Bullets in a Music Box

Seattle, WA [Part Two]

The restaurant of the hotel was busy and bright. There were huge windows along three of the walls, and there were big chandeliers above the tables. A lot of the guests of the hotel were sitting at the restaurant, but none of them noticed Andy and I. As I sat in my spot, the savory scent of a roast beef sandwich floated into my nose, making me dance in my spot. Andy gave me a weird look and I stared back.

"I told you, my stomach is going to eat itself," I said. He rolled his eyes and I gave him a look.

"Don't roll your eyes mister. I have no eaten since yesterday," I said.

"You were sleeping," he said.

"And? So were you. How are you not dying of hunger?" I asked.

"I'm hungry, don't get my wrong, but I can hide the hunger," he said. I flipped him off and he chuckled. We sat in silence for a little while before someone sat next to me and someone sat next to Andy. I looked up and saw Ashley and Jake.

"Good afternoon," I said.

"Good afternoon to you as well. What are you eating?" Ashley asked.

"I ordered a roast beef sandwich, but it's not here yet," I pouted and Andy chuckled.

"Are you still tired?" Jake asked.

"No, I'm awake, I'm just going to die of starvation," I put my head on the table and pouted more.

"Are we seeing the real Sadee Christian?" Jake asked.

"Shut it, I don't have the patience for sass today," I said.

"Says the girl who's dating Andy Biersack," Ashley said.

"I can handle his sass," I said and Ashley laughed. Then as if miracles actually happened, my food appeared. I swear, I almost hugged the waiter. I stared at my sandwich with a big smile.

"She's scaring me Andy," Ashley said.

"Scared me at first, but I've learned to ignore her with her food," Andy smirked and took a bite of his own sandwich, which was boring turkey and cheese.

"I am very passionate about my food," I said and took a bite of the sandwich. It melted in my mouth. It was so good.

"Did you just moisten your pants?" Jake asked. I gave him a disturbed look.

"No, where the hell did that come from?" I asked.

"The look on your face," Jake said.

"It's good, get over my face," I said and took another bite. Andy and I ate our food and when I finished, I was the happiest person alive. We got off of the chairs and paid for our food before hurrying to the car that was waiting outside for us.

"So what are they gonna ask?" I asked Andy.

"Probably about the album, then, like always, about our personal lives," he said.

"They're gonna bring up Juliet then, are you prepared for that?" I asked.

"As long as you are in the room, I will not lose my shit," he said.

"It's a radio interview Andy, I can't be in the room," I said.

"Damn, well, you'll be there listening, that's all I need," he said and gave me a kiss. I laid my head down on his shoulder and stayed silent as we arrived at the radio station. There was a crowd outside the building, but they didn't seem to be violent. We climbed out of the car and were quickly ushered into the building and then to the studio where the interview was going to take place. CC and Jinxx were getting their headsets fitted to their heads while Ashley and Jake were getting ready for that. Andy stood next to me and had his arm around my shoulders.

"Talk about me," I said.

"Of course I will. You are a big thing in my life," he said and kissed the side of my cheek.

"I know, and you are a big thing in my life," I said.

"What did Charlie want this morning?" He asked.

"To say hi, then to tell me that Tyler is having him record a demo," I said.

"Really?" He asked. I nodded and then Jon appeared in front of us.

"As much as I hate breaking up the two of you, Andy needs to get his head set fitted. Come on Biersack," Jon said and pulled Andy away. I've gotten used to it so it didn't surprise me anymore. I sat on the counter and watched as they fitted the headphones to Andy's head and then usher the five of them into the studio to begin the interview.

"Let's go listen," Jon told me and I followed him into a room where I could see them and could listen.

"Good morning Seattle, it's a cold morning in February, such sadness. But we have brought the heat. Today we have Black Veil Brides here with us to talk about their new album, new romances, any news they have, and how tour is going so far. Welcome guys," the radio host said and the band all did their hellos.

"So, you guys released your self titled album in October of last year, and it has gotten great reviews, especially the single Heart of Fire. What are you guys making of the success?"

"Well, the album itself is a more mature album for us. And we are glad to see the great success of it around the world," Andy said.

"Speaking of the world, you guys are on a world tour right now, are you excited?"

"I'm excited, our first show is tonight and I am pumped to get out on stage," Ashley said. I smiled as I watched them.

"So your tour hasn't actually started yet?"

"Technically no, but technically yes," Andy said.

"How so?"

"A lot of people say the tour starts when the first concert happens. But to us, the tour starts when we ride that tour bus to another state, like we did yesterday," Andy explained and I chuckled.

"Ah, what are you most excited about for this tour?"

"I know I'm excited to be singing the new songs to the world. Also showing a different side of us," Andy answered. The radio host nodded and looked at his papers.

"The album is having great success, like mentioned before. It might even be the most successful album. What do you make of that?"

"I think it's the most successful because it's a different side of us. It's different from Wretched and Divine, this album is all us, all raw feelings. I am excited about the tour because of that. And because I'm not putting the make up on anymore," Andy laughed.

"Speaking of that, did you guys decide to just not wear the make up because you are showing a more mature side of you, or because it's a new phase for you,"

"We stopped the war paint because this album isn't about that, it's us, not what we were," he said.

"Understandable. Now, Andy, the social media world was thrown for a whirl when you announced at your Kerrang! award nomination party that you and Juliet Simms were no longer together and that you were dating country queen Lori Ann Christian's daughter Sadee. What happened?"

"Seriously? They have to associate me with my mom?" I asked.

"That's how people know you," Jon answered.

"Well, I think that they should know me for my own music, not hers," I said and crossed my arms.

"Um, well, Juliet and I just went our separate ways, she had her music she wanted to focus on, I have mine. It just wasn't working," Andy said. I could see in his face that he was pained to say the lie.

"Did you guys tell him to say that?" I asked.

"Sorry?" Jon asked.

"Did you tell him to say that about their break up?" I looked at him.

"No, he decided that himself," Jon said and I sighed.

"What about Sadee, what happened there?"

"What do you mean?" Andy asked.

"I mean, how did you two meet? What attracted you to her?"

"Oh, we met because a manager of mine for my Andy Black project hired her to be a co writer with me on the songs. We became good friends and it turned into a relationship. What attracted me to her? I don't know, probably just how independent she is and how amazing she is at writing songs," Andy answered and I smiled.

"Sadee is on tour with you guys, right?"

"She is," Ashley answered.

"Why doesn't she come on and talk to us?"

"Hell no, I am not doing that," I said.

"No, she's not really into interviews right now. She's here for support for all five of us," Andy said. Thank the lord he knows me so well.

"Moving on then, is there any news you all want to say?" They all looked around at each other and shrugged.

"Not really, our only news is that we are on tour for seven months," Andy said.

"Well, it was great having you here," the radio host ended the interview and played a song while the band shuffled out of the room and took off their head phones. I walked out of the little room I was in and found Andy.

"Thank you for knowing me so well," I said.

"What?" Andy asked.

"You know how I feel about interviews, and you declined me going out there," I said and hugged him.

"Oh, yeah," he said and kissed my forehead.

"Alright guys, sound check is at four thirty, concert at seven. Let's go," Jon said and we all left the building and got into the cars to go to the venue.

From the backstage room, I could hear the crowd talking and getting hyped for the show. I was sitting on a table with my legs dangling off while watching Andy get into his concert outfit.

"Hey, you look bored, what's up?" Andy asked as he pulled the vest on.

"I'm not bored, the food coma hit me," I said and watched him walk closer to me and then he wrapped his arm around me.

"You ate that sandwich like four hours ago," he said with a chuckle.

"My stomach hates me. Don't you get really warm in all that leather?" I asked.

"Yes. But usually I rip off the vest and shit if I get too warm," he said.

"Classy. What cue do I listen for to come out on stage?" I asked.

"You listen for me to introduce you," he laughed and put both hands on my face and kissed my nose.

"My nose, really?" I laughed and wrapped my arms loosely around his neck.

"Yep. I am super glad you came on tour with me," he said.

"I'm glad I came too. I gotta keep you five in line," I said.

"Says the 5'6" female," he said.

"Hey, I'm short, but I can kick ass," I said. He nodded and laughed before stepping back to let me get off the table.

"You know, you're like a foot shorter than me?" He asked.

"I do. Stop rubbing it in you giraffe," I said and he gave me a look.

"Now I'm a giraffe?" He asked.

"Yes," I said and walked out of the room and down the hallway. Andy followed me and we walked to where the band was standing, waiting to go on stage.

"You two better not have been fucking in there," CC said.

"No, I am in a food coma, my brain cannot comprehend anything," I said and Andy wrapped his arm around my shoulder loosely.

"Good. Come on Andy," CC said and then they all began going out on stage. Andy bent over and kissed me for a second or two before hugging me and then running out on stage. He is such a kid sometimes. Doing things and then disappearing. I sat down on a container and watched the band perform. Andy was having so much fun on stage, running around, getting the crowd involved. I was swaying back and forth as he sang and then Jon appeared next to me.

"Having a good time?" He asked.

"Yep, you?" I asked.

"So much. You know, Andy is a much different person than he was when he was with Juliet," he said.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked. Jon chuckled and shook his head.

"No, it's actually a good thing. He's nicer and doesn't drink as much. Then again it's only the first day of tour, but still. He's not constantly on his phone talking to her, which would probably still happen if you weren't here. But he's just got a different vibe," Jon tried to explain and I nodded.

"I understand. He was a sarcastic asshole when he was with Juliet, even I know that. But I think the reason he's different is because of what the break up did to him," I said. Jon shook his head.

"No, the break up has nothing to do with how he is now. When Scout broke up with him all those years ago, he took it hard but moved on. The break up from Juliet took a hit on him, but you are the reason he is happy, he's admitted it to the band. Don't let him go. I'd hate to see him torn apart," Jon said.

"Well, today is your lucky day then. I don't plan on breaking up with him ever. It kills me when he's sad or pissed off. We are a team and he is my best friend," I said.

"See, Juliet never said that about him. She just kept saying how she loved him and he loved her. Never once did she ever say he was her best friend," he patted my knee.

"I'm not gonna lie about it. We can be dorks, and we can be serious. But we are best friends and I can tell him whatever the hell is on my mind and he does the same with me. Although sometimes I have to force the thought out of him, but that's probably because of how his relationship with Juliet was," I said.

"Yeah, they had a dysfunctional relationship. She was constantly accusing him of cheating and that he didn't love her. I swear the chick is bipolar," Jon laughed.

"I wouldn't put it past her," I said and then I heard my name being spoken on stage.

"I gotta get out there, good talk Jon," I said and gave him a side hug before skipping out on stage. When I got next to Andy, he wrapped an arm around me and I was smiley.

"This next one is called," he paused and put the microphone in my face.

"The Day You Left," I said and the music started. As I sang the song, the emotion came out, like any other time. Then Andy sang and he put the emotion in. When we finished the song I was holding the mic and I was slightly out of breath. I was smiling though, and so was Andy.

"Good night Seattle!" I yelled into the mic and ran off stage with Andy. Once we were out of view from the crowd, he wrapped both arms around me and hugged me. Sweat and all.

"That was amazing," he said and kissed me.

"It was, good job Sadee," CC said and I smiled.

"I have this awesome idea. We should all do a group picture after every show," I said.

"Like the band?" CC asked.

'Well duh, but the band, me and Jon," I said.

"Okay," Jon said and we all got into a group and a crew member took the picture.

"Memories!" I said with a weird face and ran around backstage. Touring is always fun, but this one is by far, the best.

Notes

Third chapter! Hells yeah! So yes, food, interview, and concert. We found out about Andy and Juliet's relationship, or at least what I am portraying it as. :3 And the picture thing just randomly came to me as I was writing. So basically it's a picture backstage after they are all sweaty and nasty. Sadee is a creative spit fire isn't she? Hope you liked it!

Nest stop is St. Paul, MN. And it will be like a week later!
