~Stars Can't Shine Without Darkness~

Violet's P.O.V.~

I woke up on the ground of Star's living room. 'What the hell?' I ask to myself, only to be welcomed by a major headache. I walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water to help with my hangover from last night's adventure.

Once my head calmed down, I tried to refresh my memory on what exactly happened last night...

*Flashback*

As Star ran over to everyone else to play truth or dare, I walked over to get another drink.
"Back from your little game already?" I ask, as Ashley walks over to me, grabbing another drink as well. "Yeah I guess. I don't want to play truth or dare." "And why is that?" I asked him, a smirk covering my face. He pulled me over to the couch against the wall near where the music was coming from and sat me onto his lap. "What're you do-" I was interrupted by his lips pressing against my own. Not exactly caring what was happening right now, I kissed him back.

*End of Flashback*

I grabbed my cell phone from my bag on the couch and swiped it to the left to unlock it.

Three missed calls. Five new texts. All from Noah.

I groaned and for some odd reason, decided to call him back. After two rings he finally answered. "Why the hell didn't you fucking pick up your phone?!" He harshly asked. "I was out with Star and Sunni.." I reply, nervous of what Noah would say. "And what the hell were you doing?" "We went to a party, we had fun. No big deal.." I say, trying to be confident enough..."A party? You went to a party?" "Yeah. And guess what? I had fun. Without you. I actually had fun. Yeah we all had a little to much to drink but we had a blast." "What'd you do there? You didn't cheat did you? I swear to god if you di-" "You'll what? Seriously Noah, shut up. Your such a fucking hypocrite. How many times have you cheated on me? Yes. For an answer, I did. I kissed someone. And I fucking like it. And we're over. Goodbye Noah. I'm over it." "VIOLET, DON'T YOU DARE HANG U-" I pressed end and threw my phone on the counter.

Star's P.O.V.~

I woke up in the late afternoon, in my bedroom with Andy's arm around my waist. I swear, even before he broke it off with Sunni, we acted more like a couple than they did, only, we weren't and still aren't one.

I wiggled my way out out of his strong hold and walked over to the bathroom. Surprisingly, my head didn't hurt as bad as I imagined it would. I brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and adjusted my black pajama shorts and tank top.

When I walked down stairs, I heard shouting coming from the kitchen. "Violet?" I ask, stepping into the kitchen a bit further. She was on the phone. "You'll what? Seriously Noah, shut up." Well that makes sense. "Your such a fucking hypocrite. How many times have you cheated on me? Yes. For an answer' I did. I kissed someone." What?? "And I fucking liked it. And we're over. Goodbye Noah. I'm over it." I didn't hear what he said but she hung up and threw her phone on the marble counter.

I snuck around the corner and plopped myself onto my couch and turned on the television. "Hey Star, when did you wake up?" Violet asked as she came in to sit next to me. "Not to long ago. So what do you want to do today? I don't have to work until tomorrow, so another day off." "We could go take a walk outside? It seems pretty decent outside." "Okay! It okay if Andy comes? I ask her. "Are you two dating? You might as well be." "Nah. He just got out of a break up and I don't want push it."

I wake up Andy and tell him to get dressed since we're going on a walk around the park. He came downstairs in a pair of black jeans, a white muscle shirt, his usual black leather jacket, with his black converse. "Good morning, beautiful." He welcomes me in his warm embrace. "Good morning." I look up at him, smiling.

We arrived at the park and I instantly pulled Violet and Andy towards the swings to sit on.

About five minutes went by when I heard my phone start ringing. "Hello?" I answer it, putting it up to my ear. "Hello beautiful" I shot my head and held my hand over the speakers. "I..I'll be right back." I say to Andy and Violet while making my way over the other side of the swings.

"Chris! Hey.." "How are you?" he asks. "Oh. You know, I am great. You?" "I'm fantastic. So I was wondering...do you want to go out again tonight? We had fun last time. I was thinking maybe a movie or dinner?" I know this may sound rude, but ever since Andy, I totally forgot about Chris. "Oh, well Chris...You know I had fun last time, and as fun as that sounds, I don't think I can. I'm sorry." Before he could say anything else, I slowly hung up the phone and made my way back to Andy and my best friend.

Chris's P.O.V~
"Well?" Derick asks me. "She turned me down." "Okay, so you can either try again, give the dare to Zach, or give up." He explains, motioning his hands towards Zach, the one who gave me the dare to find a girl, and make her mine. And that is exactly what I plan to do. I am not going to humiliate myself in front of everything just because Star's being suborn. All I have to do, is prove that I can make her mine for a bit, and drop her. Easy. Or at least it should be. "What're you going to do?" Zach asks me. "I'm going through with your stupid dare. But no more interfering with it. Which means no more encounters with her like at the mall. Do you understand?" he nodded "Good."
