Bullets in a Music Box

Warm, bright sunlight shined down on my back as I walked around, hand in hand with Andy at the Pemberton Music Festival in Vancouver. We were given the day off to roam around Vancouver, and I decided I wanted to go to this festival. As we walked around, I felt Andy let go of my hand and then put his arm around my shoulders. It was just the two of us, for now, and I was enjoying the shit out of it. I put my arm around his waist and we stopped at the back of a crowd. No one has noticed it was us, so we were safe.

“This is relaxing,” I heard Andy mutter under his breath.

“It is. We should do this more,” I said.

“I agree. When we get back to LA, we are going to go to the beach every day, and we are going to spend a shit ton of time together, alone, before you get into the studio,” he said.

“But, I wanna get the EP done before the end of the year,” I said.

“You have all of the lyrics and all of the music, you just need to record it. Which you can do in like a week. Then it’s the editing shit and then you release it,” he said.

“But-”

“No buts. We are going to spend time together, alone. Something we haven’t been able to do,” he said.

“Andy,” I whined.

“Don’t argue with me Sadee, we are gonna do it. And if it makes you feel better, you can invite Zara and CC every once in a while,” he said. I dropped my head and sighed.

“I’m not gonna win this, am I?” I asked.

“Nope,” he popped the ‘p’ and I could hear him smirking.

“Ass wipe,” I muttered and looked up at him.

“But I’m your ass wipe,” he smirked and gave me a kiss.

“So, when are the rest of them showing up?” I asked. He widened his eyes and looked at his phone.

“Um, in a half hour,” he said. I nodded and rested my head on his shoulder. My focus then turned to the band that was on stage and how bad they were.

“This band kind of sucks,” I said. Andy moved his head and watched the band.

“They do. They aren’t even interacting with the crowd,” he said. I wrapped both of my arms around his waist and took a deep breath. To be honest, I was completely relaxed and happy. The last few months have sucked. From the Ashley thing to the Jackson thing to the not telling Andy thing. But now, we are better. We can do things like this and not be awkward.

“What are you thinking about?” Andy’s voice tore me from my thoughts and I looked up at him.

“What?” I asked.

“You’re biting your lip, what are you thinking about?” He rubbed my arm and I shrugged.

“Nothing important,” I said and he stared at me for a second before grabbing my hand and pulling me from our spot and back towards the entrance.

“Why are we walking back to the entrance?” I asked.

“Because Ashley just texted me that they are here, and that they have something awesome to tell you, or Zara and Callum have something to tell you,” he said. I rolled my eyes and we basically ran back to the entrance and met up with the rest of them.

“Hello my friends,” I said and Zara gave me a weird look from behind her overly large sunglasses.

“What kind of drugs have you taken today?” She asked.

“None. I’m just in a good mood. So what is this awesome thing you have to tell me?” I asked.

“We’re performing at this festival later tonight,” Callum said.

“What?” I asked.

“Yep, we have a stage to do our acoustic show on. And apparently we have a full crowd. Bigger than all the rest,” Callum told me and my eyes got wide.

“Seriously? Oh my god, this is amazing!” I exclaimed and jumped in my spot.

“You are never this excited to be performing a small show like this,” Zara said.

“Well, this time, our men can watch us,” I put my arm around her shoulders and she smiled.

“I guess so. Alright, we have to go and do an interview thing and then sound check and stuff, so, let’s go and get our shit done,” Zara said and I followed her towards the stage where we are performing.




The chair that I was sitting on was beginning to bug me. It was hard and uncomfortable. But we’re being interviewed, and have been for almost an hour. Zara was super interested in what the interviewer was saying and Callum was half there. Me on the other hand, well, I was not paying any attention. I kept glancing up at Andy, who was standing behind the camera. He had his arms crossed over his chest and had a happy scowl on his face. I say happy scowl because he was trying to look all badass, but you can tell he is happy about something. Out of nowhere, I felt something hit my leg that brought me back.

“What?” I looked at Zara, who had kicked me.

“You were asked a question,” she said. I looked at the interviewer and smiled.

“Sorry, what did you ask?” I asked.

“It’s alright, lots of stuff on the minds of those who are touring. I asked what you are most excited about for your upcoming EP,” she asked.

“Oh, um, I’m excited for our music to go out to the world, in an official way. Having people know our songs from our tour shows is great, but I would love to one day have our own tour, like Black Veil Brides,” I said.

“Well you guys are doing a mini tour of acoustic shows, all on your own,” she said.

“Oh, I know. I meant a bigger tour, around the world. Over a hundred shows. That kind of tour,” I said.

“Ah. Well, I know I’m not the only one who is excited for your EP. Thank you for sitting down with us today. I understand you guys are performing on this stage later tonight. Why don’t you go off and practice those great songs you have for us,” she said and then the camera cut off. I got out of the chair and stretched.

“Distracted much. What were you staring at?” Zara asked.

“What do you think?” I asked.

“If Andy distracted you while in an interview, imagine what’s going to happen at the show tonight,” she said.

“I’m going to be fine. He’s going to be on the side lines, which means, I can’t see him. So therefore, I can’t be distracted by something I can’t see,” I said and we were ushered over to a table that had some ear pieces and microphones for us. I grabbed my ear pieces and my mic from the table before turning around and seeing Andy and CC walking over.

“Nice save in that interview,” he chuckled before giving me a peck on the cheek.

“I can’t help it that I have an extremely attractive boyfriend who was making it difficult to focus on someone who was asking the worlds most boring questions,” I said.

“That extremely attractive boyfriend must be one lucky guy to get you all distracted from questions about that EP you are oh so excited about,” he smirked and I looked up at him.

“He is one lucky guy. I mean have you seen me? I am a smoking hot piece of human,” I smirked and Andy laughed.

“You two have a seriously twisted relationship. Damn,” Zara commented and I smiled at her.

“You and CC will have this one day,” I said.

“Not too sure if I want that,” she pointed to us and I laughed.

“Okay you three, we have a show in ten minutes. Let’s get ready,” Callum said as he came into view.

“Party pooper,” I pouted and he gave me a look.

“Don’t give me that look,” I said.

“What look?” Callum asked.

“The dad look,” I said.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” he said. Now it was my turn to give him a look. He cringed back and I smirked.

“You have the dad look, I have the damaged girl look,” I smiled and danced in my spot.

“Not too sure if that is something to be proud of,” Callum said. I flipped him off and situated my ear pieces before coughing and clearing my throat. I looked around the area and saw Andy leaning against a speaker. As I walked over to him, he raised an eye brow and uncrossed his arms.

“What’s up Sadee?” He asked.

“It has been a month since we’ve had any sort of sex,” I said. He gave me a look and nodded.

“I know, what’s your point?” He asked.

“Since we are staying in a hotel tonight, we should have sex,” I said.

“Okay,” he said.

“Alright then. Now, do not make eye contact with me at all during this show or I might get distracted, and well, I’d rather not make a fool out of myself in front of that many people. So, yeah. And I am singing my new song, so please, do not judge me,” I said.

“Judge you? Is it a dirty song?” He asked.

“No, it’s kind of sad. And I wrote it while I was super upset when we were separated,” I said. When I said that, he looked at me and put his hands on my shoulders.

“I’m sure it’s great. Now, get your ass on that stage and sing, cause I know that if you don’t you’re going to go crazy. And I know that you enjoy days off, but your heart is in the music,” he kissed me and pushed me towards the stage. I scrunched up my face at him before smiling and turned to the stage. Andy and I don’t have a perfect relationship, far from it. I mean we began dating two weeks after each of us got out of long term relationships, then the whole Ashley thing and the Jackson thing. But we are soulmates, and I truly believe that.

Notes

So, I decided on a fun and happy chapter. Andy and Sadee showed their weird and goofy side. Sadee showed her sexually frustrated side. Andy just went with it. But I am planning on awesome fun time when they get back to LA, as in, the beach, and dates, and cute stuff. So beware of the cute that is to come.

I have no questions, this time. Just keep the ideas for what should happen in the next four chapters.
