~Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness~

Star's P.O.V~
I woke up next Violet and Sunni on my bed in the morning. Not wanting to get up, I looked over at the clock to see the time, which read 12:40 in the after noon. I rolled back over and made a loud groaning sound until I realized, "Oh shit!!" I must've been pretty loud because Violet jumped up wide awake wondering what the hell had just happened. "I have to be at the mall in two hours to meet Chris!!" I got out of my bed and ran towards the bathroom after grabbing my outfit from the dresser and got ready.

"Do you want me to do your makeup?" Sunni asked, obviously just waking up after she added a long and loud yawn. "S-sure" I replied, toothpaste running down my mouth. I adjusted the top of my strapless, yet very annoying dress, and covered it up with my favorite light jean jacket.

Sunni put her hair back into a messy bun and got out a black bag with music notes all over it that had my makeup inside. Her hand gestured me towards the leather seat in front of my vanity as she applied a light blue eye shadow and mascara with some clear sparkly lip gloss to top of my look. I brushed my natural but messy hair and quickly ran a straightener through it to tame the wild nest.

Andy's P.O.V.~
"Andy! Hurry your ass up! How long does it take to get a normal shower?!" Shouted Jinxx from the other side of bathroom door. I slept in later than I should've so I had to hurry and get one. I turned the decently warm water off and wrapped the white, torn towel around my waist.

I put on a blue long sleeved shirt with black stripes along with dark blue jeans and my favorite converse. I left the bathroom and grabbed a bowl of cereal while Jinxx ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower.

"Andy, when are you going to get a girl? Seriously. You're the only one out of us doesn't have one. And I see the way girls look at you like their the predators, and your the fresh meat" asked Jake as he stuffed his face with whatever food he could reach. "Because, for now, my love life, doesn't exist. Not to me." I walked away after my remark and went into the living room to watch some TV.

I started thinking to myself about Jake's question. Why don't I? Oh that's right, my reputation. Ever since high school, people thought nothing of me but a popular man-whore. Which was true for the most part. My parents use to complain about how many girls I'd end up bringing home. I didn't care. It didn't matter to me, because I never loved any of them. I didn't exactly believe in it. All girls I have been with in the past had just used me for a good time then left.

Star's P.O.V.~
By the time I was all ready to go, it was 2:50. Violet had dropped me off at the mall to meet Chris there at three. I walked down to the frozen yogurt shop where I had met him yesterday. He instantly stood up and brought me over the line to grab some yogurt. I swear I could eat frozen yogurt everyday.

Chris decided to start our conversation, "Star, tell me a little about yourself."
"My name is Star Bright Benson. I'm 17 years old, and just got into my senior year at my High School. What about you?" He nodded and replied with "My full name Christopher Drew Hudson. I am 18 years old, and graduated last year." We talked about our lives a bit more and what some of our favorite things are. "So Chris, a little more personal, when and how did your first kiss go?" "Funny story actually, I was in Middle School in the gym at this dance that we had and I went with this one girl, uhh, oh I can't even remember her name, but anyways, we were dancing, and I went to lean in for a kiss, and right when our lips touched, someone ran into me causing her to bite down on my lips to where they started bleeding." "OMG!! really?" I asked while bursting out laughing. "Yeah!! What about yours?" I just looked down and bit down on my bottom lip while lowering my head. "Are you saying that the Star Benson hasn't kissed anyone yet?" I looked up at him "Well, not a guy.." I said quietly and he looked shocked. "What do you mean 'not a guy'.." he asked. "There was a sleep over party I went to back in like the seventh grade, and we were playing 'truth or dare'. There was a new chick who had shown up at the party, and it was my turn to be dared. My best friend, Violet, dared me to kiss the new girl for fifteen whole seconds without stopping or she'd make up a cruel punishment. So five seconds later, I went over to her, and kissed her for fifteen seconds." He just laughed and shook his head at me.

*End of Date*

"I had a nice time! Thank you again for the frozen yogurt." He waved to me goodbye and I was left alone at the mall, waiting for Violet and Sunni to come pick me up. I was walking towards the entrance when I heard some older guys laughing in my direction. I turned around to see them smirking at me and obviously checking me out. "You got a problem" I rudely asked to one of them. "Not. At. All. My love." said the tallest one while disturbingly biting his lip. I looked away in disgust and walked out the doors and into the parking lot of the mall.

Violet should be here any minute now.

"Where are you?!" I shouted through the phone showing my annoyance. "I'm sorry. I'm stuck in traffic! I'll be there in five. Promise!" I hung up and sat down on the now wet bench beside me. I watched the rain pour down while I was safe and dry under the little shelter above the benches.

"Well, well, I thought your little girlfriends were picking you up?" Oh great. I looked over just to see the same guys from inside. "What do you what?" He looked at me and smirked. "Nothing much." He was eyeing me up and down like I was his prey. I rolled my eyes and started to walk away when I felt strong hands grabbed my forearm and turn me around when I screamed at him to let me go which just caused his grip to get tighter when all of a sudden a silver car pulled up.

"What the hell?! Let go of her, asshole!" Violet spat. He released my arm and walked away after he turned around a winked at me. I thanked Violet and got into the car.
