~Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness~

Violet's P.O.V.~
Star still hasn't told me who called her yesterday, but I'm her best friend. If it was important she would have told me by now. Right? Right. Once she came back over to us, we all had a contest to see who go swing the highest, jump off and land on their feet. Andy , of course, won while Star jump off and slid right onto her butt and I well, I failed terribly.

"Star. Hey! Wake up. You got one hour until you have to be at work. It's already two." I say, shaking her a bit just so she wakes up. "Mmmkay. Hold onnnn." She mumbled back.

She came down in her favorite pair of black ripped jeans and a grey colored sweater with poka dots going along the stitching of it. "Why didn't you wake me earlier?" She asked. "Why didn't you set an alarm?" "I forgot, okay?" I playfully rolled my eyes and went back to eating lucky charms.

Star left me alone so I decided on a movie night. I grabbed a bowl of cheesy puffs and sat down onto the sofa, pressing play on the remote to Maleficent. Not even two hours past when I Took a sip of my Snapple's Cherry Punch and heard a loud and harsh knock on the door. Not thinking anything of it, I walked over to the door, and opened it.

"N-Noah?! What are you doing here?" I ask, trying to hide the fact that I'm actually terrified. "You cheated on me. The question is, with who?" He asked, more calmly than I expected. "No one. It doesn't matter. Please Noah, just leave. We're in the past now." "Okay. You either tell me who it was, or I make you." "I said no." "Excuse me?" I looked into his no hearted, cold eyes and said as clear as day again. "No!" My bravery quickly fell when I fell a cold, strong hand crash onto my neck, shoving me towards the wall by the doorway. "TELL ME WHO IT WAS YOU LITTLE SLUT!" I coughed out a no and tried my hardest to pry his hands away from me.He tightened his grip before throwing me to the wooded floor. "Please don't!" I shout, covering my face to avoid any contact with it. Instead, I saw him pull his foot back and all to soon I felt his steel-toed boots collide with my sides and stomach repeatedly, causing me to cough out blood. "STOP!" "NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHO YOU KISSED!" I was bawling, still attempting to pick myself up form the ground. I managed to get on my feet only to be shoved up against the wall again and choked. Noah ended up choking me out and with that, everything went black.

I fluttered my eyes open and tried to sit up. The door was still wide open but he was no where to be seen. I grabbed ahold of the doorknob and pulled myself up. I drag myself towards the downstairs bathroom and pull up my shirt to reveal the already shown bruises that revealed themselves on my skin. I got a grey washcloth and soaped it up to wash off the blood from my face. Once I scrub it off, I just noticed the bruises upon my neck in the perfect shape of fingerprints. 'Shit' I mumble to myself, digging through the drawers to find foundation. Nobody can know what just happened. Not even Star. When I looked half decent again, I let out a deep sigh and made my way out of the bathroom to clean up the floor from my dried blood.

Star's P.O.V.~
"Starrrrrrr come onnnnn!!" Andy whined, waiting for me to come back out from the back of Hot Topic. "Hold on! I'm talking to Cassie!" I shout back. "Sooo are you two dating yet?" I looked at her confused. "Yet? And no I don't think so...I'm not exactly sure." "Well everyone is talking about it. How Andy supposedly broke it off with Sunni to get with youuu." She winked. "No no no. He broke up with her because she was to clingy." I explained. "Okay. Whatever you say." "Starrrrrrr!!" He whined again. "Coming!" "Have fun with your boy toy." She joked. "Shut up!" I say before running out front to Andy. "Ready?" "Yes!" He groaned, hugging me and walking outside with me.

We got home and heard the theme song for Maleficent playing. We walked into the living room and saw that Violet was sleeping on the couch. "Hungary?" I asked Andy, pulling him towards the kitchen. He smiled at me. I pulled out the frozen pizza from the freezer and pre-heated the oven to the appropriate heat.

"Star..." "Yeah?" I replied, turning to face him. "I..." But he didn't finish . Instead, he stepped closer to me, causing me to jerk back into the counter top. He leaned him closer where I was breathing in his minty breathe. I couldn't take it anymore, I grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him closer, pressing my lips to his. He didn't seem to shocked about this action, because all to soon he was sliding his tongue in my mouth battling against my own.

The kiss was long and passionate until he pulled away with a bigger smile showing off his teeth. I smiled back, lowering my head to avoid the way to obvious blush that formed upon my cheeks. He lay his head on the top of mine and intertwined our hands together.

"Andy." "Hmm?" "What are we?" I ask him. "What do you mean?" He looks down on me since I'm so short compared to him. "Like...are we...a couple? Or?" I ask nervously. "Do you want to be?" "Well..I...yeah. I always have." He lifted my chin up once again and kissed me. No words needed.

Once the pizza was made, I woke up Violet and gave her a plate of two slices of pizza. "How'd you sleep sleeping beauty?" I ask her, pressing play on the movie. "Good I guess." She replied, shoving the first pizza in her mouth. "What'd you do today other than sleep?" "Oh...nothing really. I just watched movies and ate.." Okay, she's really good at lying, but something's wrong. "Is everything okay?" I ask her. "Yeah. Why?" I just shook it off and went on watching the movie with Andy and Violet.

* the next day *

Star's P.O.V~
I woke up with my head on Andy's lap while Violet's was on mine. I smiled slightly and adjusted myself so I was sitting up. Replacing my lap with a pillow, I moved Violet and got up to go to the bathroom.

I came back out and saw that Violet was up. "Morning" "good morning" she replies. "I'm gonna get a shower first, okay?" She says, walking up towards the stairs. I brushed my hair and got a plain black tshirt on with a regular pair of jeans and my converse and touched up my makeup a bit.

"Andy...Andy wake up. I have to leave." I gently shake him until his blue gems peer up to me. I lean down and kiss him gently. "I'll see you later okay? I don't have work so after school we can make up something to do." I smile down at him. "Okay." "Andy...I love you." He looked up at me, and smiled. "I love you too." Just those words make my heart melt coming from his mouth. We said it. Finally. Actually. Fully. Said the three words.

"Ready Star?" Violet asks me, pulling her necklace closer to her neck. "Oh yeah. Hold on." I ran over to give Andy another kiss goodbye. I smiled and waved and walked out with Violet. When we got to the school, people from all grades were staring at me. I guess the word spread about me tackling Anthony to the ground and hitting him. Aw well.

The first four four classes went by quickly, but by the time fifth period came, I was already half asleep. That is, until lunch came. I walked into the cafeteria looking for Violet and on the way, Brittany and her little group of plastics and sluts stepped In front of me.

"What do you want?" I asked with as much attitude as possible. "You know, I'm surprise you haven't done it yet." " haven't done what?" I ask her, as she circles around me. "I mean, I saw you with Andy. Do you really thinks he likes you? Poor child. He's just using you. Once he gets what he wants, he'll drop you faster than you'll ever understand. Give it up Star. I could have him back wrapped around my fingers within minutes. I'll show you." "Shut up Brittany. When will you let it go? He dumped your sorry ass because you cheated on him with a man whore. Your just a stupid lying cunt and I'm fucking tired of it."

She clenched her jaw and instantly kicked the back of my knee, causing me to fall to the ground. She jumped on top of me and scratched and punched my face. "GET OFF OF ME!" I scream, grabbing her arms and throwing her off. I rolled over so I was on top of her and punched her right in the mouth. That is, until her squad of whores pulled back my arms making me yell out in pain. They tightly gripped my arms and she stood up and fucking bitch slapped me. Hard. "Look." She starts out with, wiping the blood from the corner of her perfectly glossed lips. "Stay away from him. He's mine. Back off." The others let go of me and I fell, holding onto my wrist that one of them twisted harshly.

"OMG Star! Are you okay?!" Violet says, practically throwing her tray of vegetables on the ground. "Take me home." I growled through my teeth, gathering myself up and walking towards the exit. "But we can't just le-" "COME ON." I think I scared her because she ran towards the exit and jumped into her car.

The car ride was silent. Which I was thankful for. I was beyond pissed. I stormed out of the car. "Go back to school Violet. I'll be fine." Once she drove off I walked into the house, still holding my wrist to my chest, cradling it.

"STAR. What happened?!" Andy called out, running up to me, holding my chin up. I pulled away and backed up. "Star" he said in almost a whisper. He sounded hurt. But I was hurt. Physically. Mentally. Just everything. He wasn't using me. He said he loved me. He meant it. Right? Stop it Star! Okay, okay. "Andy, look, I had a really long ass day and I can't afford to get my wrist checked out so please, don't." I don't know why, but everything he did just made me more mad. He didn't do anything wrong.

I cleaned off off my face and grabbed an old brace from ninth grade for my wrist, holding an Ice pack to it as well. By this time, I was a little bit calmer so I lay down with Andy and cuddle up close to his chest. "Im sorry Andy. I just had a long and eventful day. my face hurts and my wrist. Please, just hold me." He puts his arm around me, pulling me even closer to him. I smile slightly as he kissing the top of my head. I soon fall into a dreamer's dream of nothing but happiness. Also known as, my dearest mother.
