just cause we're in the same city doesn't mean you have to see her," Ashley said.

"Well, see, she knows I'm dating Andy, and she knows of your band, so she's probably going to be at the show tomorrow," I said. Andy groaned and I nodded.

"That is going to be me the second I see her," I smiled and then Jon appeared from the front of the bus.

"We're here. You guys have the entire day off, please do not get arrested," Jon said and then he walked off the bus. I looked at all five of them and we all burst into laughter.

"Since I grew up here, I know of all the best bars in this town, so, who wants to get plastered tonight?" I asked. All of them raised their hands and I smiled as I stood.

"You're our personal tour guide," CC said.

"Whoa, I never agreed to that," I said.

"Come on! You know this city better than the actual tour guides," he said. I gave him and look and he cringed back.

"Fine," he muttered and walked to the back of the bus where the suitcases are.

"Can you be my personal tour guide?" Andy asked as we walked to the suitcases.

"Maybe," I said. I grabbed my suitcase and walked off the bus, which was probably a bad idea, since there were fans everywhere. Damn. They all began screaming loudly as someone came off the bus. I glanced behind me and saw Andy. Of course they all scream for him. He caught up with me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we pushed through the fans and into the hotel.

"You'd think I'd be used to that," I said and Andy chuckled before going to the desk and getting our room keys. When he returned, I was staring at my mother, who was standing by the elevators.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I muttered and Andy gave me a look.

"What?" He asked. I pointed and when he looked he nodded.

"You can still avoid her," he said.

"How?" I asked.

"We could use the stairs," he said. I looked at him with that 'are you serious' look and he held his hands up.

"It was just a suggestion," he said. I sighed and began walking towards the elevators. Andy had his hand in mine and as we got closer to my mother, I saw her smile get bigger and bigger.

"Sadee," she said and held her arms out. I pushed the up button on the elevator and tried to ignore her.

"Sadee, do not ignore me," she got a stern tone. I can get through this, just don't look at her. Andy rubbed his thumb over my hand and I swallowed.

"Fine, hi Andy," she said. I felt him turn his head and I knew he smiled at her.

"Tell Sadee that I'm happy to see her, since she's obviously ignoring me," she said. Andy nodded and the elevator opened. I walked onto the elevator and waited for Andy. When he walked on, he hit the button for our floor and the doors closed.

"I see you're taking the whole ignore your mom thing seriously," he said.

"I hate that woman," I said through gritted teeth. When the elevator stopped, we both got off and walked to our room. I walked inside and immediately flopped onto the bed. It was a king size bed and it was super comfortable. As I laid there, I could feel all of my muscles relax.

"Is the bed comfy?" Andy asked.

"Oh my god yes," I said and rolled over onto my side so I was looking at Andy. He was standing at the TV and was staring at me.

"Don't move," he said and held his phone up and took a picture.

"Where are you putting that picture?" I asked.

"Instagram and Twitter," he said.

"Tag me in it," I said and rolled onto my back. Going from being in the bunk to being in hotels with damn good beds was really taking a toll on my back.

"You should give me a massage," I said.

"I should?" He asked.

"If you really loved me you would," I said. He gave me a look before climbing onto the bed.

"Fine," he said and I smiled before sitting up and moving to sit in between Andy's legs. He began massaging my back and I closed my eyes. Holy fuck that feels so good. My pocket began to vibrate and it soured my mood for a second. I grabbed it and answered it.

"Hello," I said.

"Hi Aunt Sadee," I heard. Charlie, but he can't call me.

"How are you calling me?" I asked.

"I got released this morning," he said.

"Gotcha. What's up?" I asked.

"I got your bracelet," he said.

"And what do you think?" I asked.

"I love it," he said.

"Good, Andy helped me pick it out. Remember it's our promise bracelet, I'm getting one made for myself so I can have it too," I said.

"Cool. So, I have a question," he said.

"Shoot," I said.

"What does Tyler mean when he says I have potential to make it big?" He asked. That's right, Charlie did a demo.

"Usually when a label head says that, they mean they are thinking of signing you," I said.

"I'm gonna get signed?" He asked.

"Maybe, Tyler might also mean that he is going to release your demo to see what kind of reaction it gets," I told him and he sighed.

"Oh, but I could still get signed?" He asked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Technically, yes, but don't take my word for it," I said. Andy wrapped his arms around my chest and pulled me back so I was resting against his chest.

"Lauren's making me go to a support group," he said.

"Are you gonna go?" I asked.

"Should I?" He asked.

"Charlie, in my honest opinion, yes, you should go. Those kids are going through similar things, you could make friends," I said.

"It meets every other day," he said.

"Even weekends?" I asked.

"Even weekends. I don't want to go though," he said.

"It might help you," I said.

"Doubtful," he said. I rolled my eyes and then there was a loud knock on the door. Andy climbed out from behind me and answered the door.

"Where are you right now?" Charlie asked.

"Nashville," I said.

"Your hometown," he said.

"Yeah," I drew out the word and watched the door, Andy came back in, but so did Ashley and CC.

"Come on Sadee, let's go get drunk off our asses," CC said.

"I'm guessing you need to go?"

"Yeah, but I will talk to you later, I promise," I said.

"Alright, bye Aunt Sadee," he said and hung up. I dropped my phone into my lap and looked at the three men standing before me.

"Do we want to just get drunk and that's it? Or do we want to get drunk and dance while eating and having a shit ton of fun?" I asked.

"Dumb question Sadee," Ashley said and plopped down on the bed next to me.

"Fine then, my choice," I said.

"No, we want to have fun," Andy said. I rolled my eyes while smiling at them. These guys are what keep me alive on this tour, I swear.

Notes

Alrighty, so I have decided to make then be in Nashville for three chapters. This one and the next one is on their day off, kinda. Half of the next one is on their day off, the other half is the next day. Then the third chapter will be the concert and a meet and greet, that Sadee will take part in.

Now, it has been mainly happy and relaxed and shit. Do not fear my awesome readers! The drama and sadness is coming in the next like six or so chapters! I am warning you ahead of time, one, maybe more, people will die. I am going to let that brew in your mind as it eats away because of the suspense and not knowing who dies! Just kidding, I know it sounds mean, but, I am warning you so you don't cry as hard. :)

Sadee's outfit for the hotel, and for drinking with the band in the first half of the next chapter. (I'll post it again in the next chapter):
