We Will Be Unbroken
ALEX'S POV
"Oh my god... He's right." Jinxx gasped. It was quiet for a minute or so, realization hitting everyone like bricks. My jaw dropped when i remembered how Andy told me that he couldn't go to the Head Master with my case unless we had physical proof that Max raped me.
Well now we do.
Andy's face went from beyond furious to shocked and thrilled in a matter of seconds, his eyes returning back to their natural baby blue color. He shook Ashley's hands from his shoulders and shot over to my side, immediately wrapping his arms around my waist. I returned the hug and extended my arms up to his neck as i buried my face in his chest. Tears of relief and happiness trailed down my face, staining Andy's shirt. He kissed the top of my head and whispered,
"He can't hurt you anymore." I could feel him smiling as he rested his cheek on my head. I nodded and pulled away, blushing when Andy swiped is thumb under my eye to wipe away the remaining tears.
Everyone was smiling. It was the greatest news we all heard in a long time and it was such a relief to know that within a month, maybe even less, i would never have to worry about Max hurting me ever again. An amazing feeling tingled throughout my body, making me smile wider.
"This is so great guys!" CC cheered happily. Everyone nodded in agreement, wide grins plastered on all our faces. Mine and Andy's were widest, obviously, but the rest were in close second.
"I should probably clean up this mess before my parents get home and freak the fuck out." Andy laughed, referring to the shards of glass everywhere from the table he flipped and the few pieces from the now smashed television.
"I'll help you." Jake offered before walking off into the kitchen, coming back with a trash bag. They began cleaning up the best as they could.
A pair of muscular tan arms wrapped themselves around my waist, pulling me towards a body. I turned around and smiled. I wrapped my arms around Ashley's neck, running my fingers through his pitch black hair. He sighed contently at my action.
"You have no idea how i happy i am for you, Lex." He grinned.
"Thanks Ash. I just can't wait for this to be all over with and behind me. It'll feel so good not living in fear, y'know?" I asked, frowning slightly. Ashley nodded in understanding.
"I have something i wanna tell you." He smiled. I raised an eyebrow in question, silently asking him what he wanted to tell me. Ash grabbed my hand and dragged me through the living room and kitchen. He opened the back door and stepped outside, closing it once I was out.
My body shivered from the cold December air. It probably wasn't the smartest idea to be wearing just a tshirt and a pair of Andy's sweatpants, without a jacket, but i didn't plan on going outside. Ashley noticed my shivering and shrugged off his black sweatshirt before handing it to me. I hesitated in taking it.
"Won't you be cold?" I asked.
"Alex, i'm a vampire. I don't get cold." Ash laughed, shaking his head. I grabbed the sweatshirt and put it on, silently thanking him with a genuine smile. The sweatshirt was huge on me, but basically everything was.
"Now, what did you want to tell me?"
"I met a girl..A special girl..A really special girl; i think she's my mate." He beamed. I grinned widely, excitement raging through me.
"Ashley, oh my god! That's great! Tell me all about her?" I exclaimed, completely forgetting about how i was cold. Ashley and i sat down on the lounge chairs simultaneously and faced one another.
"Her name's Devlynn. She's 18 with blood red hair and she's about 5'6 so yeah she's a shortie. We met at a motorcycle convention about two weeks ago; she was there with her brother. We started talking and she gave me her number. I asked her out that weekend and we went to dinner and then i kissed her and god Alex, it was so perfect! Butterflies erupted in my stomach and i swear to you, i saw sparks fly. Four days ago i told her i thought she was my mate, and explained what that was since she's human, and she was thrilled. I really love her Alex. I'm so happy i found her." Ashley rambled, his smile becoming so wide it looked painful. There was a shimmer in his eyes when he talked about Devlynn. He definitely was crazy about her.
"That's awesome, Ashley. I'm so happy for you! See? I knew you'd find your mate when you were least expecting it!" I wrapped my arms around Ashley's neck in a warm embrace.
"Thank you, Lex. I didn't go into much detail when i told the guys because they'd give me shit but i knew you wouldn't." He stated once we pulled away. Before i could speak the slider door opened and Andy poked his head out.
"I'm guessing you told her?" He questioned. Ashley nodded and smiled. "Alright, well we ordered pizza since my parents aren't gonna be home till late. Alex, i got you a salad." Andy stated. We followed Andy back into the house to eat.

yay! so ashley found someone :) i based it off of Devlynn Alexandra.. not sure if any of you know who she is but if not, look her up! she's stunning!I already know how i'm going to end this story and that makes me extremely sad. This is and probably will be my most successful fan fiction. so thank you to everyone who's commented, rated, subscribed, and even viewed this story! it means the absolute world to me; i love it. :')
@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
