~Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness~

Star's P.O.V.~

I woke up with a light crust covering around my eyes. I wiped my eyes from the dry tears and sit up. I lazily dragged myself over to the closet and pulled out some black high-waisted shorts and a Falling in Reverse loose top, that shows a little bit of my stomach, with Ronnie's name written on the top. I skipped over to my mirror and plugged in my waver into the outlet, waiting for it to heat up. While waiting, I applied a light grey to my eyes with black liner on the top and bottom, finished with a quick swipe of mascara. I quickly waved my hair, burning my neck slightly. I hissed at the sting but ignored it as I grabbed my black converse and shoved my feet into them. I swung my bag over my shoulder and ran down the stairs.

I refuse to let Andy see how upset I am on the inside. I may have over reacted, but I have him all of me, only to be ignored the next day. He was on the couch drinking an alcoholic beverage with Ashley. I avoided his heated gaze and searched for my house keys. "Anyone see my keys?" I shouted to no one in partially. "Here Star" Ashley tossed me the little chain with different key chains of bands I liked. "Thanks!" I blew him a playful kiss in a friendly matter and plugged my ear buds into my ears. I started moving my head to the beat of 'Sexy Drug', Ronnie's newest album.

Violet came down the stairs in white and purple tie-dyed shorts with a tight black crop top. Noah picked out her outfits for now on, making her look like a slut. I fluffed my wavy hair and danced around the house waiting for Violet to be ready for school. "Looking good, moonshine" Noah teased, shoving his hands in his pockets. I ignored his comment and saw Andy staring at me through the corner of my eye, I shook my hips a little more to the sound of the music and met Violet at the front door. "Bye guys!" We shouted, earning goodbyes from all the guys.

"Hey Violet..." I said, not looking her way. "Hey.." She replied in an even more nervous voice than mine. "Music?" I asked, pushing the 'Just Like You' disc into the car. 'Chemical Prisoner' came on. I drummed my finger tips on my thighs, nodding my head to the music. "What happened between you and Andy?" Violet asked, pulling up to a red light. "I...well...the other night, we were...you know...and the next day, yesterday, he ignored me. Anthony was at the mall and Brady ended up dragging me to their car. I freaked out and screamed for his name but i was shoved into the car. This other friend kept trying to kiss me when I saw Andy rip Anthony from the car. He ended up kicking his ass while CC comforted me." She nodded understandably while we pulled up to the parking lot.

"There's Sunni..." Violet pointed out, closing her car door. We sat down by our tree and stared off into space. I saw Winter holding her books close to her chest while she walked past Sunni's table. Sunni stuck her foot out, causing the brunette to fall to the ground. "What the hell?" I asked, dragging Violet up with me towards the table. "What the fuck was that Sunni?" I asked, helping Winter put herself together.

Sunni smirked and shrugged. "What? I have no idea what you're talking about Star." She said innocently, blinking her fake eyelashes at me. "Whatever. Since when have you turned into a cocky bitch?" I asked, adding attitude by crossing my arms. "Hmm...I don't know? Since my EX best friend decided to steal my boyfriend." She shot back, standing up. "I told you, I didn't steal him. He broke up with you, and I'm sorry-" "he broke up with me because of you. I don't understand why though." She rolled her eyes. "Because I've known him for a long time Sunni. He realized who I was, he wanted to finally give us a try. He didn't mean to hurt you." Her facial expressions soften but her attitude did not. "Hurt me? You think he hurt me? Please. You can't honestly tell me I seem hurt to you. I don't care that he broke up with me. I care that you were suppose to be there for me when you turned around and took him right from my arms."

I closed my lips and sighed. "I'm sorry Sunni. I didn't mean to upset you." I uncrossed my arms and played with the bottom of my top. "You had to of known it would've though." She said, placing her perfectly manicured hands in her curved hips. "I did, but I didn't think about your feelings and I'm sorry. I was selfish, and not loyal as a friend." I admitted, rubbing my arm with my left one. She nodded her head. "I better get back. Bye." She said with little emotion.

Violet, Winter, and I walked Into the lunch room and sat in the seats near the front, away from everyone else. Anthony made sure to avoid any contact with me, waiting for his injured face healed. His nose was bruised and his lip had a blood red scab over it. He limped slightly as he walked but managed to get where he wanted. The day went fast as Violet and I shoved out materials into our lockers. "Hey Winter, do you want to come over for a bit?" I asked politely. "Sure!" She smiled brightly as we reached Violet's car.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and directed Winter at the front door. The guys were in the living room, including Noah, so we went upstairs to my bedroom. "So, everyone lives here?" Winter asked, sitting cross-legged on my bed. "Yup" I said, popping the P. "Wow, I mean, this place is huge!" I chuckled at her enthusiasm. We ended up sitting in my room talking for about four hours until Winter had to leave. "Here, I'll drive you." Violet offered, shrugging on her black hoodie. "Bye Star, I'll see you tomorrow!" I waved her goodbye and went downstairs to see that Andy and Ashley were gone.

"Where are Ashley and Andy?" I asked Jake. "Oh...Ashley wanted to go out, so
Andy went with him. They shouldn't be gone to long." I sat beside CC and stole some popcorn. "Hey! Get your own!" He whined. "Oh shush it, you love me." I teased, throwing the piece into my mouth and sticking my tongue out at him. He laughed and I lay my head against his shoulder, nervously waiting for Andy to calm home. I didn't feel good about him going out with Ashley. Especially with our circumstances. 'Relax Star, he wouldn't do anything. He loves you.' I reminded myself.

"You okay there?" CC asked me. "What? Oh..yeah" I said, unsure of my answer. He seemed to catch on. He put his arm over my shoulder in a reassuring manner and talked to me. "Andy loves you Star. He wouldn't do anything to sabotage what you have. I mean, I can't say the same for Ashley, but Andy's not like that." "Thank you CC." "You going to bed?" He asked, standing up with Jake and Jinxx. "Uh..no. I'm going to way for Andrew." They all gave me hugs and side smiles as they climbed up the stairs.
'He'll be Back Star. You know he will' I curled up on the couch with a blanket wrapped around my small body. I hadn't bothered changing so I just lay my head on the silk pillow and waited for him to come home.

One hour. Two hours. Three. I've been watching the clock tick as I felt my eyes getting heavy. Soon, all I could see was darkness. Sleep had taken over my body.
