Bullets in a Music Box

Seattle & Portland

Loud music, a lot of people, and alcohol surrounded me as I danced in my spot. It was after the show and we decided to party in the dressing room. I had a mixer in my hand and I was feeling good. Zara and I were two of the like five people actually standing and dancing. Which I don’t get why, since we are all overly awake and still have adrenaline running through our veins. The song changed and I got wide eyes. ‘Sing’ by Ed Sheeran began playing through the speakers and I cheered loudly. Zara gave me a weird look and I flipped her off as I sang along and danced.

“Ed Sheeran, really?” Zara asked.

“Yes, do you have a problem with my music taste?” I asked.

“No, but, what about metal music. Like screamo, and shit like that?” She asked.

“Do you see anyone else complaining about Ed Sheeran?” I asked. She looked around and sighed.

“Exactly, not shut it and shake your hips. Let’s make our men uncomfortable,” I smirked mischievously and Zara smirked at me. I moved my own hips to the music, not really paying attention, my mind was too excited about the song. As the song played, and Zara and I danced, I took another drink of my mixer, the feeling of the alcohol running down my throat felt amazing. When the song ended, I stopped dancing and looked at Zara, who was a little too into dancing.

“Hey Zara,” I put my hand on her shoulder.

“Yeah?” She asked.

“The song ended,” I said. She stopped moving and smiled sheepishly.

“How are you so good at dancing seductively without really trying?” She asked.

“Cause I know that if Andy were actually paying attention, I wouldn’t be alone right now,” I smiled and we both began walking over to the band.

“Teach me, Sadee, I need to know your secrets,” she whined and I chuckled.

“One step at a time young grasshopper, one step at a time,” I smirked and when I was in front of Andy, who was sitting on the couch, I looked down at him.

“Hello,” he said.

“You are not a very observant person, you know that right?” I asked as I sat down, half on him, half on the couch.

“How so?” He asked.

“I was dancing, way too seductively for a small thing like this, and I ended the song alone,” I pouted and he looked at me.

“Sadee, you don’t need to dance seductively, you are a, in your own words, smoking hot piece of human,” he smiled and gave me a kiss.

“Not the point. But in other news, Zara wants to know my secrets of how to dance seductively without really trying,” I said.

“Alcohol,” he chuckled and I nodded.

“Zara, the answer is alcohol. That is my secret,” I called over to her and she looked at me.

“I have alcohol in me, it doesn’t help,” she pouted and I smiled.

“Give it time, you and Coma here have only been dating like a month, while Biersack and I have been together for almost a year, ish,” I said.

“Since when do you call me Coma?” CC asked.

“Since right now,” I smiled.

“And if I say you can’t call me that?” He asked.

“CC, I don’t care, I’ll call you what I want, you know that,” I said.

“I know, but I thought I’d try,” he said.

“Good try,” I patted his shoulder and he rolled his eyes.

“What are we all in for tomorrow?” Zara asked.

“Radio interviews, two of them,” I held up two fingers and she groaned before hiding her face in CC’s shoulder.

“It’ll be not as boring as the thing in Vancouver, I promise. I’ll actually pay attention too,” I smiled and she laughed.

“Good, you are technically the band leader, and if you aren’t paying attention, it’s a bad sign,” Zara said.

“You and Callum can handle it,” I lazily waved at her and laid my head down in the nook of Andy’s neck.

“You two are way too cute, oh my god,” Zara said and I smiled.

“Thank you,” I said and she flipped me off.

“Now, you are hot and all, but I think Coma might be a bit mad at me, so would Andy,” I said.

“Sadee, really?” Zara asked.

“Yes,” I said. Andy moved his arm and put it around my waist and clasped his hands together before kissing the top of my head. The time was nearing one in the morning and I could tell that everyone was tired, me included. I closed my eyes for a second, but someone turned off the music and began talking.

“Alright guys, tonight’s shows were great, merch sold out, the crowd was huge and engaged. But, being the ass manager, I have to cut this whole party short and say, get on the buses, we have a show in Portland tomorrow,” Jon said and I sighed. As I sat up and stood, Andy followed with me. For some reason, I was really, really tired. Andy put his arm around my shoulders and I put my arm behind his back and rested my head on his shoulder. We walked out of the building and up onto the bus. I immediately went to the back lounge, changed into some shorts and a tank top, and walked out to mine and Andy’s bunk. Andy was out in the living area, which I don’t mind. But this girl is tired. I climbed up into the bunk and curled myself into a ball under the blanket, and within minutes, I was out.

Someone was moving next to me. My eyes opened slowly and when they focus, I saw Andy. He had climbed into the bunk. I took a breath and closed my eyes again. Andy kept moving around, probably trying to get comfortable, but it was keeping me from falling back asleep. After a minute or two, he stopped moving, and I was well on my way to sleep. Then I felt Andy run his hand down my face. He only ever does that cute stuff when he thinks I’m sleeping, but I’m really not. He then kissed my forehead and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his chest. I moved with ease. I curled my head into his chest and then felt Andy running his hand through my hair. A small smile grew on my face. I took one last big breath and fell back asleep.

The next morning, I opened my eyes and saw I was alone. Andy must have gotten up before me. I sighed before climbing out of the bunk and stretching. The bus was still moving which meant we were still driving. I walked to the living area and saw only Zara, who was half asleep, on the couch. As I sat down next to her, she opened her eyes and yawned.

“Did you just wake up or something?” I asked.

“Yeah. BVB is in the back lounge having some sort of band meeting or whatever. CC woke me up like an hour ago so he could get out of the bunk. I climbed down and have no energy to climb back up,” she said.

“What time is it?” I asked.

“Nine forty,” she said.

“Damn. I’m never up this early,” I said.

“You went to sleep right away when we got to the bus last night,” she said.

“I know. But I woke up when Andy climbed into the bunk, and smiled myself to sleep cause he was being super adorable,” I smiled and she looked at me.

“You and Andy need to stop being so damn adorable. It’s sickening sometimes,” she laughed and I smiled more.

“You and Coma are pretty cute together. Give it time, you’ll be just as sickeningly cute as Andy and I,” I smiled and rested my head on her shoulder. She rested her head on my head and turned on the TV. We sat there for a while before I heard the door to the back lounge slide open and then heard voices. I sighed and pulled my legs to my chest to make room for whoever wants to sit next to me. A few seconds later Jake and Ashley walked into the living area and looked at Zara and me.

“What?” I asked.

“Why are both of you awake right now?” Ashley asked.

“I woke up alone and decided I didn’t want to sleep anymore. So we’re watching TV,” I said. Ashley shrugged and sat down next to Zara. Jake sat down next to me and I sighed again.

“Do you have something on your mind? Or are you just sighing because you can?” Zara asked.

“Sighing just because I can,” I smiled and then Jon came into view.

“Don’t you two look comfortable. Come on, we have to talk about the radio interviews and some stuff,” Jon said and I groaned before climbing off the couch and walking towards the back lounge. Andy was laying in the bunk on his phone. I stuck my tongue out at him and he rolled his eyes. When I got into the back lounge, I saw Callum sitting on the couch, half asleep. I sat down next to him and he looked at me.

“Hi,” he said.

“Hi, tired?” I asked.

“Hell yeah,” he closed his eyes, but then Zara sat on the other side of him and he opened them.

“Okay you three, only a few small things to discuss. This radio interview isn’t just for the radio, it’s also being video taped. And, per Tyler’s request, you three are to dress up a little. Not too fancy, but not too casual. Don’t ask me why, Tyler told me to tell you that. But the interview is going to focus on your music you have now, the acoustic shows, and your hopes for the EP, sound and your plans for it,” Jon said as soon as he closed the door.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“I mean, you guys have your sound right now, but, what do you want the EP to sound like. Because studio and live versions of a song are different. So, what do you want it to sound like. And then just your plans, what you hope to accomplish with the EP. As well as any tours you plan to go on,” he said. I nodded and bit my lip.

“Well, we can say what tours we want to go on, but that doesn’t mean we’ll go on them,” Zara said.

“I know, but pretend you are going on the tour. But, moving on, I want to let you know that, when we get done with this tour, you guys do realize you’re going to have to find a new manager, right?” Jon asked.

“Yeah, you told us that you’ll be our temporary manager while on tour,” I said.

“Okay, as long as you realize that. Now. For the next few shows, we are extending your time on stage to 45 minutes instead of 30,” Jon said.

“Why?” I asked.

“Tyler is seeing how well you guys are doing on the tour, and how many people follow your band twitter as well as how much you are mentioned on the internet, and he wants you to get more stage time. Don’t ask me why Tyler decides this stuff, he just does. But, do you guys have any more questions?” Jon asked. I sat there, silent, and so did Callum and Zara. Jon nodded and opened the door.

“Good, now go get ready, we should be at the station in fifteen minutes,” he said.

“Fifteen minutes is not enough time to make me look fancy like,” I said.

“Make it work Sadee,” he said and left the room. I lounged down and sighed.

“Stop sighing Sadee, it makes me think something’s wrong,” Zara said. I smiled before getting up and walking over to our suitcases. I grabbed out a really cute mini dress and smiled. I haven’t had the chance to wear this, I bought it in Calgary because it is the cutest thing I’ve seen. As I walked back to the back lounge, Andy was climbing down from the bunk. He stretched and looked at me.

“Morning beanstalk,” I smiled and gave him a peck on the cheeks, which required me to stand on my tippy toes.

“Morning short one,” he smiled.

“Creative. So do you guys have to dress up for this interview?” I asked.

“No, why?” He asked.

“Cause we do. Tyler makes interviews so damn difficult,” I sighed.

“He does. But go get dressed, I don’t think that outfit is very fancy,” he said.

“I’m working on it,” I said and walked past him and quickly changed into the dress. Then I walked to the bathroom and straightened my hair and styled it. After applying a light coat of makeup, I walked back to my suitcase and grabbed a pair of heels. When I got out to the living area, Zara was dressed, and looked really pretty, and Callum was all dressed up as well. The bus stopped shortly after that and we all filed off the bus. This interview better be fun, or I might have to have a word with Tyler.

Notes

Good morning. It is currently 3 am where I am and I am posting this for you guys. :3 I am having way too much fun writing these laid back, fun chapters. And I also had a wee bit too much fun writing that cute paragraph of Sadee and Andy in the bunk. I thought about not putting it in, but then I was like, it's too cute to not, I want people to fangirl over it. So, enjoy fangirling. :P Anyways, I hope you enjoy it. And I hope you guys are liking these laid back chapters. I'm not planning on putting any drama in the next few chapters, so I am seriously hoping the fun and laid back chapters are an okay substitute for drama. :3

Now, I have been notified that you guys couldn't see the lyrics, so, I hope I fixed it.

Once again, I has no questions, but that doesn't mean you guys shouldn't comment me some ideas. I still do consider them. I am not done with this story, I am gonna try to get it to like seventy chapters? Maybe, possibly. Okay, I lied, I have on question. Does anyone actually look at the outfits I post? I have fun making them on polyvore, and I just wanna know if people are taking a look. :3
