~Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness~

Stars POV

I turned my body to find myself face to face with Andy. I smiled softly to myself before snuggling closer to his bare, heavy breathing chest. His arms instinctively wrapped around my body, holding me close. I found my eyelids once again go heavy as I fell asleep to beat of his steady heart.

"Star are you in her- OH MY GOD!" I shot up and looks at Violet before harshly pulling up the covers to my chest. She covered her eyes and walked out. Andy and I both shot out a loud laugh and continued until I wiped a tear from my eye. "Did you see her face?" He choked out, trying to control his laughter. I shook my head, still smiling. "I guess I'd better see what she wants." I tried to stand but strong hands pulled me back down. "Andy I ha-" I was cut off by his lips pressing my neck. My tilted my head to the left, exposing my neck to him more. His hands found their way down my back and at the top of my bare thighs. He rubbed gently before sliding his hand up, making me let out a small moan.

He hovered over me and continued to kiss my lips passionately, but not before he easily slid himself into me, making my teeth bite down softly on his bottom lip. Our hips moved in sync with one another as he repeatedly hit the spot that made me cry out in pure pleasure.
I pulled on a new set of underwear and bra before throwing on some shorts and a loose, black tshirt. I combed my hair lightly with my fingers and stepped out of the bedroom, strolling through the hall until I reached Violet's door. I knocked gently.

I walked in to see Ashley on the bed playing on his phone while Violet was applying a later of dark shadows to her eyes. She glanced over and let out a soft chuckle. "Next time you wanna blow me off for a guy, just tell me so I don't find you bare in his bed." She scrunched her nose while a deep laugh came from Ashley. "Oh shut it Ash. I'm sorry, I just got distracted and...then we fell asleep." My face was already turning shades of rose pedals. She stood up and walked over to me. "Star, your natural color is coming back. Wanna go to the mall with me to get it redyed?" I thought about it in my head for a moment before nodding my head. "I need a shower though.." "After last night with all the noises coming from that room, you better get a damn shower." I threw a playful glare at Ashley who lent me an innocent smile.

"Where are you going?" Andy whined as I walked into the bathroom. "A shower. Care to join? You need one to." He looked wounded. "You telling me I stink?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes, like sex. So yes? Or am I going to have to do it by myself?" His eyes lit up. "I'll be there in a second." I stripped from the clothing and jumped into the steaming water, waiting for Andy. We exited the shower as I wrapped a towel tightly around my body. "Violet, can I borrow some clothes?" Ashley was till lazily sitting on the bed, eyes glued to his phone. She nodded and through me an outfit. A strapless back top with a loose grey skirt. I nodded my thanks and retreated from her room.

"I'll be back Andy, I love you." He kissed my lips and watched me drive off with Violet.
"What're you going to do about Ronnie since you and Andrew are clearly back together?" Violet asked me, turning down the volume of 'fuck you over' by The Summer Set. "I don't know, I'm not sure what to do." I replied honestly, biting my lip softly. As we reached the mall, we stopped by Starbucks to grab our coffees and walked around.

"What color do you want for your hair?" Violet beckoned me for the third time since we've been here. "I told you, I don't know. The appointment is open in ten more minutes. Want to head over now?" She nodded and threw her cup in the garbage.

"Do you have an appointment?" The lady asked me while tapping her fingertips against the marble counter. "Yes, Star Benson please." She smiled at me generously and flipped through the schedule book. "Ah! There you are. You'll be with Stacy today. She's in the back, with the purple hair. She's hard to miss." I laughed awkwardly and walked to the back with a Violet. The appointment was filled with awkward comments and picking out samples of hair dye, but finally after an hour, it was finished. I paid at the counter and walked out with Violet.

I checked my phone to see several missed calls and a few text messages. "Andy miss you?" Violet teased as i furrowed my eyebrows. "It's Ronnie. I'm gonna call him back, just to make sure things are okay." She nodded and sat on a wooden bench. I dialed his number and waited for his answer. "Star? Where are you? Are you okay? I expected you to come home last night." "Relax, I stayed with Violet. I'm at the mall now with her." I was quickly interrupted. "You mean to tell me you stayed at Andy's?" He said in a disgusted tone. "Yeah? I told you I was with Vio-" "are you okay?" I sighed. "Yes Ronnie, I'm okay. I promise. But...I have to tell you something later when I get home." "Okay, I'll talk to you later."

"He really cares Bout you, doesn't he?" Violet said in a weary voice. "Yeah, he does. But I don't live him Violet. My heart has always belonged to Andrew. I can't help it." She rubbed my shoulder with her right hand and gave a small smile. "You look pretty hot with blonde hair." I laughed out loud. "Thanks Violet." We returned to the car and she dropped me off at Ronnie's.

I pushed the Key in and turned the doorknob. I walked into the living room to see Jacky and Ronnie playing Xbox, shouting at the television. "Hey guys" I waved and plopped down onto the couch. "Hey Star, woah! Ronnie look at the hottie!" Jacky whistled, catching Ronnie's attention. I blushed and turned my head, I could already feel Ronnie's eyes on me. "You look beautiful." Ronnie compliments, kissing my forehead gently. 'Come one Star, you have to tell him'

"Ronnie, can I..can I talk to you alone?" I asked shyly, standing up from the couch. "Yeah of course. Ryan! Take my place!" He walked towards his bedroom, and closed the door behind him. "What's on your mind?" I took a deep breathe and started. "Whenever I went Ho-to Violets yesterday, I ended up...talking with Andrew." I saw his jaw tense at the use of his name. "I forgave him Ronnie. I can't keep myself stick with this miserable feeling of alone. Please, please don't be upset." I pleaded, worried about his reaction. "He's just going to hurt you again Star. Why can't you see that?" He sounded hurt, not mad. "He made a mistake Ronnie, everybody does. I can't keep this grudge on him when it hurts to not be with him." He looked down. "Are you moving back in with them?" I hadn't thought about that, it's only been one night. "Not unless you want me to leave. It's only been one night and I like having you guys in my life."I smiled at him gently.

"Just....one more thing Star. Please?" "Of course Ronnie, what?" He looked at the door, then looked back at me and kissed my lips softly. "Just remember that no matter how he hurts you, I'll always be there to pick you back up." He walked out of the room, letting me excuse myself to my own.

Why was he so convinced Andy would hurt me again?
